King of Rock
A great first book to a new and exciting series!!! Beau is a lion prince and a rock star, his older brother is the heir and rules their island of lion shifters while Beau tours on the mainland bringing in money from his stardom. Beau gets called home because the oracles have chosen him out of his brothers to mate next. The oracles revel the true mates of the royal family to them one at a time and they must convince that person to mate with them in order for their family to remain in power. Stacy does not care one bit for the royal family, the only reason she is going to Beau Hunt's concert is because she got mysteriously delivered VIP tickets in her name and she hopes to convince him to participate in the bachelors auction and donate to the charity that she works for. They agree to a deal, Beau will donate one million dollars and participate in the bachelors auction for her charity if she agrees to move in with him and give him a week to convince her to mate with him. Long buried memories, secrets and burgeoning emotions take center stage as they try to find their footing against feelings that are deeper and stronger then either of them anticipated. This story was pretty fast paced, I was a little confused as to where Hercules fit in but my question was answered near the end.

This is a fantastic addition to this series, Cain is definitely my favorite so far! Cain is a sexy, dangerous, alpha lion shifter and the middle brother of the ruling royal family on Pride Island. He is known on the mainland for his dangerous stunts and races on his motorcycle and is famous for them. He is chosen next by the oracle to be given the name of his fated mate, who he has to convince to take him on as a mate or his family can no longer rule their people. Brenna was Cain's childhood friend that he left behind, after his father was killed, without a word, now he's back and he wants her for his mate? Nope, she doesn't think so, he broke her heart once and she won't allow herself down that path again. Brenna is being harassed by a sleezy older man, Barker, who wants to take her as his mate because he think she owes him since he paid off all her deceased grandfathers debt. Barker's harassment is getting more threatening and Brenna is in more danger then ever. While Brenna tells herself she doesn't want Cain around, she feels safe and attracted to him and she agrees to start over as friends and to see where that takes them. Cain had a lot more hidden depth then I gave him credit for in the first book and it was great to read about. I loved that Brenna didn't just let him do what he wanted and made him fight for it, they both had some healing to do and they fought and healed together.

My favorite of the three brothers!! Axel is under a ton of pressure and he has yet to get the name of his fated mated mate from the oracle and without it, he can't take his place as King. He also has a new sexy secretary that he can't help but be seriously attracted to, but he can't get involved with her since the oracle should be picking his mate at any time. Lucy has the hots for her sexy, stressed out boss but knows that he's not for her and even if he was, she's not in the market for a mate, so she proposes a deal; a fake relationship so Axel can practice his wooing for when the oracle announces his fated mate and Lucy will have the memories of them being together, which is all she wants. From the start their fake dating is too intense and their feelings are too deep to be considered fake, but neither of them are strong enough to walk away. I loved seeing Axel's goofy side and that he trusted Lucy enough to relax and be himself in her presence. Lucy was a fantastic counterpart and I loved how she wouldn't let Axel get himself too stressed out.

I started reading Terry's series with the dragons, and since there are a lot of references to the Lions I thought is was concurrent, or maybe after the dragons, but it turns out it was before. The sad part is that I thought it would clarify some things, but it didn't, it just mentions conflicts and problems, but never explains about them or anything, I wanted to know more about the politics of the shifter world, but I never got the explanation I wanted. Still, it was a good series, even if it was weird and mostly predictable, it's about the three ruling Lions and what they have to do to remain in powers, which is to find a mate, for some reason. I think I will never understand the oracle.

The first book is about the middle prince, Beau, who is also a rock star, because for some reason it's important for them to be a public image, even if no one is supposed to know that he is a shifter. So the oracle tells him he needs to mate a girl he once met, Stacy, but the fact that she hates the royal family makes things complicated for them. Still, they are attracted to each other, and after clearing a few misunderstandings, they end up together, as is expected.
I liked the characters, but I don't exactly get why they couldn't clear the air from the beginning, some of their secrets felt unnecessary, but I think it may be to make things more interesting for the story, even if it felt a little silly.
Prince of Fate
Cain and Brenna used to be childhood friends, until Cain's father died and he decided to become an adrenaline junkie, now the oracle decided they are mates, and Cain goes to find her, but after being abandoned for years, she is not very receptive to his return. Since they knew and liked each other, maybe even loved, their relationship seems to be an easy one, but nothing is ever easy. I didn't like Cain's character because he was very selfish, but at the end he did the right thing and he makes Brenna happy, so I suppose it's a happy ending.

