This one was a bit longer... Though I was not a fan of Ty until the very end. Literally, I wanted to punch him in the face almost the entire story. He was conceited, self-important, arrogant, pompous, demanding and SELFISH! He just went along doing whatever he wanted to do, hurting whoever he wanted to hurt as long as it didn't make him look bad. My heart hurt for Jax, and I was kind of frustrated for letting Ty get away with all of it and treating him the way that he did through the whole book. He didn't even try to hide that it hurt him but Ty didn't even try to hide that he was more important than Jax's feelings.
Again, it would've been better, probably had it been longer and the ending was all warp speed. I was disappointed in how they catered to the girl, Merissa when it was obvious she leaked the story and she was just as self-important as Ty thought he was. It was irritating.
I eventually liked the two guys together, though I really only accepted them, because I thougth Jax deserved to be happy. Other than that, it's not much better than the first one.
Like in the previous book, their Daddy/Boy dynamic is just a role-play in the bedroom.
Their relationship is lust at first sight for Ty; I can't feel the deep, emotional feelings from both of them toward each other, and I don't like both Ty and Jax. Ty is a fucking coward. He hides his true self from the world, pretending to be straight and dating women, and hurts Jax in the process. Jax is too easy to forgive Ty after the repeated mistakes Ty made.
This is not enjoyable or fun to read at all.

I didn't like this one as much as the first in the series. Ty needed to grovel more to get back into Jax's good graces. He was selfish and hurt Jax repeatedly and I just didn't think that he really showed repentance for his actions before Jax forgave him.
Having said that, I did like that when Ty finally did decide to choose Jax, he came out rather spectacularly.
All in all, this was a good book although I was disappointed to the character developments. In the first book with Reese and Cruz, both had their backgrounds brought out and they both disclosed their issues, although Cruz was a little more taciturn with opening up. Daddy's Rules appears to be more about the sex scenes than anything else. I guess for the price I can't expect anything more.
Tyler a famous action star in the closet and pretending to be straight. Jax a little boy lost and not sure where his life was going but he needed a daddy. This book short but Sweet and being able to get over that fear of what will happen when they find out. Great way that it was written and detail of emotions and erotic.
This book shows how a career can define what society what's you to be even if it's not what you are inside. It takes someone strong to speak out to get what you want or need. Life sometimes surprises you. Things can make you stronger as a person when you fight for love.
Loved the story. Closeted action star and disadvantaged but well meaning thief meet and then.... Jax and Ty have some wicked chemistry and the Daddy dynamic is more sexy and fun as opposed to a true DS relationship. Well worth the read. Can't wait for number 3.
I didn't like this nearly as much as the first book. It was way too rushed. Short story or not, I need some character development before we get to the sex.
Ty was a douche and I'm glad Jax stood up for himself.
As I'm reading this story all I could think was that it was written by a psycho or that I was losing my mind. I felt that if I kept reading it then maybe it would start to make sense. But it really felt like the writers drugs were wearing off. Sorry.
The premise is good but it needs work on the storyline. Was he a thief? It just didn’t work. Overly emotional, jammed into a condensed, illogical story.
