Great Collection

How can I tell you about this book? Psychics do you believe? This is not that kind of book! It's better with twist and turn you think you can predict but you will be wrong. The books starts slow and you think just another kidnapping but as characters emerge you cannot figure out the actual game plan. Half truths rule the day and trust is out the door. By then of the book you just know there is more to be revealed. Ghost, technology past and future, alien or other things yet to be revealed. Who has the most mysterious past? Keep reading to find the answers.

Book 2: Forever Mortal Reconciling the Past to Have a Future
Ms. Leo has hit another book right out of the park. I am so caught up in these storylines it is hard to put the books down. The stories are interwoven between each series so smoothly you will be anious to read the next book.

Ciaran will need to face the actions of his past and lay to rest the quilt the accompanies it. He will need to learn that he cannot control/protect everyone he is not GOD! Forgiveness does he have it in him and to give to others. The number 33 will impact his life and bring about a earth-shattering change. Is he ready for it.

Madeline knows little about her past but she was warned the the number 33 would impact her life. Is she ready? As much as she loves Ciaran she is still keeping secrets from him and this will have a great impact on their relationship. The few people she has trusted have been harmed or will do harm to her relationship with Ciaran will she have to choose?

At this point in the book we are introduced to the "people" wantint to proctect Ciarian the the group that protect "Madeline" maybe I should call them factions.

These two groups are not friends and they have their own agenda and don't care who gets hurt in order to further their own causes.

Really if you enjoy a book with a steady pace, well written characters that give you something new with each book, then start reading D. N. Leo's series and you cannot go wrong.

Book 3: Elusive Beings The past can no longer be denied

Man o man this series just keeps on giving. It is a must read on my list of authors to totally in enjoy. Ms. Leo just keeps the stories coming and they have been well written from series to series. One of the biggest appeals is that her characters cross over from book to book and they are kept fresh and interesting without the same story line being overly repeated in each book. Each series has it own set of main character and their story if from their point of view with the others providing background substance from their own storyline.

In this book Ciaran and Maddie are the main focus with Tadgh and Jo along for the ride. The book's main focus understanding why Ciaran and Madeline are so important along with how Ciaran's formulas are used by the alien races.

Juliette and Madeline's grandfather make a reappearance in this book bringing mayhem to earth. Juliette is out of control and no one can top her but Ciaran. He of course carries so much guilt he refused to do so.

The book gives you more on Madeline's background but she still cannot be truthful to Ciaran. She expects him to tell her the truth but she will lie in order to protect him from her true self. When will she learn that her lies cause more problems for him in the long run.

If you like aliens, witches, magic, science, video games and math all mixed together this series will keep you interested.

Book 4: Imperfect Divine Received this book for an honest Review.
I don’t know how much I can rave about Ms. Leo but she totally rocks this series called “A Shade of Mind”. The series consist at this time of the review 4 books that contain a storyline that you don’t want to put down. To help you understand that she currently has 2 other series that entwine the character so you don’t run out of reading material I do suggest that you read them in order to keep you on the correct story path.
You will continue to read about Ciaran, Madeline, Tadgh, Jo and be formally introduced to Zach who is a minor character from Maddie and Jo’s past. Zach now comes to the forefront of the story as he becomes a major player. Change has also come Tadgh and he will now have a special place in Eudzai.
If you like your stories with a little Sci-Fi, gamer knowledge, dimension travel, dimension crossed lovers, kings and queens, plain old treachery, creatures and maybe zombies, a little possession then you will love these books.

Book 5: Queen and Knight (Queens Gambit) To Be or Not To Be
It is not often that I rate books 5 star as most book are really good but the two series by Ms. Leo Shade of Mind and Spectrum have kept me so thoroughly entertained I could not rate them lower.

Queen's Gambit takes place after Imperfect Divine when Madeline and Ciaran are headed to Eudaiz for their coronation as Sphil 1 and King. The story is focused on Madeline for the most part even though it seem more about killing Ciaran. Truthfully, as they make their way to Madeline's tower they enter act with the citizens of Eudaiz and the outer lands. People will be killed because of their passage across Eudaiz. If you remember there were actions chosen in the test of the Daimion gate that would have future repercussions that could not be changed those choices are now happening.

The books are hard to put down so much so that I have stayed awake until 3 am to finish one. You get caught up in the magic, technology, dimension travel and the revenge plot that time has almost no meaning until you are done and cannot wait for the next book.

Knight Pawn Saving the Twins
Book two of the Mindscape series is another winner for Ms Leo.

