After years working for Talon Security, Sarah Scott has settled into her life in Los Angeles. Her friendships are growing stronger, and that spark with a certain former SEAL... well, it just might be worth exploring. That is, until her ugly past becomes her present and Sarah sees no other choice but to disappear. Letting her go isn't an option. Theo Armstrong appears back in her life, determined to claim and protect. Sarah has a choice to make between letting the stubborn, occasionally maddening, always endearing man into her heart, or fighting to keep him out. When Sarah's past comes roaring into the present with violent results, Theo and the Talon team will fight to protect the woman he loves. That freedom Sarah has craved all these years may be within reach--if she can survive long enough to claim it. Book Three of the Talon Security series can be read as a stand alone, though it is recommended you read the other two books in the series first. * Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.
Megan O'Brien is the best selling author of The Ride Series and the Talon Security Series. She has a passion for a good love story and most enjoys writing stories with an alpha male and strong female characters. Megan was born and raised in Marin County, California where she still resides with her amazing husband and two lovely sons.
When she's not enjoying family time or burying her nose in her kindle she loves hiking, running and relaxing moments on the back porch with a glass of wine.
Collide is my absolute favorite out of the series. I loved the suspense and the storyline was great as always with Megan O'Brien books. Theo is amazing and Sarah and him were perfect!!! I hope Declen and Char are next in the series;)
I have been so curious about Sarah Scott from the first book in the series. Hers and Theo’s book was a one click read and a word of advice do not start reading this at midnight because I could not put this down till I had finished it.
Sarah loved her job with Talon security but when her past rears its ugly head she knew she had to vanish, she wouldn’t let what had happened to her tarnish the reputation of a company and friends that she had come to love. Thinking she was doing what was best she returned home to her parents and her sister Charlotte and nephew Owen only it seems that she will never be able to escape what happened to her when she was at college. Working on her parents property she is shocked when Theo the man she tried to convince herself she had no feelings for arrives to convince her to return but will he still want her when he learns what happened in her past and can he protect her from the danger that never leaves her alone?
Theo Armstrong has spent the last year wondering why Sarah left, his feelings for her were unexpected but he lost his heart the day they met and the day she left it was destroyed. Trying to give her space he has hoped that she would return but after watching his friends find their HEA he knows that the only way he can get Sara back is to go and claim her himself. Can Theo convince Sarah that they belong together and that he will do all that he can to protect her from her haunting past?
One of the best books I have read in a while these two characters have chemistry that explodes and Sarah deserves to finally have her happily ever after. Praying and hoping that Declan and Charlotte get their own story too. This book is not safe and could definitely have triggers.
Collide was Megan O’Brien’s third book in the Talon Security series.
Theo Armstrong was a former Navy Seal and currently with Talon Security. He was light hearted and humorous with an intensity demonstrated only with Sarah and his work.
Sarah Scott was the receptionist for Talon Security. She had resigned a year ago and went back home to live with her family. She was basically in hiding, running from a past that wouldn’t leave her alone.
Theo and Sarah had chemistry. They never acted on it until Theo went after her to bring her home. I loved everything about Theo. He was totally protective alpha and all man. Through the storyline, O’Brien took us through Sarah’s past and put some mystery into her present and future.
It was a suspenseful plot, but it was also sweet. Theo and Sarah didn’t waste time this second time around. The saga focused primarily on Sarah’s danger and thankfully didn’t include other women or men drama. Once they committed, they fully embraced their relationship.
All in all, it was well written and entertaining. There were several editing errors, but nothing too distracting. Additionally, O’Brien included an all star supporting cast, some from previous books and others for future books.
Next up is Declan and Charlotte. We’ve gotten teasers but it promises to be emotional, engaging and entertaining!
Sarah Scott left Talon Security abruptly and moved back home with her parents, she had a reason but kept those reasons why closely quiet. Theo Armstrong has had enough waiting for Sarah come back and decides it is time to get her himself. Theo has loved Sarah for years but never admitted it,now is the time but he realizes Sarah has more to her then he imagined and wants her to feel protected with him around. Can Sarah give Theo her heart even though her past still is haunting her?
