There’s no other woman on the face of the earth who affects Rhett Calder like Violet Driscoll does.
One look and he was enchanted.
One touch and he was lost.
One taste and he was hers.
It took one second for her to steal his breath.
One minute for her to rule his body.
One hour for her to capture his heart.
Violet was Rhett’s obsession. She was his for the teaching.
His for the Teaching is part of the Love at First Sight Series. Each story is a standalone romance with a touch of tenderness, a smattering of smut and a happily-ever-after ending. So if you’re ready to fall in love fast and pant furiously, grab your e-reader, hold on tight, and let’s get this party started!
I simply adored this little novel and ate it up within a few hours. A fast paced, heart pounding forbidden romance that starts off with a bang and doesn't stop all the way up to the end. It's my kind of romance and erotica, a quick and dirty read with substance and enough heart to lock in my attention.
I fell hook line and sinker for the flawed hero. He's got his issues and I have to say that his OCD made him even more adorable. Flawed characters who make questionable choices? It makes for an interesting read. This was very well-written and descriptive with the HEA ending I crave. I'll be sure to read more of this author as I LOVE her style. Give this one a go. It's lots of fun! 5 dirty breathtaking stars!
First. This started pretty good. I was digging the inter the top crazy and insta love feel. And then it took a turn. I hated the way OCD was talked about and how it was dealt with. If your going to touch on a disorder like this. Handle it with a little more realism. I just couldn’t get past that.
Violet Driscoll was dealt a crappy hand in life. Her all American family goes to hell in a handbag with the death of her beloved father. Her picture perfect mother resorts to alcohol following the death of her husband and runs off to Mexico with a random guy, leaving Violet financially insecure and alone to face her senior year in high school. The local town rodeo is the main source of entertainment in this sleepy small town. Violet worked a summer job there and on the last night, she meets the handsome Rhett Calder. Once their eyes meet, sparks fly but they don't exchange numbers. Lo and behold, the first day of school in first period art class, Violet is stunned when she walks into class and sees Rhett, aka 'Mr. Calder' is her art teacher. Ms. Cooper weaves a tale like none I've ever read. The character development is outstanding. Rhett has dark secrets from his past and his best friend Hawk always has his back. I can't reveal any spoilers, but I will tell you that I've read a LOT of books and have never experienced a hero like Rhett Calder. The characters were endearing, the sex was hot! A story about two imperfect souls, by society's standards looking for unconditional love and acceptance. Will these two beat the odds and find their happy ever after?
Violet Driscoll is a determined, independent young lady. Like she has a choice. Life has dealt her a rough hand, but she's making the best of it. When she meets Rhett Calder, her existence is forever changed. But circumstances and the interference of others put their budding relationship in jeopardy. Plus, Rhett is harboring a few secrets. Can they overcome the odds? Of course they can, and I LOVE a happily-ever-after ending, which is why I give this book 5 BIG STARS. Don't miss His for the Teaching.
I didn't not enjoy this. I am not sure why I keep downloaded Lynn coppers books. Her style is it for me. First the girl on the cover is WAY older than 18, then to have her teacher be her love. I don't know it's just not my taste. But the weird thing is the epilogue with her dead dad reappearing.
