I always protect a bro.
I just didn’t count on having to protect his sister too.
Joey and I have been close since childhood.
I have his back and he has mine. Always.
But now he’s in trouble. He’s been arrested for murder and everyone thinks he’s guilty. His sister needs my help.

Jenny's the sweetest little thing I’ve ever seen.
I liked her as a kid and I straight up love her now.
I get hard every single time I see her.
Her very scent makes me throb with desire.

But what about the bro code?
Can I really do what I'm thinking of doing to this little girl?
She's my best friend's sister.

She’s so innocent, and I’m so dirty.
She’s so good, and I’m so bad.

WOW! Umm, wow. This book is so different from Chance Carter's other books. Bad Boy Brother grabbed me for the first page. As I was reading I though it was going in a certain direction and it took a turn that I did not expect. There is so much I want to say about this book but if I do I will be spilling a whole lot of spoilers. This book is a roller coaster ride of emotions. Heartbreak, fear, sadness, joy, acceptance, suspense, and finally love. Jenny mends the fence with her brother, Roy is Jenny's hero, Jenny and Roy solve the who done it. I truly enjoyed reading this book. I recommend this read. Can't wait to see what Mr. Carter brings us ne

This book is far different from Chance Carters other books. It is very heartbreaking, heartfelt and has your emotions on a roller coaster ride. I love reading a book that can captivate me from beginning to the very end, and this one did just that. It also had twists and turns you don't see coming, and it was a thrill to watch it unfold before my eyes. The scenes and pleasure in this book are scorching hot. Not to mention the cover is very swoon worthy. I highly recommend this book, you will not be disappointed.

Another Chance Carter great! A slightly different storyline as there is mystery and intrigue interwoven with a hot sexy romance. Jenny Dale had her own life far away from her childhood hometown. But when her brother meets up with trouble she goes back to find out why. Enter his friend Roy. Former cop looking to clear his friend's name. Sparks fly and the heat between Jenny and Roy burn hot and the sexiness starts. Chance sends out another panty melter so don't miss out!

I received this book in advance for my honest review.

This is my first Chance Carter book, I've heard of him and all the ratings seem to be super great. I wasn't into this book though.

the main character was selfish. She came into custody of her niece and wanted nothing to do with her. She barely had her and already wanted her neighbor to keep the girl. She'd rather rub one off than spend any time. She came into town already knowing her brother was guilty, that didn't feel true to me, I dont care how estranged you are from family, and I am familiar with it, I don't have anything to do with some family, I don't think I would take it at word value that my family went from petty theft, to being a cop, to murder. The whole fire scene could have been taken care of within the first few minutes. The character had zero backbone.

I didn't really feel any chemistry between the two main characters, I ended up skipping the fantasy and sex scenes.

The ending of the whole "mystery" was a letdown, I kept expecting that big twist, but nope, nothing it happened then was over. nothing exciting to it.

I enjoyed reading Bad Boy Brother. I found this book to have more substance than some of the other books I've read. It was hot but also it captivated me with all the nuances in the various relationships. Job well done Chance!

A mystery to solve

Started off feeling sorry for Jenny having to leave her life in NYC to go back home, because her best friend Chloe was killed by her brother Joey and now she was responsible for their daughter Isabelle. Part of her didn't believe her brother could do such a thing, he had always been into some kind of trouble, but murder, no he couldn't. Suddenly things change when a stranger shows up by the name Roy, a good friend of her brothers, who is trying to prove her brothers innocence. With a lot of twist and turns, fires and wine and Chief Cartwright, Jenny and Roy struggle to prove the truth. Loved this story. Definitely a must read!!

This book had me from page one. This was a little different then some of the other Chance Carter books I have read. I enjoyed the mystery behind everything. The damaged to Jenny and Roy kept me reading page after page as fast as I could. Their chemistry was off the charts. The ending was amazing as well as hot. Awesome book.

Disappointing, flat, inconsistent story. Unlikable heroine.

I chose this book for its 4.9 stars on Amazon, but I must have read a different book than everyone else. It was barely 3 stars for me. The blurb isn't even correct; Roy had never even met Jenny so couldn't have liked her as a kid, which is implausible considering he and Joey were best friends and knew each other since childhood. I thought the title might mean she felt like Roy was a brother growing up, but no, title had nothing to do with H or h and it's as if it was just used to check off those subgenre romance boxes. I read voraciously and average 10 books a week but this fairly short book took me 2 full days to finish. I kept putting it down and not wanting to read it because of the frustrating inconsistencies and flat story.