This book was full of contradictions and a lot of things that didn't make sense in how things worked. At the end it started to become obvious what the oracle's plans were, even if I suspected from the beginning what she was doing. I never quite understood what the deal with the oracle was or how the Island's government worked, and I would have liked to get to know more about it.
I liked the character that was introduced at the end, who is one of the characters in the other series by the same author. And in a way I have to say that I liked the ending, with Axel finally showing who he is and what's capable of, but at the same time I don't get much of what happened, I felt like there was something missing.

Good series
It was good to finally read about the leaders of the shifter world!! The fight between Axel and Issac was intense and I guess used to show why the Lions are the rulers. All 3 books were good, my favorite was Cain's as it had the least amount of drama, secrets, and assumptions between the leads! All around good storylines, would like to know more about Hercules and Hera and how he's a half brother!!!

I liked the story of Beau Hunt, lion Prince and rich star. He has always known that the Oracle would choose his mate and he is ok with that. Especially when he finds out that Stacy Anderson is to be his mate. He thinks it is a slam dunk, but he didn't figures in Stacy's hostility towards lion royalty in general and his family in particular. He and Stacy have a history, though it was long ago and very brief. He is pretty sure she doesn't know know out was him that rescued her that night long ago, and he is not about to bring up the event for more than one reason. If she wants to know the family secrets she will have to agree to the mating.
Stacy does not know why she suddenly got tickets to a Beau Hunt concert. She likes his music, but she has no desire to meet him. She knows who he is to the people of Pride Island and she does not have good memories of that place or his family. She agrees to attend the concert in the hopes of convincing him to be a part of a charity auction. That is where she gets the news that the Oracle has chosen her to be his mate. Oh heck no. But then he blackmails her into spending a week with him if she wants him to be in the auction, plus he'll give her a million dollars for her favorite charity. She can't pass up the offer, unfortunately her lioness wants more from Beau then money and she finds herself falling for him. But can she just forget the past and what his family did to her?

She decides she will take the chance for a little happiness and good loving while it lasts. But she finds herself falling more and more for this man, could she actually be his mate.
The Oracle has something up her sleeve. She also has a strange collared dragon hanging around with her. What's up with that?

Lions of Pride Island is a collection with three books. I read each title individually
King of Rock: Who wouldn't want to be matched to a rock star and a prince? Stacy that's who. Beau is a pure lion shifter prince who spends his time as a rock star to gain influence in the human world. As a member of the royal family, he knows the oracle will pick his mate. He was happy when the oracle showed him his mate was Stacy, a part lion shift he knew from childhood. Beau thinks it will be easy to convince Stacy to mate with him and sends her tickets to his next concert.
Stacy is a much tougher match than he expects. She has strong prejudices againt royality and wants nothing to do with Beau. Beau has to bribe her into giving him a chance.
Prince of Fate: Cain is a lion shifter prince who loves to take risks as a stuntman and a racer. He has known that the oracle will choose his mate for him and he is happily surprised when his childhood friend is named. Breanna and Cain were very close friends before his father died. In his grief he leaves their island behind and his bad memories. Breanna felt abandoned and refuses to trust Cain again. She was very angry when he appears on her doorstep like nothing ever happened. She wants to refuse to be his mate however she has another male who is demanding to be her mate and won't take no for answer. Cain saves her from the other man's advances and offers to help keep her safe.