The story again centers on Ciaran, Madeline, and Tadgh. Madeline and the babies are in trouble and Ciaran is trying to find a way to save them all. It is also time for Tadgh to be confirmed as Sciphil 7.

It seems like the cosmos is out to keep the Leblanc family from fulfilling their roles in Eudaiz. Kyle is so focused on making the members of the LeBlanc family suffer preferably die but his master has other plans.

The Mindscape series is just as riveting as “Shades of Mind” and “Spectrum series. You cannot go wrong with any of these books.
Book 6: Castle and Bishops (Lone Castle Who Is Lyla)
Lone Castle
We enter the multi-verse starring Ciaran and Madeleine my favorite characters. The story starts after the Twins have been put their pods to continue growing in the Daimon Gate. Ciaran and Madeline are back in Eudaiz. Someone is still trying to kidnap the children and they have no idea who. Moira is still in the Daimon Gate waiting for Ciaran to live up to his part of their bargain. Jennifer is suppose to be keeping an eye on the twins while their parents cannot be there.

As a distraction Ciaran's father gets abducted and Ciaran goes on a hunt to try and find him.

It seems like everyone wants something from Ciaran from Moira his great great grandmother to Sizx he does not get a moment of peace.

He has been keeping secrets from his wife as it is taking a toll on their marriage. Madeline has seen the name Lyla in her husband's thoughts so whenever she questions in he tries to redirect her or not answer her question and Madeleine is getting sick of being put off. Moira has re-poisoned him because she felt like he did not live up to their deal. Maddie makes a deal with her to get the antidote little does she know her pigheaded husband does not take it before setting off to find his father.

Sizx made it known to him she would like him to make love to her. I haven't figured out what she's all about and why is she so fixated on Ciaran I just know that Maddie doesn't trust her.

He struggles with his ability to make the right choices for the citizens of Eudaiz and earth and other dimensions he knows that choices he makes have far reaching effects.

Another creature is after something in Ciaran’s memory and it has to do with Lyla and he is determined not to give up that secret not even to his wife. He is ambushed and mentally tortured until such time he tells the secret knowing that he possibly has caused harm. The mind rape has left him with a blank mind. Of course does not tell anyone how he's been affected and he tries to help Jo with her appointment as Sciphil 4 it goes badly.

Ms. Leo has had another hit with Virgo Silver Blood this story was well worth reading

Book 7: King's Endgame One Too Many Kings
If you have read the reviews from prior book of D N Leo and seen my reviews you will no that I am a super fan of the is multiverse series of books. Each book in the respective collections has been an adventure in reading and if you like your books with characters that have a continuing storyline then this series will appeal to you.

Ms. Leo keeps her characters storyline crisp and clear. You will not find the same bits of story reapted in each book verbatim but with a different perspective based on the main character of that book.

In King's Endgame you are brought back to the main characters of Ciaran, Madeline, Tagdh, Jo and the minor characters of Ciaran's parents, grandmother and arch villian Hoyt. Introducing the new players and hopeful new cast of characters Caedmon and Lyla the children of the new king of Eudaiz.

It is now time for Ciarian coronation and the planets are aligned for mischief. Ciaran cannot get a break without some kind of castrophe occuring and disrupting his well laid plans. The people of Eudaiz are under attack just before the coronation. Ciaran will have to make some tough choices in the face of terror on his citizens. Can he stop thinking like a human and act with disregard for life? Can he sacrifice lives for the greater good? Can he direct the Eudaiz citizens to fight? These are some of the questions he will need to answer before being crowned king?

There are surprises in store for Hoyt, Moira and Gaia.

In order to get the best reading please start the series with the Shades of Mind series, then Mindscape, Spectrum and Silverblood. You will have the best reading experience in the multiverse. This is the best series of book I have read that each book is complete but the story continues to flow smoothly in to the next book without it being a "serial" that I have come across.

This series of books will appeal to the reader that likes a sci-fi twist, future technology, mutations (not the super creepy king), age supression, sorcery, time manipulation, robotics, and reanimations (maybe)

I have voluntarily read and reviewed this advance copy without obligation to do so.

I wanted to like the story, and at points I was drawn in, but something is missing and I don't know exactly what. I just know that it felt flat somehow and I frequently disengaged from the story or characters. With too many other books waiting to be read, I easily decided to drop the book and move on, and I don't usually abandon stories.

After 2 hours, I gave up. There is no plot! Book One starts with the heroine running around England to help a friend threatened with rape while held hostage over a online game. The encounters with ancient Roman soldiers, aliens, thwarted love, and a super rich family that is completely ineffectual feels like a high school writing project.
