Very Good! Abrianna Parker is on the run from street thugs, the law, and in many ways from herself. She's caught in the crosshairs of a political scandal that ties to the White House. A gritty look at the dark underbelly of Capitol Hill politics complete with designer drugs, debauchery, and black budgets.

This crime-scifi drama has good writing and well thought-out twists and turns. The ending was good, but is a cliffhanger for the next book. Still, the ending was very satisfying.

This book was awesome. I am glad Parker got his. I would like to see Bree and Kadir find some happiness. I also hope the experiments has not caused Bree any permanent damage. This book was better than the first. Can’t wait for the next installment.

Abrianna Parker is back for more in book two of the Parker Crime Chronicles, Collusion by De’Nesha Diamond. In this installment, Abrianna has been accused of murder and will do whatever it takes to clear her name. She has gathered a crew to help her bring the right people to justice but it won’t be easy.

Diamond didn’t disappoint me with this action packed novel. It had dynamic characters who kept me turning the pages. It not only had suspense but a little mystery, romance and great reveals. The plot, structure and dialogue were on point with moving the story along, as well as learning a little more about Abrianna’s back story. I would also love to learn more about Kadir Kahlifa since he has entered Abrianna's life and is sticking around. I can’t wait to see what else these characters may get into because I am hoping there will be a book three.

In Collusion, second book in the series, seems to move rather quickly in its pace. There's action, bit of suspense, and deception along the way. Who is Abrianna Parker? Aside what the reports say, Tomi Lehane, goes in to get her side of the story. What happened to Kadir? I hope Kadir gets a better ending; however, as the characters states in the novel--he made his chose.

Cargill Parker, adopted father of Abrianna, Dragon's Templar is a secret elite society where he seems untouchable because of his wealth inherited but soon becomes touchable. Is this a plot/scheme underway, or cover-up, or even smoke and mirrors?

I enjoyed the ending.

Side note: The hidden scandal could be a TV series on Lifetime, Crime/Thriller show, or similar to Tyler Perry's latest show: the Oval.

Part 2 of this series has secrets on top of plots, schemes and conspiracies.
I can't say too much without giving everything away. But the cast of assorted characters is back.
The book is very engaging. It took me a while to remember who was who (besides the two main characters) and what was what. But once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down There are many layers to the series and a plot so crazy it's plausible.
I can't wait for the next one. She definitely left us with a cliffhanger.

If you want a fast paced action packed story, this is the book for you. I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed learning(listening) about Abrianna Parker and meeting the cast of characters in her world. There was a little bit of everything in this book. Suspense, romance, mystery, and sci-fi. As the book unfolds you learn more and more about Adrianna's upbringing, which will blow you away. Her backstory alone makes this book well worth reading.
How Kadir came into Adrianna's life is interesting as well and I was eager to learn more about him and where he came from.
The cast of characters who make up Abrianna's crew along with the other characters in the story help to create this fast-paced story. It's the second in the series, and I'm sure book three will continue to delve deeper into Abrianna's crazy world. The romance writer in me is hoping for a happy ending to Abrianna and Kadir's story.

This book is fast-paced and is filled with detailing you’d find in a Marvel movie that borders on the ridiculous.

I have been a reader of this author for a long time and have always enjoyed her writing. She never disappoints and she did not disappoint with this book. This book has it all, sex, drama, etc. I am looking forward to seeing how this series ends. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this book. Although I received the book in this manner, it did not effect my opinion of this book nor my review.

Whoa!!! Why haven't I read her books before!! A little sci-fi mixed in with my favorite genre!.

Sex, greed, and murder on Capitol Hill! All of this, and a few human experiments, in a well-written tale.

Off to find the rest of De'nesha's titles!!