This was another great read from Megan O'Brien. I liked this story and was waiting for this couple to have their own book. I think Sarah's sisters story might be a good one and hope it is next.
The third book in the Talon Security Series cements the fact that Ms. O’Brien is guaranteed to deliver a solid read. It was sweet, emotional at times, with just enough action to keep me entertained.
We’ve met both Sarah and Theo in the previous Talon Security books. Theo works for Travis at TS and Sarah used to be the receptionist/office manager before she up and quit the year before. They had circled around each other when she was there but Theo never pulled the trigger on going after her. Something he regretted once she left.
Sarah had a past she wanted to forget but once it came calling she quickly gave notice and moved back home rather than let her issues cause the company any issues. Now back home on her family’s ranch she misses her life in LA immensely.
When Theo decides enough is enough and decides to bring her back where she belongs, sparks fly, as does the danger to Sarah.
I loved the chemistry between Theo and Sarah. It was hot and full of feels. And Sarah’s family members were so down to earth and friendly they made it easy to like them. Once things moved back to LA, it was nice to spend time with the Talon Security family.
My one little niggle was the whole scenario with Weston. It just didn’t seem believable to me. Add in the twist at the end and my BS meter was ringing big time. Despite this, I enjoyed my time spent with Theo and Sarah and can’t wait to see what happens next with Declan.
Book 3 in the series, Theo and Sarah. An excellent story. Really sweet hero and although some emotional parts also quite funny. Plenty of scenes with Travis, Sam and the rest of the gang, a few new hints at future possible story lines. Theo is amazing though not perfect he is so good with Sarah. Absolutely loved it.

I really liked this book. I started the series from the end instead of the beginning but it was an accident. Regardless, I liked the characters, the flow of the story and the couples story. I actually liked Sarah (which doesn't usually happen) and I liked Theo. I also liked the added mystery and the fact that this book didn't include all the wasted drama for no reason. I've already started the 2nd book in the series and know I'll go back to the beginning. Great read
I really loved this story! Theo and Sarah appeared briefly in the first 2 books so it was fun that we finally get their romance story! The author again gifted us with a love story filled with an intriguing mystery with escalating violence. Of course, we are now anxiously awaiting Charlotte and Declan’s story...because there just have to have one!
Theo is the newest operative to find a women. Sarah is Talon receptionist and has secret but Theo is an ex Seal that can protect her from a stalker. A romantic suspense with lots of action and heat
So far this is my favorite I the series. I love Theo and Sarah together and Megan always give just the right amount of drama mixed with comedy and sexy time. Now I cannot wait to read about Declan!
I'm going to focus on the positives of this story, but wanted to say this. I was disappointed that there were so many editing/proofing errors. It's a first for this author that I have seen so many. Normally her books are spot on. It is the only reason for the deduction because parts, you really had to re-read to be certain who was supposed to be speaking, what they were wearing, and trying to say. All that aside, this is one of my favorites by Megan to date. Theo and Sarah take the cake for me as a couple in this series. Their dynamics are spot on and you can feel the love, devotion, and yearning need bleeding from the pages. Theo shows Sarah that his world rises and sets with her. It's a heady combination when you add in his territorial need to protect and save her from her demons. Sarah just has to learn to trust in Theo and to let it go. She grows so much from the shy, scared, vulnerable girl into a confident woman by the end of the story. I was so proud of her by the end. It really pulled you in to see her becoming the lion and not the lamb. We get to catch up with all the Talon Security folks, and if this is your first story, you won't be lost. You can catch up with them in this book and not feel left out. Sarah's parents and sister bring an extra flare to the mix. It had humor, love, and soul as you read. I really hope we see more of Charlotte and Owen as the series continues. I would recommend this to a friend.
