Billionaire Retreat is the story of Griffin and Nina. This book is quite amazing, I found this book to be quite entertaining and enjoyable to the point where I couldn’t put it down until I had finished reading. Author Summer Cooper continues to surprise me with her amazing writing and stories. Griffin and Nina have such a strong mesmerizing chemistry that is amazing to see in characters in a romance story. Billionaire Retreat’s characters are quite entertaining and you can’t help but love most of them, there is always a few characters in a book that a reader won’t like because either their a jerk or their ego is way to big for them. I would recommend this book to others.

Billionaire Retreat details:
Nina leaves behind her Georgia roots and is in LA living with her gay cousin Kenny, trying to become an actress/model. Kenny sets her up to do a swimsuit audition and talks her into wearing a really hot swimsuit. As Nina waits in line forever for the interview, she finds herself embarrassed, because she waited in the wrong line and was half-naked for a resort job interview instead. With all the confusion she leaves and almost gets hit by a car. Her rescuer is Griffin Wallace, and IT billionaire. He is the most beautiful man she has ever seen. She pulls herself together, thanks him for rescuing her and bids him farewell never to see again.

Nina gets a phone call from the resort the next day offering her a job as a “camp counselor” to the extremely wealthy for a week. Seeing as she has no job and needs rent money she accepts the position. Upon arrival to the resort she discovers that she is really playing a glorified entertainer to an eccentric billionaire, basically she is being paid to keep company. When she meets her billionaire for the weekend, her jaw drops. Her company to keep for the weekend is Griffin, her knight in shining armor.

Girffin is at his cousin Richard’s retreat to celebrate his brother Jackson’s upcoming marriage. They are there for a last hoorah bachelor party weekend. Griffin does not like being there or his brother’s friends, but that all changes the moment his eyes land his assigned date. It is the sexy brunette that his driver almost hit and he is determined to make her his.

As sparks fly and Nina’s attraction grows, she trys to not spend any alone time with him. But then her plan fails and they fall into bed and she falls in love. The next morning she wakes to an empty bed and Jackson knocking on the door to tell her he has left. Hurt and betrayed she storms away. Will they ever knock down the huge wall of lies and deceit that is there to keep them apart?.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.
**This may contain spoilers**

I was actually rather confused by the manner in which the H was presented throughout this book. In the first couple of chapters, he came across as this somewhat reclusive socially inept man who couldn't even really drive a car. He meets the h after his driver literally almost runs her over in a parking that she is crossing after a horrific "audition" for the wrong role. He is dressed in 3-piece suit, seemingly uptight and pompous, and obviously extremely wealthy. They part ways without getting name/number from each other.

A few weeks (?) later, the h gets a call that she is needed as an Entertainment Specialist at an exclusive high-end retreat that apparently caters to the wants and needs of wealthy men. She is basically a paid "escort" for a client who turns out to be the H that she met in the parking lot. And the H seems absolutely horrified by the idea of people having fun and enjoying themselves at his brother's bachelor party weekend at the retreat.

Of course, immediate sexual interest comes to the surface and the H/h do the horizontal mambo. When the h awakes the next morning, the H has left the retreat. The h thinks she has been used and abandoned and won't listen to any explanations given for his sudden departure.

Several months pass and the h finds herself with a permanent reminder of her encounter and she decides to track down the "co-founder" and is rudely headed off at the pass by the H's horribly overbearing and over protective mother.

The h runs back home to Georgia without telling the H that they have a child. Fast forward several years, the h travels back to LA for a role in a commercial without realizing it had been set up by the H. When he discovers they have a child together, blows a gasket, and throws her out.

Several more weeks/months pass and the H turns up in Georgia wanting to become a part of his child's life. At this point, he is portrayed as super cool, jeans and T-shirt wearing guy who is totally comfortable driving around roads he is unfamiliar with in rural Georgia.

Naturally, everything works out and they get their HEA.

I wanted to like this book more than I did, but I couldn't get over the Jekyll/Hyde transformation of the H.