Jenny was a self-centered, childish, judgmental person. She was convinced her brother was guilty from the start, wouldn't even visit him in jail. She spent the first half of the book wanting to get rid of her niece and the child even knew it. Jenny wanted to give her to grandparents that "didn't have important jobs" in New York; Jenny's 'important job' was working for a fashion magazine. When she picked the child up, she took her home to where the crime scene of her mother's death was, and it hadn't even been cleaned up yet.

The timeline was all over the place. Jenny was a high school junior when her parents died, then she was 10. Joey was just over a year younger and he was 8. He started getting into trouble at 8 and made bad decisions for 15 years which would make him 23 now. His 8 year old daughter was born right after he graduated h.s. which would make him 26. Jenny hadn't seen the daughter since a toddler, even though Jenny was at Joey's for Christmas 2 years ago when the girl was 6. Jenny left town 7 years ago and worked at the magazine for 7 years, but at some point she supposedly went to college during which her grandparents died, so she was either 25 or 29. From there to the end, the entire book is contradiction after inconsistency after contradiction. It's as if no one read it before publishing to ensure it even made sense.

The sex/fantasy scenes were over the top, and not in a good way. Most were not the least bit sexy. The first was a crude and graphic fantasy scene where Roy wants to "slap her [butt] as hard as he could" and perform acts that go against standard practices for health/safety (no double dipping). At another time, Jenny has sex with him while he's asleep and is so proud of herself. A sleeping person can't consent and that makes it sexual assault; people have actually been criminally convicted for the exact same thing.

This was the first book I've read by this author and it will likely be my last as well.

Laziest. Editing. Ever.

Man, I really actually hate leaving bad reviews, but the mistakes killed this book. My review is only for Bad Boy Brother and not any of the other books included.

I dont think I have ever seen so many typos in a single book. All kinds. Incorrect keys hit while it was being typed. Missing punctuation. Copy and paste editing gone horribly wrong and resulting in a few nonsensical sentances. And then there are the discrepancies in the details. Big ones, little ones, BASIC ones. So. Many. Discrepancies. It drove me insane. My eye is always drawn to the mistakes on a page in a book, I cant help it, and this book had so very many that I am now officially nuts.

The story wasnt even very realistic and felt phoned in and uninspired. There were a few things that really pissed me off, too. The protagonists have unprotected sex and later the woman is thinking about it, wanting an unprotected repeat. She wonders about an unplanned pregnancy and then "rationalizes" that if she gets knocked up its "gods will". WTF?! I cannot even express how very much that unresponsible and stupid cop out angered me. I hate that attitude. There is also a part where Jenny, the female lead, decides to awaken Roy, the male lead, by sexually stimulating him with the thought it will wake him in moments. The part I hated was when he did not wake up and she decides she likes the idea of forcing an orgasm upon him that he is unaware of and plans to perhaps regularly use him in that fashion without his knowledge. Uh, thats called rape, straight up. That is wrong on every level. Had the roles been reversed and Roy had planned on using Jenny thusly I am assuming more people would have called out the b.s. Hated that part.

In retrospect, there doesnt seem to be much, if anything, I did enjoy about this sub-par story.

Another fantastic read from Chance Carter! Jenny Dale is back in her hometown from the big city after several years. Her best friend has just been murdered by her husband, who is Jenny's brother Joey (the titular Brother) and Jenny has been tasked with caring for their daughter, her niece Isabelle. Jenny is unsure of how well she'll be able to take care of Isabelle because she doesn't know her niece well at all. Jenny has been far removed from her home, family, and friends since leaving and ceasing contact with Joey all those years ago. Joey has been involved in petty crime for most of his life and Jenny was tired of picking up the pieces and didn't want to do it anymore. And when Jenny hears that Joey is the prime (only) suspect in Chloe Dale's killing, she has no doubt in her mind that it's the truth.

However, shortly after her arrival back in town, she meets Roy Peters, Joey's best friend and police partner. Roy is convinced of Joey's innocence and is incensed that Jenny doesn't seem to care what's going to happen to Joey if he's convicted. Roy eventually manages to convince Jenny to at least consider the possibility that her brother might not be responsible for Chloe's death. The two team up to try to find out the truth of who killed Chloe.

This a definite page-turner for sure. I read it in only a few hours. I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. You'll want to pick up a copy yourself and find out just how bad Roy also can be.

