Wow, this book was all over the place. Even more so than the previous books, perhaps?
I do not have the patience to shred the book in written words as I did in my thoughts while I read it. Suffice it to say that the plot was not tied together by a progressive thread, the characters were as dry, dusty, and stiff as cardboard, nearly everything was told instead of shown, and individual plot threads were left hanging here, there, and everywhere.
Oh, and Dianne was more irritating and grating than a screech-owl's talons on a chalkboard.
But if you can get past all that, I'm sure you'll enjoy traveling at the speed of light through the 1870s and 1880s. Montana is pretty country, I guess?