Nina is trying to find her way in L.A, when she puts herself out there at a casting call for a modeling gig, she ended up finding her way to the wrong line. Life happens a lot to Nina- she in a barely covering a thing sequined attire ends up interviewing for a job as 'Entertainment Specialist' at Resort/Camp for the wealthiest of individuals, who require privacy and the 'perfect companion.' Taking this job may not be what she wanted, but getting in the wrong line will change up everything in Nina's world some for the better, and some maybe not so much.
This intriguing, entertaining mix of emotional ups and downs, thought-proving scenarios, humorous moments, a heart-tugging romance was such an enjoyable story! I love a good comeback HEA, and this with its plot twists and obstacles make for a page-turning romance adventure I could not put down!

The way Nina and Griff meet is very funny.
Bit unrealistic how they meet the second time, but who cares.
They are good together and it is fun to read.

Of course there is trouble in paradise and Nina jumps to conclusions and is handled unfair by his evil mother.
But at the end ... for that you have to read the book, you won't regret it.
It is fun, hot and an easy read

Billionaire’s retreat by Summer Cooper a fantabulousness of a five-star read. I adore Summer Cooper, she is fast becoming an author I devour whatever hits my kindle, it doesn’t get time to be added to my TBR pile, it just gets read. This book has it all, some steam and a setting that will make you dream of faraway places where it doesn’t rain all day (like it seems to be doing here in Wales at the moment). Nina Charles is an aspiring actress who goes to an audition and ends up in the wrong line, leading to something that will change her life. All G.L. ‘Griffin’ Wallace wants is to attend his brother’s bachelor party and enjoy some time alone. That’s not what he gets, what he gets leads to hilarity and sadness. But also, a good plot along the way and a story that will suck you in and not let up until the last page.

Billionaire Retreat
Summer Cooper

A second chance romamce stort with hot billionaires, swanky hotels and beaches. And a meddling mother that only cares about images. Its sexy and funny in all the right places. Plus who wouldn't want to see the mother eat crow.

Nina Charles is a young woman out on her own with some help from her cousin Kenny and his boyfriend in L.A. She has it all planed out. Auditions, get a job and live the life of an actress. Only it seems that things never work out that way for her. Instead she has the worst day ever in L.A even before the auditions start and even after they finish. Her cousin would get a good laugh expect for the part with the mam candy helping her. If only she could find a gentlemen such as he to rock her world.

OMG! This book was amazing!!! I could not put it down. I think this may be one of Summer Cooper’s best books that I have read yet. I am a new fan of hers and I have to say she just keeps impressing me with each book I read.

In this book Nina leaves behind her Georgia roots and is in LA living with her gay cousin Kenny, trying to become an actress/model. Kenny sets her up to do a swimsuit audition and talks her into wearing a really hot swimsuit. Griffin and Nina have such a strong mesmerizing chemistry between them. I was hooked on them from the moment they met, butterflies in my tummy and all. The story of them is tragic and heartbreaking, but you can’t help but hold out hope for them. The characters in the book are highly entertaining and you can’t help but love most of them. I highly recommend this book. You will not regret it.

Another great read by Summer Cooper. This book is about Nina who is a struggling model/actress who has moved from Georgia to L.A. to live with her cousin Kenny. When she goes out for her first audition, she ends up in the wrong line and is not treated very nicely by an older woman who was hosting the auditions with a younger man by her side. Being in a thong swimsuit may have added to the older ladies attitude but as they say, things happen. She leaves and literally is almost run over by a car that thankfully stops just in time. When strong arms try to help her up with a voice like liquid chocolate asks her if she is okay, she looks up and the most handsome man she has ever seen is right there. When she says she's find Griff and his friend drive away. When she receives a call the next day from the young man who she saw at the audition, she is shocked. He offers her a job on an island and the pay is going to be so worth it. Not really sure what the job entails she accepts and leaves for the island. Whose the man she is going to be spending time on this island? She has no idea but when she goes on the balcony to meet with him, Griff happens to turn around. Neither one of them expected to see each other again but you cannot deny the chemistry that is between these two. When one things leads to another they end up sleeping together but the next morning Griffin is no longer in his room. Where did he go? Why did he leave? Nina is not only hurt but pissed so when Jackson who is Griffin's brother tries to tell her that it's not what she thinks she tells him to get lost and decdies to go home. What will happen from here on out? I will tell you that Nina finds out she is pregnant. What will happen for their future? Does Griffin have another family already? He is a billionaire with more money than anyone could spend, was he just having a good time that week? Since I'm not that type of reviewer to divulge any more of the book, this is a must buy for you to read. You will enjoy this book immensely. The book is written well, the characters are great to read about, you have family, trust, loyalty, betrayal, lust and love all wrapped up into one story. This is my third arc from Summer Cooper, and my 4th read - and I've come to the conclusion that she just isn't for me... (with the exception of Billionaire In Vegas.. that one I liked!)

