I absolutely loved this series! Finished the whole series in a week! It was a cute story, quick read and has really enjoyable characters.... It doesn't focus only on the main characters, but also makes us love the others. I really love music and this book was a very sweet story about a girl called Maude Laurent who really loves music, and is confined in the store room of her neighbor's family, who are kind of a foster family for her. But one little does she know that a surprise awaits her! Her future dreams are fulfilled! She meets, in New York, a family who takes care of her like their own family, a cute guy named Matt, and a challenging competitor for her song making, Lindsey.....
I really love Maude, Matt, Jaz and all the lovely characters of this book! <3
Loved the first book, but now I cannot get the rest of the series. Had them in my cart to buy later on, but they are gone. Wanted to get them as books, not on Kindle, so I could donate them to the middle school library I work for, but they are unavailable, even as used. I'M SAD!! I really think 6th to 8th graders would like these books.
