Every four years, several thousand cyclists make the iconic journey from Paris to the city of Brest on the westernmost tip of France. This is the story of one of them, why he wanted to do it, how he prepared for the event, and what he discovered on the way.
This is the second book in a planned series of three cycling books, after A Virgin Discovers Long Distance Cycling.
Malcolm Dancy is the author of A Virgin Discovers Long Distance Cycling.
Really enjoyed this read. Can recommend it if it's light hearted cycling entertainment you're looking for.
Recommended for people who might have an interest or simply a curiosity about long distance cycling. I was looking for something more focussed on PVP but still ended up enjoying the authors musings. This book is not going to give you much in terms of how to approach and plan a PBP but it's still worthwhile read.