Actress wannabe Nina is new to L.A. Scantily dressed in a sequenced thong bikini at model audition she accidentally stands in the wrong line and ends up interviewing with some cranky old women for some mysterious island resort entertainment job.

On her way out of the interview, she almost gets run over by a hot guy and his driver.

Nina immediately starts fantasizing about the hot guy, aka Griffin.

Then she gets a call, she's wanted for the mysterious island job. To entertain rich guys..? Like to flirt and stuff..?
Who would randomly accept a job they know absolutely nothing about and has concerns that it sounds a lot like an escort gig!?!

Nina.

And of course.. it's Griff. Mr Hot Guy who's driver nearly killed her. He requested her as his 'entertainment specialist' for the week of his brother's bachelor party on the island. The island where each male gets his own 'entertainment specialist' for the duration of their stay... yeah, it's as bad as it sounds.

Nina is absolutely NOT going to have sex with Griff... until she does. Like, the next day.. in a supply closet. Then he does a runner. Leaving her in bed the morning after without a word. She's pissed, refuses to listen to a word his brother has to say and runs home from the island.

This moves along real fast in some parts.. and real slow in others... Soon it's a month and a half later. Get ready for a HUGE SPOILER!!.

Part 1 & 2 were over in a flash.. then there's Part 3. It's like the author wanted to put as many cliches all into one, in as little amount of pages possible.
Will she or won't she tell Griff?
It was all too rushed.
Too predictable.

I give Billionaire Retreat 5 stars for providing me with a quick, short story that was fun. The plot was interesting, the characters were strong, and the story flowed nicely.

Summer Cooper has another great story under her belt. Her writing flows well, her characters are always interesting, and the plot was great.

Nina and Griff met when she accepts the entertainment specialist position for a week at the island resort. He is there for his brother's bachelor party, and she is assigned as his escort. What's in store for these two?

Nina Charles moved from Georgia regions to L.A. to begin an acting career. After spending the day in line for a casting as a swimsuit model she finally got through the door to the interview only to find out she was in the wrong line. She was in a line up for a camp counsellor or entertainment specialist position for an island property, resort, off the coast of Mexico. Is this something she could do?

G. L. "Griffin" Wallace attended his brother’s bachelor weekend after his brother's best man couldn't. He was a last-minute fill in and could not run away screaming from this resort. He doesn't have much in common with his brother and his friends, who are grown men behaving like frat boys. Is this whole island ridiculous and borderline immoral?

Billionaire Retreat is a romance novella that is about a chance encounter that leads to misunderstandings, misconceptions, and missed opportunities. In the end all works out as it should, but not before some heartache and headaches.

I'm sure you will enjoy this story.

Wow just wow! This is the best Summer Cooper book I have read!!!! Love it! LOVE IT!!!! It has it all, romance, angst, steamy scenes, a secret pregnancy...

Nina recently move to LA, is living with her cousin and this is her first casting. But nothing is going as supposed to; she make the wrong line so she did not get her audition, instead she was admonished by an old woman because of her appearance (she was in a bikini) and didn't have a resume with her and later she was saved by a hair of been struck by a car. At least the passanger of the car was handsome... The next day she is called by the man that was with the old woman in the wrong casting to work in a island as a entertainment conselor (or something).

Whe she get in the island she find out that the same handsome man, Griffin, that was going to struck her with the car is there. The attraction between them is powerfull, they really like each other and one thing led to the other and they pass the night together. Only for Nina find herself alone on the morning. His brother tells her that Griffin had an emergency and is not in the island, that bit of information broke Ninas heart and she left the island and Griffin behind.

Months later she try to find him, but what she finds out is not what she was looking for. Now she is all alone and pregnant.

Will they have a second chance? Is everything what it seems?