I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and am also voluntarily providing a review.

When Jenny Dale gets a phone call calling her back to her home town to take custody of her niece, she knows her life is going to change forever. Her brother has been arrested for killing his wife and Jenny's best friend, Chloe. Joey Dale was always getting in trouble before she left town years ago, why should it be any different now. Except that Joey's kind of trouble was not usually violent, and he always owned up to it. Now she is back where she said she would never return to take care of her 8 year old niece that she hardly knows. When Roy Peters shows up on her doorstep proclaiming Joey's innocence she throws him out. That does not keep her from fantasizing about the handsome man.

Roy knows his friend did not do this. He just needs help finding the evidence to free Joey. When he seeks help from Joey's sister, all he finds is resistance. She has definitely a beauty, but if she is willing to condemn her brother immediately she is not someone he would like to associate with. When he approaches her a second time and gets her to see reason, he finds that he now has an ally. When her life is put in danger and he is the one to save her, he finds them growing closer. As the two work to free her brother and take care of her niece he finds himself falling for her. But her life is in the big city and he could never live there. Will she be willing to stay in a small town with him?

Another great read by Chance Carter. As always, can't wait to see what he does next. Maybe a story about Joey?

Whoa! What a great read by Chance Carter. Chance has show his talent in writing a contemporary romance. He has taken his plot and worked his characters intricately into it.
The character are fluffed out to show their personalities, flaws and all.
Jenny has just received a promotion to editor at the fashion magazine she works for when she receives a phone call that her brother has killed his wife and left his daughter with no living relative but her. She packs a bag and goes back to a town she left behind to go and get her niece. Roy is an ex-military man who worked on the police force with her brother. He swears that her brother is innocent. Jenny and Roy are attracted to each other but have different view on her brother. She remembers a brother who was always in trouble with the law. Will Roy make her change her mind? Will Jenny let go and fall in love with Roy? Grab a drink and a nice cozy place to set and read this book to find out.
The story is filled with suspense, twist and turns, deceit, bullying, blackmail, demons from the past, danger, siblings coming to understand each other, bonding, grief, lust, and love.
I have to hand it to Chance he took the story and added so many feelings. I loved this book and didn’t put it down until I had read it all. I recommend this book for an exciting read. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This book was a little different to Chance’s other stories in terms of emotional rollercoasters and feelings, and although I did enjoy most of it, I didn’t feel connected to the characters and much as I hoped I would be. I loved the storyline and Roy’s determination when he and Jenny first met but a lot of other things fell a little flat for me, Jenny wasn’t my favourite of characters at all but I liked how much she grew in the story towards the end. I liked her and Roy’s interactions, some were very hot and steamy while others were a little emotional, and especially the interactions between Roy and little Isabelle (I thought they were so cute together!).
I was intrigued about the book after reading the blurb so it was a little sad for me that I didn’t love it as much as some of Chance’s other books. The POV’s did switch in the middle of chapters between Roy and Jenny, which did annoy me a little, but I liked having both views at the start of each chapter, I loved getting inside Roy’s head. I felt the ending was over before it really began when the truth was outed but it was still a fairly enjoyable read for me

💘Love Will Bring Us Together

Jenny's brother Joey, has just been arrested and charged with the murder of his wife Chloe. Jenny must take custody of her brother's daughter, Isabelle. Jenny thinks Joey probably did it so she doesn't even want to see him. Joey's best friend, Roy, is sure he was set up, framed by the real murderer.
Jenny moves into Joey's house with Isabelle, and the first 🌙night, Roy shows up and argues with her about Joey's innocence. Roy🐺🍌🌋 is tall, handsome and ripped💪 with gorgeous blue eyes, just the mouth watering hunk of man Jenny💋 would like to wrap herself up in. Instead, she argues and kicks him out.
Roy🐺🍌🌋 is angry, because she won't listen to him, but he daydreams about punishing her with his huge Johnson🍌 while he spanks✋ her. Some punishment! YEHAW!
Ride em Bareback🍌, Cowgirl!🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎

This is a well written murder mystery with some arson,🔥 fights,💪 shootings,🔫 etc., thrown in by the bad guy👹 to try to throw Roy and Jenny off his 👣trail. Lots of xxx scenes written from a man's pov, as only Chance Carter can. Highly recommend this book because it actually has a story and a plot!

