Extremely good insight on the Mafia from the turn of the century to the mid eighties. Lots of interviews and biographies of famous hoods as well as the history of the Mafia in Italy and the USA. Whilst looking at the various murders and crimes both small and large committed by the Mafia it also shows how they corrupted a lot of American society though out the time they have been active in the USA. Well researched and written. This book is based on the documentary of the same name (which you can find on Youtube and is well worth watching).

Interesante documento escrito en lenguaje periodístico, que recoge la historia y las andanzas de la mafia, hasta su publicación, a mediados de los 80.
Es muy denso, pero de antena lectura.

Debunks commonly held myths about the Mafia. Good insight into the mafia's connections.

However it's too scattered, and isn't that in depth as expected. Would be better off watching the documentary instead.