So this is a billionaire meets the woman of his dreams story, however there is some twist to the story.
Nina leave Georgia and moves to LA where her cousin Kenny is living. She wants to be an actress and Kenny has agreed to be her agent. When she mistakenly goes to the wrong audition she has no clue that her life is about to change.
From the mistaken audition she is offered a job as an entertainment hostess on an exclusive island. There she meet Griffin. They share a passionate night after being on the island for several days but Griffin leaves before Nina wakes up. Nina is heartbroken and leaves the island.
She returns to George to lick her wounds and finds out she took something away from the island.
When she goes to talk to Griffin about her pregnancy his mother interferes. Nina is once again heartbroken at what she finds out about Griffin.
Fast forward 4 years and Nina is back in LA for a commercial which Griffin arranges. She is once again attracted to him and believes that they may be able to have a life but once again his mother interferes.
As Nina becomes stronger as a person can she forgive Griffin and let him back into her life? Can Griffin forgive Nina keeping a secret from him?
I was given this book for an honest voluntary review. This story has just enough of a twist to not be one of the many similar billionaire books out there.

“Billionaire Retreat” has such a really good romantic storyline and some twists that are engaging I just wished it had both POVs. I found when we also hear or rather read the male POV, it lends so much to the story and development of the characters especially the male. You ‘get' them and become more committed to them.

I love a good romance, especially spicy romance, but I just found the sexy parts a bit wooden so you lose the magic of the spice and don’t get to engage in what makes the characters more in tuned with one another. I love the flow and the teasing banter and the twists and surprises even Griff's crazy mother I just wished we saw everything through both their eyes.

That said the latter part of the book was better in that you got a bit more into the characters and Nina’s family, her reasonings and as you spend most of the time looking through her eyes you get so much better her sense of what makes her tick and you understood why she did some of the things she did and truly I don’t blame her one bit so yeah its realistic.

I just think with some mild honing this book would be so much more and check every box for me. I liked quite a few bits a lot but its so close to loving it, just a nudge and it's there.

Just finished reading this this book and I loved it, I couldn't put it down it kept drawing me in until the very end, Nina is an out of work actor/ actresse and goes for an interview for a modelling job and ends up in the wrong line but applies anyway, thinking she did know good leaves and almost gets hit by a car what else could go wrong, out steps a gorgeous man that takes her breath away afterwards she makes it home still thinking but the man in the car when her phone rings and she lands the job as a entertainer escort on an island for wealthy men and that's where she meets Griffin a rich billionaire which turns out to be the man from the almost car accident, so on this island they became very close and end up sleeping together and then he leaves in the middle of the night after being with her, Nina wakes up alone and goes looking for Griffin and he is no where to be found so she leaves his room but runs into his brother and he tells her he had to leave on family business not buying it she also leaves the island. Will things work out for everyone in the end read this book to find out it's fabulous I would recommend this book to everyone. I voluntarily reviewed an arc copy of this book for an honest review

A story about two people, one a billionaire, Griffen, and the woman he meets at a resort for rich people to get away, a struggling actress, Nina. Their chemistry and sparks are there and after a steamy night he leaves w/o saying good bye. She is hurt and angry and leaves the island right after he does, not wanting to listen to his excuses and not taking his information. Months later she seeks him out only to be railroaded by his mom, who by my description is evil, snobby and down right a real piece of work. Years later she sees him again and he is persistent until his mom gets in between them again. Will they finally work it out? Will she tell him her secret?
A read that takes over the span of a few years, reading about Nina's struggles, sacrifices and watching her mature to be an independent and confident woman. The ending was beautiful and took some time which was perfect, them getting to know each other first before jumping in again. I only wished I could have known his POV at certain times during the read, to know what he was thinking, feeling and if he thought about her all those years or tried moving on or stayed faithful to her. Otherwise a great read that kept me turning the pages.

First, I don't understand a week long bachelor party on a tropical island with a personal "entertainment specialist." It is a crazy concept that does lend itself to the unique setting in which Nina and Griffin begin their relationship. Secondly, there is so much heart ache and misunderstandings between Nina and Griffin that I struggled to stay positive for the happy ending. It is emotional and raw especially with a little girl in the middle.

The story is in Nina's POV so you get very little about what is going on with Griffin but, that is part of the drama. The character development of Nina, her parents, Sadie and cousin Kenny is well done. The tight supportive family is exactly what Nina needs as she faces life's challenges doing the best she can for Sadie. The only character on Griffin's side that is fully expressed is his mother, Mrs. Wallace. There are no nice words for her and her interference and manipulation.

I liked the story but, only as it progressed well into the third part and I could reflect on the story as a whole.

