Welcome back for the tenth installment of the Jill Hunter Short Story Series. Each story in the Jill Hunter Short Story Series is a quick read taking the average person about an hour to finish (they're each about 10,000 words). But, what it lacks in length it makes up for in fast-paced thrills. The A Jill Hunter Short #10 Jill Hunter arrives at her office to find a message from a potential new client who wants her help in bringing her daughter’s rapist to justice. Confused as to why the police aren’t involved, she calls the woman and they talk. When Jill finds out the girl’s age, she can’t refuse, no matter what the strange circumstances are. When she finds out exactly where and what the rapist is, she feels true fear, but she knows what she has to do. She will stop at nothing. Jill is going undercover. The only question is; will she be coming back out?
So well written. Although it's a short story you can really get the feel of the desperation that happens to anyone who ends up homeless and on the street. I liked the realism the author brings to the story as well as the justice that is found for the victims of a predator.
Loved it! A short coffee break read that is as satisfyingly as your first morning coffee. Going undercover as a homeless person is the only option that Jill has if she wants to bring a young girls rapist to justice. A great little read that will enfold you in the story and have you rooting for her. I got this in a giveaway for a honest review.
Like the rest of Ari Rose's Jill Hunter shorts, The Lost packs a big punch in a small package. Enjoyable reading when you want a light snack instead of a 7 course meal.
A short story that is packed full of action, adventure and keeps you entertained. Very enjoyable. If you have an hour to read, these stories are for you.
Jill takes on a rapist who targets the most vulnerable of society. Once again Ari Rose manages to pack a lot of hard hitting story into a short story. Well worth reading.
