I do get emails asking if my tea cosies can be turned into toys, and I thought this tea cosy would be lovely as a toy, so it comes as a toy pattern as well as a tea cosy pattern. When you buy the Unicorn Tea Cosy knitting pattern, you will also receive the instructions to make the unicorn toy completely free of charge. The toy requires a slightly less quantity of white and Marriner Sparkle DK wool. (Toy L 30cm & W 10.5cm & H 23cm)
What you will need to make the pattern
5.5 mm, UK size 5 or US size 9 knitting needles,
4.00 mm, UK size 8 or US size 6 Knitting needles,
4.50 mm, UK size 7 or US size 7 Knitting needles,
3.25 mm, UK size 10 or US size 3 Knitting needles,
62g white double knitting wool,
50g Marriner Sparkle DK white knitting wool,
27g Stylecraft Merry Go Round Rainbow,
7g Twilleys of Stamford Goldfingering gold,
1 pair of glitter sparkle blue safety eyes,
A pair of false eyelashes,
A Cotton bud,
UHU Glue,
Stuffing.
