This is a good story by an author that I haven’t read before. Alexa has had hard knocks in her young life yet she didn’t let that get her down. After being thrown out of her parents’ home, she ends up just finding her way to Madam Teresa's. She ends up having to find a way to survive and selling her virginity at the club ( Madam Teresa’s) is her way to do so.
Dean is a billionaire who comes to the club often but really no one has ever caught his eye until sees Alexa in Madam Teresa’s. He then makes it a point to purchase Alexa’s contract for three months which include her virginity.
This story is steamy and angsty, and it is full of passion and intrigue. The heart of the story takes place after Dean purchases Alexa. I was drawn into Alexa and Dean’s love story. My heart broke at times , other times I wanted to yell and scream at Dean to get a clue, other times I oohhh’d and ahhhhh’d. The only thing I think I would have liked more about this story would have been an epilogue because it feels their story is left unfinished. Otherwise. This was a sweet and steamy love story with some BDSM aspects in it.

This is my first Angela Blake book but not my last. This is a shorter read, so be prepared you will not get back stories or long drawn out talking points. Yes, this story does have some BDSM but it doesn't over rule the story. I did enjoy it and will read more by Angela in the future. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review.

A well written story that is fast paced with instant love and attraction.
I like the way Angela Blake has taken her time to describe the two main characters in their own environment.
It is a story that contains a small amount of BDSM but it does not overtake the story and it only gives it a bit more. Very hot scenes and great chemistry between the main characters.
Alexa has not had a nice past and she can only dream of getting her own life on tour and opportunity to make something of it. She is auctioned of to the very uptight and closed Dean. He has also not had such a great past when it comes to relationships with women and family. He does not believe that he deserves something good. They are both broken and they need each other to come out of it.
I loved the steamy hot scenes and their story.
I got confused for the first few chapters because I could not find out where Alexa was and what she was doing there. I would have like that it had been described early in the story. Their story would have benefited had it been a bit longer. That it had a bit more depth to it. It is a bit to rushed overall but it is an enjoyable quick short read.

This novella was a treat consumed in one evening. Having read many stories about young girls having to sell their virginity because of a need for money, I found the premise of The Virgin’s Contract to be enjoyably different. While there are still two damaged souls healed by love, the story of Alexa and Dean is told primarily from Alexa’s and an omnipotent narrator’s point of view. Additionally, Alexa is not seeking money for some altruistic purpose. Instead, having been disowned by her family she has no other choice if she is to survive. While there is some limited BDSM, the story focuses more on the two main characters and how each wants to give in to their growing love for each other, but are hesitant and scared to do so. I like Angela Blake’s writing; it flowed easily and kept me interested and engaged. It would’ve been wonderful to get more character development and less “tell not show”, but this was a novella. I received an early ARC copy and am writing this honest book review voluntarily. I plan on reading more stories by Angela Blake and suggest that you start with The Virgin’s Contract, today! Happy pages 😉

The Virgin's Contract is a short read. It could be read in one reading. After being abandoned by her family, Alexa did not let the the worst thing that happened to her, make her bitter and angry. Whereas Dean Withers took on a different approach after his fiance's betrayal.

Two damaged souls and yet both discovered happiness with each other if they could only trust and love each other enough to find their happily ever after.

I love the story and how strong Alexa is. Even though, life have dealt her a bad hand, Alexa refused to let that spoil her outlook in life or even someone's negative attitude affect her. She is lucky that she has a benefactor that save her even though it is sordid life, Alexa is introduced to.

I would like to find out if Alexa is able to follow her dreams if there is a next part of this story.

Harper was down on her luck and took a nanny job back in her home town of Miami, Florida. Brayden was the owner of the Resort the couple she was working for lived. They had gone together in high school and Harper had loved him. They had broken up and she hadn’t seen him since. Neither one had forgotten the other. The scene is set for the book to take off. Grab your seats.
Kiara Blakely out did herself on this book. It is a second chance romance that is full of suspense, twist and turns, demons from the past, lust, Sexy scenes, and love. Kiara rounds out her characters to interact to each other. The plot is seriously built to a dramatic end. She shows how children are affected by the actions of their parents.
I am in awe of this book and I suggest everyone read this one! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This is my first time reading a book by Author Angela Blake, but it certainly won't be the last!

Angela is a new to me Author and even though "The Virgin Contract" is a short story, it is really good.
I read it straight through and loved how Dean and Alexa are pretty much Infatuated with one another!
Those two and their explosive chemistry is something else. You don't want to get too close to them because not only are their s€x scenes scorching-hot, but the fire they light will burn you just from close proximity. There is mild BDSM, but it doesn't detract from the story, just makes it hotter and a little bit naughtier.

I recommend you check out this short, steamy story for yourself, you won't be disappointed! Just have ice c9ld water handy and maybe a fan and you'll be all set!

This was a cute and short read. Both characters have been hurt in the past and it takes them being together to heal themselves and one another. Their stories are a bit different than the ones we usually see which is refreshing. I'm voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Alexa ended up in a brothel of sorts, but the madame refuses to settle for just anyone for her, but when Dean comes along, she agrees to the time he's selected. Dean had been attending the facility for a while, but never found anyone that peaked his interest the way that Alexa does. He decides to take her and there's a major connection between them that he can't refuse. He never expected to fall for her and run when things get to close. But when he returns, she's already left him for the place he doesn't want to see her at again. Exotic Paradise.