Lucy thinks he should practice dating her to get experience and Axel agrees. Axel really pushes himself out of his comfort zone to date Lucy and starts to have fun. He develops feelings for Lucy and his lion is saying mate. He is torn between his strong feelings for Lucy and his duties as royalty. Lucy is also falling in love but she knows Axel can never marry her. Then the oracle calls....

This box set contains all three of the Hunt brothers stories. I loved that I could read them all in one place. This is also the pre curser to the Awakening Dragons series. The Oracle is at work again matching her shifters. The lion princes are not aloud to choose their own mates. They are at the mercy of the Oracle choosing for them. All three must claim their mates or the rule will fall to someone else. The following are snipets of the stories.
King of Rock: Is Beau and Stacy's story. Beau is the middle brother and a famous rock star. He is also the first to be told who is mate is. Stacy has know desire to return to the island ,or have anything to do with royalty. This is not looking well for their mated future. Amazing Series!

Prince of Fate: Fun and sweet romance with an edge of danger. It is now Cain's turn to mate, he is very happy since the oracle has chosen someone he knows, but has not seen in years. The last thing Brenna expected was to see Cain on her doorstep, years after he disappeared, and telling her she is his chosen mate! Like H*** she is going to mate him! But with a crazy stalker after her she is not left with much choice than to go to Cain for help. Can Cain convince her to be his, not to save the country, but because they love each other, or will ghosts from their past prevent them from being happy together? I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Protector of the Pride: Wonderful conclusion to the series, full of romance, passion, loved, and learning that sometimes you need to stand up for what you want. Book 1 - King of Rock - Stacey had a harsh childhood on pride island. So she left never looking back and hating the royal lion family. Beau is a prince. Also a famous rock star. So when the Oracle comes to him and tells him Stacey is his mate, he is proud. He wonders if she remembers him from their childhood. So when they meet Beau is upset that Stacey is appalled by him. When she asks him to help with a children's charity he jumps at it on one condition. She has to live with him for a week. Can these two survive a week and have Stacey as his mate? Or can she truly remember her past and not blame the royal family. Great read.
Book 2 - Prince of Fate - Cain is a daredevil. He loves racing his bikes. When the Oracle tells him who his mate is, he's excited, yet, scared. He hasn't seen Breanna since his father's death so long ago. Can he make Breanna see that he's her mate? Breanna is taking care of her grandma Bee. So when Cain comes to town, she wonders why. When he explains she is his mate she's worried. Will he choose his daredevil career over her? She wants a mate for life. Not one who could die being careless. Can these two open up to each other, and find a common ground? Great book. Need to read.

Totally love how Beaus story unfolded! It drew me in right off the bat and just remained sheer joy throughout the book! The characters came to life flawlessly! The journey to win his mates heart kept me from putting this book down! A sure fire must read!

Loved it
I love romance, shifters are just more interesting. They're like regular people but with something extra. This box set was great, I love lions. Is there really a such thing as fated mates? They believe it is, they will do whatever is necessary to insure the safety of their mates. I like how all three princes are so different but compliment each other's style. They are a family that has each other's back no matter the situation. In order for their family to remain in power, they must convince the women the oracle picks for them to mate them. The only catch, the can't themselves on the women. It's great that they all fit together perfectly. They all to work hard to impress their future mates and it's funny how it turns out. This book has a little of everything, courting, fighting and saving their mates, humor at the thing they need to do to win their mates hearts. But most of all the sex. I'm looking for to reading the dragon books, the first dragon is savage and untamed and I wanna see the woman who can tame him.

Fabulous trilogy
Absolutely wonderful stories! Enjoyed all three heroes and their sassy mates who keep them each grounded. Loved all three stories though I must admit the final story perhaps was the best with the eldest brother meeting his match was the more interesting! He was so vulnerable and constantly stressing, Lucy was constantly having to calm him. My two minor gripes sex was rather formulaic ...All three brothers had read the same sex instruction manual. Still hot and steamy!! Finally in the final Epilogue Brenna's name changed to Char!! Twice! This was confusing!! All in all three great, light reads. As usual, Ms. Bolryder, you have created three fabulous stories. I would always recommend your books as they are so appealing!! Thank you!!

