Terrible title, great book. Terrible because I feel awkward when I recommend it. She should publish a version called 'Deconstructing Self Help.' Because basically that's what this is--she researched tons of self help books, threw out the bad, kept the good, and shared it with us in her 'no bullshit' voice.

For some reason, things in this book resonated with me more than other books I read in the self-help or pop psychology world. Especially her concept of "let's see if this flies" as a mantra for trying things without taking them so seriously or being so afraid of and devastated by failure. It flipped a switch in my brain, I started putting myself out there with creative projects, and have never looked back.

Highly recommend for anyone who feels like they're holding themselves back in some way (i.e. most people).

I'm not a big self-help book guy so overall it wasn't the book for me but I can see how it would be very inspirational to some. I also wasn't keen on how she references the universe and source energy instead of God but I also understand the need for authors to be PC these days...

Really enjoyed this, I’ve read a few books on the law of attraction but this one actually made sense to me. It gave clear explanation and reasoning behind suggested actions which I thought was very useful.