When Jenny gets the promotion at work she can't wait to go home and relax but when an officer calls to tell her that her brother is in jail for murder and she has to come get the niece she has never really seen she is shot. Jenny's brother Joey has been in and out of trouble his whole life but she thought once he married her best friend Chloe and became a police officer he would be better but now they claimed he killed his wife. Jenny reluctantly goes back to the town she couldn't wait to get out of and is met with a lot of hostility especially from the police chief. When she is trying to figure out what to do with Isabelle she is interrupted by Roy a friend of Joeys who claims he is innocent and even though she believes the worse of her brother something about Roy calls to her. What she doesn't realize is someone wants her to leave without investigating and they will stop at nothing to see that Joey goes to jail.
Great story and I loved how take charge Roy is and brave that Jenny is.

Shortly after getting the opportunity of her career, Jenny Dale gets a call that her brother, Joey, is in jail for murdering his wife, Jenny’s best friend, Chloe. Jenny is the only relative able to care for her niece and she reluctantly heads to her hometown, knowing in her heart that her big break was in jeopardy.
Roy Parker, Joey’s best friend is convinced of his innocence and he is on a mission to find evidence to clear his friend. Did I mention Roy is hot, hot, hot and attracted to Jenny? At first, it’s easier for Jenny to believe her brother is guilty based on his past. But circumstances, and Roy’s persistence, finally convince her to look at things more closely.

I was sucked into the story from the start and didn’t want to put it down! I wondered if the transition from attraction to love between Jenny and Roy was a bit quick, but I still really enjoyed the book. I can’t wait to see what’s next from this talented author.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review of this book - I enjoyed it so much that I purchased a copy once it was available.

Chance Carter has done it again in "Bad Boy Brother". Jenny, who left her small town as soon as she was able, must come back to town. Her brother has been arrested for the murder of his wife. She comes back to take care of her niece and meets up with Joey, the ex cop and her brother's best friend. They find themselves working on uncovering the truth behind the murder her brother is accused of. The story is fast paced and well written, with a flow that gives the reader a sense that they are looking in as it takes place. Murder, bad cops, drama, intrigue, love, a sexy hot story between Jenny and Joey, it has everything a reader wants in a romantic suspense story. This is probably my favorite book by Chance. Beautifully done, it has that ahhh factor when Joey and Jenny finally get their HEA. I would like to thank the author for gifting me with "Bad Boy Brother". My opinion is my own. This is mine 4.75 Stars!

What can I say Chance Carter did it again. Joey Dale is being charge in murdering his wife. He has a little and the only person who can take care of her is his sister Jenny. Jenny have everything she wanted no kids living in the big city of NYC and a editor job, until that dreadful phone call come in and she has to go to the town that she hated for years ombrea. Jenny doesn't know what to do with the kid Jenny was never really close to her brother cause he always getting into to trouble. Roy is Dale friend and trying to convince anybody to believe that Joey didn't kill his wife. He goes and talk to Jenny and she just brush him off because she knows how her brother can be.
Can Roy actually change Jenny mind about her brother being innocent?
Will Roy and Jenny ever see eye to eye when it come to Dale?
Will they ever find out who the real killer is?
We'll you have to read it!!!! Enjoy this book very much❤❤

Loved it

Bad Boy Brother is a fast paced, steamy, light, romantic thriller. Jenny gets a call that her best friend is dead, her estranged brother responsible and her niece needing her care. Not for a minute did Jenny doubt her brothers quilt until Roy. Her brothers friend and former partner on the force.

Roy knows Joey is innocent. Rummer had his wife having an affair. Joey would have never hurt her. He sister is convinced of his guilt. He has to change her mind. He needs her help to prove Joey's innocence. Now Jenny is a target. He is just the man to keep her safe . Loved Roy and Jenny's story. Great epilogue, steamy and sweet.

The inclusion of three additional books, Reverse Cowgirl, Fire and Ice, Wet, is a nice bonus. If you are new to Chance's books this is a great place to start.

Ok I honestly tried to read this, I really did but by the time I got to Chapter 5. I was done.

I get it, some of us have siblings we all cant stand. But when your brother who has turned his life around and is a police officer is charged with murdering his wife, who is your best friend and you side automatically with the chief of police and just assume they have done their job and your brother is guilty. That does not fly with me. Especially when you are now the guardian of their child. Wouldn't you want to at least question why? The main Heroine has no back bone and is very into herself. At least this is what I got from the chapters I read. I did not finish the book.

Make your own judgement. I have read other stories from this author and I will read the author again. Just this book was not for me.
