This book has absolutely nothing to do with presenting powerful presentations. The only subject the author talks about is how to give a TED talk. The steps involved, preparation, how to get asked to give one, and so on. There is nothing in this book that even closely resembles giving powerful presentations outside of a TED setting. For anyone interested in a book about giving presentations, this is not the book for you. The title is extremely misleading. There are much better books out there that actually cover this topic. To make matters worse, the audio is far from great. Sometimes it's not bad and sometimes it sounds like she is reading the book from the other side of the room. I am really glad I didn't have to pay for this book because I would have been very upset. Complete waist of time for anyone not planning on giving a TED talk...

It's quite enjoyable to tune during a trip. Though I don't intend to give a TED talk, I was truly curious about this book.
The questions for how to develop your idea are really good, especially for creative people. It also exposes the complex process of getting your TED talk in detail, undoubtedly adding value for the next time I tune a talk.

Great if you have ambitions of doing a TED talk or generating ideas for talks. The PDF has a few guided activities that could also be helpful for generating essay or book ideas. However, if you are looking for advice on how to give great presentations in general; apart fro the practice habits, this book is not the book for you.

Autorka podsumowuje w ksiazce proces przygotowawczy prezentacji Ted.

Misleading title. It should be “How to Rock a TED talk.” You could also play a game where you drink every time she says the phrase “TED talk”.
This book is great for a person who actually plans to give a TED talk. Not for speaking in general.
