So I've been working my way through this author's work and I stumble across this title and bought it (all his books are very fairly priced so why wouldn't I) and all I can say if WOW.
What starts off as a quite simple story of second chances (with a very unique take on the whole time travel concept) with some really hot sex - if its one thing this author can do is write a decent sex-scene, and he does it very well, and then the main male protagonist meets Archie and again a scene that shouldn't work (pausing - read it and you'll get it) does work and a bigger story is revealed not only to Michael but to the reader. And from here is where this story becomes a thrilling race to its very bloody denouement and again the author handles the darker scenes very well.
This mixture of sex and violence shouldn't work but boy does it and the novel is such an easy, enjoyable read that I read it through again once I had finished it and I saw links to other novels and characters that made me smile and as a reader I felt that the author has done this so that we as readers feel invested in all his work and I like that, its like being part of an extended family.
The sex scenes are really hot. The underlying message of love, redemption and sacrifice comes through clearly and its obvious that the writer is so much more than just an erotica author and in Michael he has created a character that I instantly fell for, a man out of time and given the chance to save what he once loved so much and in the process to save himself and that of a little girl, a child who has a part to play in a future after the story ends (again read it and you'll understand).
Once again the author has created a strong, intelligent and sexy female character and I really like that this author always avoids the "50 shades of Grey" trap and I love how the author writes sex scenes like they really are: messy, dirty, noisy and most of all fun.
I can't wait to see what comes next (no pun intended) from this author.

2.5 stars - It was an interesting premise that Michael travels back in time and has a chance to right all the mistakes he made in his marriage and his life. A lot of things are never explained and sex btween Michael and his wife with the huge breasts, Beth, fill in the pages as we wait for something interesting to happen. I started skimming over the sexcapades as the descriptions were sometimes clinical instead of arousing.

Another amazing book by Nathan L. Flamank! This book is emotionally gripping. I could go on and on about this book but the most important part of the whole book is about love and forgiveness. If we could all have a second chance to be with a loved one again. The details and vivid words, made me feel like I was right there with the characters. Do yourself a favor and read this book!!

Hmmmmmm....I love the concept. Very original...kind of a cross between The Time Travelers Wife and the Adjustment Bureau. There was only two downsides to this tale, and it was the outcome/resolution was too quick and there was WAY too much sex....and for me to say that...then there must have been an excessive amount because I LOVE SEX!!!!

What can I say? This book is amazing, such an emotional book. I would definitely read it again. This book is full of drama, nothing is straight forward, lots of suspense in the story. Plenty of Love and forgiveness. I love the way that the characters are portrayed throughout the book, you fall well and truly in love with the characters.
We can all hope for a second chance, even more after you read this amazing book.

A beautiful story about not only getting a second chance with your love, but discovering each other for the first time. This story is heart pounding, exhilarating, erotic and makes you beg for more! The love described between Michael and Beth is one that's often strived for, but rarely achieved. The story certainly kicks it up a notch around the middle and will take you on many twists and turns! This is another MUST READ from Mr. Flamank.

This book could have been so much better but the author really needs to get an editor. Most sentences were paragraphs long. Proper English was not used anywhere in this book. The concept and story where really good and the book is intriguing but the horrible grammer turned me off.

Time travel book
I really do not like stereotypes of books. I had a hard time getting through this book, but to be fair if you do like time travel books this was and enjoyable read. Just not my cup of tea.