All the books were a delight
The stories were great each brother had to find a mate before they
Could become the royalty to the lions. Each mate have them the chase and it was fun to read. The only part I couldn't get pass was the over done sex anyone old enough to buy these books knows what goes on between a man and woman in the bed, so writing about it over and over again gets to be a bit much. I just flip through it to get back to the meat of the story. I wish Amazon would label these books as critical instead of romance so I don't waste my time and money. Such a good writer, I wish she would put more into the story and less into the boating sex scenes.

Another box set, another reason to binge read! The Hunt brothers knew that as the leaders of the shifter world their mates would be chosen for them. The Oracle would make that decision. Hopefully her choices would be ones each brother's lion would agree with. This series tells more about the conflicts going on in the shifter world Ms Bolryder has developed. It also introduces us to the Oracle and the Awakened dragons. I am a big fan of this "world" and all of it's shifter inhabitants.

I loved reading the Lions of Pride Rock get Mates!
When your family is the leaders of all of shifter kind its the oracle job to pick the mates so that Beau,Cain, and Axel Hunt get to stay in power and if they don't forfeit their power to rule and the balance for those who feel they are above humans and other shifters and those who want to keep the balance. In the end each Lion of Pride rock has to go through trials and tribulations to make their mating bond and their relationships stronger.

FAN--tastic
I fell so much for the box sets of Terry's dragons that I read the dragon books over and over before branching out to her other shifter romances. I purchased this series some time ago but just read it. The characters are so well crafted and there is such attention to details that makes me see the people and the places as though are real. The hot love making parts are not bad either--just enough to tickle my 72 year old fancy! I highly recommend it anyone who can believe the possibility

Excellent
I started backwards reading the Awakened Dragons series first. My curiosity piqued with the mention of the Lions of Pride Island mentioned as well as Tribunals and Councils. So I finally got the Lions boxed set and I wasn't disappointed. Not only little bit. With strong male leads and stronger women, the characters grew as the stories unfolded. It was a complete delight to read and the writing was akin to what I was accustomed to from the author.

A fairly good shifter series with the three lions of the royal family of pride island all waiting for their fated mates. They are all three hot alpha male lion shifters all supposedly given their mates by the oracle all they have to do is win them over not such an easy task. Each story has its own ups and downs and a lot of sizzling sex with red hot alpha males. A good romantic shifter series lots of sex, hot alpha males,romance and good fights what's not to like.

Very good series
I was impressed with this series. This box set has 3 stories. Each story is about a brother finding their mate and helping to keep them as a royal family and balance the shifter world and the human world. I would read this box set again ( Beau, Cain, Axel lion shifters). The next box set will continue the story with awaking the dragons. I look forward to reading more.

Good Read
The first two books of this set caught my attention and I was very happy with them. However the last book I struggled with. It was well written and a good story however I struggled with fact that he knew that is mate potentially not be the girl he was dating but took the risk of hurting her anyway. But overall it was a good set of books and the ending of the last book made up for the struggle throughout.

Love lions!
I just started reading some the stories I found after reading the series that followed. I'm really enjoying them. I find Terry Bolryder witty, exciting and sexy! I like the lion characters a lot. I have 2 more complete series sets in my kindle waiting for me! I love kindle unlimited!!! It's so worth it for voracious readers like myself.

Simply Entertaining
I enjoyed reading all 3 books. This was the the first time that I have read books by this author. Very well written. Storyline was ok. I enjoyed the characters and their mate's.
Off to read the continuing saga with the Awaken dragons.

I like the lions as much as I like the dragons. If you have read more by this author you will understand. You don't have to read it before the dragon books but you certainly can as it takes place first.

Grrrowly good
Sappy cheesy lovely. The trifecta of the perfect romance. Add some current angst and a trauma in the past film the perfect story. The only reason it's not getting five stars is because of a couple continuity errors. They're not big, just a pet peeve of mine.
