The old along with the new
Not serial killers this time, but get ready for some truly shocking crimes. It makes you shake your head in amazement at man's inhumanity to man.
A few of these cases may be familiar to you, but some of the older cases are fascinating, such as the preacher who couldn't resist proposing to young women so that at all times he had two or three fiancees. Needless to say, this caused him a lot of problems.

Intriguing and compelling tales of murder and mayhem
Another excellent volume in this series. Keller is currently the best of the true crime writers who specialize in smaller vignettes. He introduces all of the facts necessary to fully understand the crimes and the criminals and keeps the flow of the individual stories at high tide. These are compelling tales and each volume seems to get better.
