Enjoyed it!

This is the true story of a man the author knew, a rendition of someone with a mental illness and what it feels like to be “insane.” There were some great analogies to feeling like you’re a freak and why you’d feel that way, as well as some advice for those who might be feeling the same way. It’s a very quick read at just 5,000 words. I think it’ll stick with me for a while.

Insightful and hope -filled

This was a quick-read which I enjoyed. I would have liked to have known more about Mr. Anonymous and the gruelling days that brought him to his previous, unhappy state. His story will remain sealed as he has no wish to revisit the past. I completely understand though.

I was curious about the title, so decided to download it. It's an unusual style of book, and delves deep into the mind and as the title says... what it;s like to be insane.
Uncomfortable at times, dealing with emotions & personal feelings.. but found it interesting , gritty and honest.