This is a very quick fast paced read full of emotion. Alexa has been abandoned by her family without being given a chance to explain what really happens. While living on the streets with nothing does Madam Teresa find her and brings her home to be trained to be sold as a sex slave along with her virginity to a wealthy man. They have a special relationship and she waits for a special man for Alexa. Enter the mystery wealthy Dean who has very particular taste and not one to buy just any woman. Come to find out Dean has a dark past and once he agrees to buy Alexa they realize what's going on between them is more. This wish this relationship had more details between the start and end of the 3 months contract. It's an enjoyable read! I voluntarily received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

This is the first book I have read by Angela Blake I can say that she had a good story it just went a little fast . Alexis is a girl that is out on the streets because her parents threw her out. she finds shelter with a madam the only thing she has to do in return is sell her self. Dean a guy who every girl wants ,but there is a type he is looking for and when he sees Alexis on stage he believes he found it. This story is about two misguided souls that can't find themselves until they met each other. This book was a good read the only thing I didn't like is the fact that Alexis talked in the third person and we did get to hear anything from Dean. I received this book as an arc for a honest review and say that it was a good read .

Super quick read, mostly because it's very short--so short that I read it entirely from the "Look Inside" window (thanks, Amazon, you saved me 99c and a shitload of Kindle space).

The story is a la PRETTY WOMAN, somewhat: (1) a kind hearted, upbeat prostitute who somehow retained her virginity, (2) a jaded billionaire burnt by "love", (3) a little doubt/conflict towards the end and then reconciliation.

Editing issue: please make up your mind on the attire. One minute it's sweatpants, then the next is jeans; but said jeans disappeared in yet the next sentence as the heroine tackled with the boxers! The same with the heroine: she got up from bed, slipped on a robe...the hero unclasped her bra and next her nightie was slipped off?! Where's her robe?

This was my first book by this author and I wasn't that into it. It is a short story and the author does give you some information on the main characters - Alexa and Dean it left me wanting a little more. There were spurts of background information but too little. She did a great job in giving a full character description of Madame Teresa.
I think because it was short that things were a bit bit rushed - their relationship started and three months ended within a few pages - and I think it ended a little quickly.
I will read something else by this author..

Alexa and Dean make for an interesting couple. He is wealthy and never really satisfied with the women offered to him. Alexa is trying to survive and offers her virginity for the right money. They are drawn together in this short read.

The author has created some interesting characters. Dean has a lot of darkness he is dealing with but Alexa really appeals to him. Alexa is not a victim and has a strength. There is BDSM but it is not violent.

I do wish we had more time with them so we could see their relationship really grow. It skips forward in time without showing some important parts of their time together.

While the premise of the story is good, it just never really comes together that well. The book is short--only 9 chapters--but in this particular story, those chapters needed more substance. It was sort of like reading an outline or following a storyboard...had good info but still needed to be fully developed. Perhaps the author will write an extended epilogue to flesh out the "rest of the story." One can but hope...

Alexa and Dean Withers are two lost souls. Alexa is a virgin who has been thrown out of her home by her parents and makes her way to Madam Teresa's. Dean is a billionaire who comes to the club often but no one has ever caught his eye until Alexa. He ends up purchasing the contract for three months with Alexa and her virginity. No spoiler here but Alexa is a spit fire and no push over. Dean has some dark spots. Lots of drama, hot sexy scenes, mild BSDM and twists. Oh did I say an HEA, I received an arc copy and voluntarily chose to review this book.

I really do not know what to write.
This story started off a little slow for me. I didn't connect with or like either of the main characters much. It took forever to get in to the book and then I just kept reading because I'm committed like that.
There are some really good parts in this book, it has potential but some character in this just irritated me. But i thought the story was good and the ending wasn't bad but it just didn't grab me.

Alexa was a young innocent woman whose family had turned their back on her due to not believing what happened to her, homeless ,hungry and cold Madame Teresa found her. When she was ready she would enter a three month contract with the highest bidder to sell her virginity and they would both be happy. Dean Withers a very wealthy handsome man who had been to the auction's several times but always left alone. This story is a little dark but as you read you will understand this story of two people who had been hurt deeply but find that there is such a thing as true love........

I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review. This is a second chance romance about two strong, yet very different types of people. It's got drama and some twists but I still found the attraction a little off. The story is told in a way that allowed me to overlook or at least not dwell on that issue. 3.75 stars for me.

Good, steamy, quick read.

Interesting characters with great chemistry. Hot sexy times with some light BDSM. Short novella with a quick moving, insta-lust story line that changes into a sweet insta-love story.

I would have loved to read an epilogue to sneak a peek into their future, but that's just a personal preference of mine. :)

The Virgin's Contract was a quick and steamy read. The storyline and characters quickly grab your attention and keep it until the very last page. From the moment Dean and Alexa meet they are attracted to each other. The chemistry between them is hot and there is some light BDSM. Definitely a quick and enjoyable Sunday afternoon read! This is the first story I've read by Angela Blake. I was disappointed. The story is short which normally isn't an issue with me; however, essential parts of the plot was left out. You couldn't connect with the characters. More details would have made this a better story...

Lexie and Dean is really good together. Both have a bad past, but the handle it differently. At the end they trust in each other.
I will keep on reading Angela Blake - she's really good in describing feelings.

This was a pretty good story but I wish that it was a bit longer to give more details and info on both Alexa & Dean's pasts. Expanding on that might have drawn me into their story more than I did.
