It's s short. A quick read. Essentially it's not bad as such, but I think I've read every advice here before, and usually written by better authors. Still it is what it is, a quick guide to writing. I wonder if it wasn't fairly quickly written as well.

Filled with contradictions and errors with commas and grammar. The author provides no real plan for writing a novella in a week other than to trust yourself and be real. (The author claims to be real so many times, I get the feeling that he is trying to convince the audience or himself of his realness.) The last twenty percent of the book is all about landing jobs on Upwork. The book is a long journal entry that reads like a pep-talk at best.

Reading this purely as an exercise in maintaining motivation and discipline. My novella is coming along, however with issues such as moving and sorting out my living space I dropped the ball. Though, still have the desire to get draft one finished. This guide gave me the kick to get back into the grind. The tips and advice are simple and basic, it’s the enthusiasm and ultimately the ‘permission’ the writer gives a fellow writer to go on. Sometimes you just need to read or hear an alternative voice that doesn’t rely on an exact formula to learn a ‘how to do something’. I don’t know anyone personally I could recommend this ebook to but if you are thinking of writing (anything really) I can say that just reading the author’s directions and offerings will provide you with encouragement to go one more word, one more sentence and one more day! Bought on Kindle (forgot the price).

I listened to the audio version of this book and to start with it doesn’t tell you at all how to write a novella in a week.
The title of the book should be changed since it is incorrect compared to the content within.
If you are looking for a book that gives you basic pointers for your writing, then this book would be fine.

The guide mentions to help readers to write a novella in a week but I think the framework of writing it within 7 days are not there. However, the book provide a solid foundation for beginner novelist.

Well, this was not at all a helpful, actionable, practical book. A lot of it felt like the author patting his own back, self-congratulatory without any useful advice related to the writing process. Lots of "just sit down and do it, believe in yourself like I did and you, too, can ghost-write dozens of books"