After working for Talon Security for years, Sarah developed feelings for Theo Armstrong and they flirted like crazy. But when her past comes back to haunt her, she leaves and goes back home to Munro, Montana. After being away for about a year, Theo shows up to get his girl back, he wins over her parents and her sister Charlotte and nephew Owen very quickly. When she has a panic attack, Sarah finally tells Theo about her past and the guy attacked and who's been stalking her for years. Theo does everything in his power to protect Sarah and they finally admit their feelings for one another. Declan even came to town to help out with the stalker issue and sparks fly between him and Charlotte but they have issues to get through. When they head back to L.A., Sarah and Theo are living together and things are working out just great for them. But her stalker is still out there trying to get to her but these men at Talon have her back no matter what and I loved that. Sam, Danny and Emerly were her best friends and also had her back. The epilogue was pretty incredible and I love how things have ended up for them and Sarah and Theo have made a good life for themselves. I can't wait to read about Charlotte and Declan.
Love love loved Theo and Sarah. You really get it all with Collide-- the love scenes are just steamy enough, you get intrigue, suspense, a tiny pinch of angst, and a decent dose of humor as well.
This book is also completely safe, no OW/OM drama, and no real push-pull going on. Theo and Sarah are together pretty much from the start.
Next I can't wait for Declan and Charlotte. Seriously. Sounds like Dec has some darkness in his past and is going to have to get his head out of his ass. Can't. Wait. to find out how their story unfolds.
I wish this book had better editing. I can't imagine how so many grammatical errors and story inconsistencies got past an editor and beta readers. One minute she's in a dress, the next it's a shirt. That sort of thing bugs me along with names being switched around. How many people actually read this book before the author hit publish ?
I liked Theo. In fact, I think he's my favorite so far. He always came across as being very sincere. I also really appreciated the fact that they decided to be together fairly early on as opposed to going back and forth. I do wish the women didn't have so many things happen to them. Like ok, one kidnapping is enough, two is overkill. The time does seem to go super fast, they're planning a wedding and the next chapter - boom, they have two kids.
Sarah and Theo - I anticipated this book as much as I did book two and Travis' story. Which was a decent amount, I knew that Travis falling in love was going to be intense, why would Theo - who was going to have to travel half way across the county to get the girl be any less intense?!
This was a fast paced read, full of characters that entertained me until the end. I'm glad that Sarah made Theo work for her. I'm ever more glad that Theo had no problem working for Sarah.
Megan O'Brien always delivers a fully thought out story that leaves me begging for the next book.
And for the record, I'm already on my knees begging for book 4 - because I think we all know that Declan is going to be full of the feels and smexy!
I have been trying to read more KU and library books and this one popped up as recommended. I enjoyed it, was a pretty easy read. Little bit of suspense but more geared towards the romance of the H and h. I think I would've gotten more out of this one if I read the rest of the series first but only this one was offered on KU. If they go on KU or I get a gift card I will probably go back and read the rest of the series.
I really enjoyed the Talon Security Men and women. I love the banter back and forth between them. It makes you feel like you are there with them. I just didn't love Sarah. I tried to find a way to wrap my head around her but her needy and soft nature didn't do it for me. It won't change my thoughts on how much you need to read this book. I can't wait for the next one!!!
I seriously loved this book. Theo and Sarah were amazing together. This book kept me at the edge of my seat, the entire night. I forgot about sleep for the night because I needed to know how the story would end. I highly recommend this series! And I cannot wait for Declan and Charlotte's story. They need there own H.E.A.!
Very enjoyable romantic-suspense series. Start with book #1 and read them in order. Book #1 Crave (Talon Security), book #2 Claim, book #3 Collide. Looking forward to book #4 but a publishing date wasn't listed.
This series just keeps getting better! I loved, loved, loved Theo and Sarah. Such a great cast of characters, completely sexy Alpha heroes. An awesome mix of romance and a suspenseful plot. My fingers are crossed that Declan's book is next. :)
I love this book. It was so exciting and I love the strong and yet loving characters. The story was great! This is the first in this series that I read, but I will go back and read the earlier books for sure.
I absolutely love this series it gets better and better I loved Sarah and Theo I loved there 💘love!!! I love how close all the friends are Sarah parents are funny and sweet best one yet!
I loved the depth to the characters and their relationships with each other. I really hope there are more books in this series. I’m dying to find out about Declan and Ryan too!
I love books where a man really fights for his lady, no wishy washy, push pull. Just knock down b###s to the wall fight for her, even against her own insecurities. Theo went after Sarah, and he won her beautifully.