Waiting in the wrong queue for the swimsuit model audition, clad only in a sequinned thong bikini, Georgian peach Nina ends up auditioning for a role as an entertainment advisor at an exclusive Mexican resort. Surprised the next morning by the phone call telling her she got the role, she sleepily agrees to leave immediately, whereupon she meets the guy she's been hired to entertain: Griffin. Griffin also happens to be the hot guy who nearly ran her down in the parking lot, and they have immediate chemistry. Great conversations and laughs turn into an amazing night together, but Nina's hopes are shattered when she wakes the next morning alone. Griffin's brother nervously tries to tell her that he had to leave for an emergency, but Nina knows exactly what the score is and storms home from the resort. Three months later, and just starting to show, she gathers the strength to go back to LA to tell Griffin the news that she's pregnant, and a further series of unpleasant events send her crying back to Georgia. This is a great second chance story - full of misunderstandings, genuine feelings and some charmingly real (and sometimes awkward) dialogue. Great read!

Nina has moved to LA to try to break into acting. After a bathing suit model audition goes horribly wrong, she is thinking it might be better if she just went back home to Georgia and went back to school. Especially after almost being run over on the way home. Sure the guy was drop dead gorgeous, but she didn't even get his name.

Griffin is a hard working, hot, single billionaire. He has to stand in for his brother's best man at his bachelor part at the last minute. It's at a fancy resort where there is a lady for every guy. Entertainment Specialists they call themselves! He wants to be anywhere but there. Until he meets his entertainment specialist. See he has met her once before, quite literally by accident. His driver almost ran her down in a parking lot days before.

Both characters are strong and likable. Their story is a great one, with lots of heat and passion, some laughs and a lot of heartache and drama, before they finally get on the same page and make it work. It's a roller coaster of emotions, but definitely worth it in the end!

I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving this review. This is my honest opinion.

I read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Nina, an struggling actress who is asked at last minute to be a paid entertainer on an island for a bachelor party. There she meets Griffin, a billionaire and brother of the groom. They have a great connection and spend a night together. When Nina wakes up alone, she learns Griffin fled the island without saying goodbye. She feels used and leaves and ends up moving back to Atlanta. There she learns she is pregnant and she has no way of finding Griffin. Nina tries to contact him through the agency that booked her for the island, but when she finds him, his mother promptly has her removed from the building. The next day, Nina is contacted by who she thinks is Griffin, only to have his mother show up at the meeting and point out Griffin with a little girl and hugging a woman. Nina returns and does not want to contact Griffin again. Through mistakes and misunderstandings, they will have to fight their way back together before it is too late and they lose each other. This was a good story about love and forgiveness. Griffin and Nina have to build a relationship and learn to trust each other. Good book

I originally read this book in 2017 and forgot that I'd read it and accepted another ARC from the author via Booksprout. My review has not really changed in that this book is a really good read. Nina goes to an interview wearing a bikini but ends up in the wrong queue. The older woman on the panel is not impressed at her attire but the younger guy decides to interview her anyway. She gets the job which is for her to be an entertainment escort at an exclusive island retreat. There she bumps into Griff again, who had nearly run her over. They click and that eventually results in a hot night of passion. But he's not there in the morning, his brother tries to explain but she's not interested. Then she realizes she is pregnant. She tries to contact him but is blocked by his mother. Unknown to her Griff is missing her but has no way of contacting her. The story continues with missed opportunities and miscommunications. Couldn't put the book down because I really had to find out it there was an HEA for our two lovers.

"I'm scared, but I know I can do this on my own."

Yesss...I admire Nina, she's such a strong girl. Life throws her curve ball over and over again, but she gets through it all, she's still smiling and do her best to make the one she loves happy.
And for Griffin. This man is sweet but he needs more groveling to do, I still can't forgive him for that stupid thing he did. Yeah I'm a bit disappointed in him.
These characters leave big impressions for me. I cried, smiled and got frustrated with them.

As for the book. This is my first book from Summer Cooper and definitely won't be the last. I loveeee this book. This insta-love second chance romance is packed with emotions. Angst, sadness and happiness, it's all in this book. At some point, I can't put it down, I'm dying to know what will happen to Nina, will she gets what she wants, will she gets her happy ending. Yup I'm totally hooked in this book.

If you love romance packed with emotions, you need to read this one.

This was the first book I read by Summer Cooper and I loved it! Nina moved from Georgia to LA and was living with her cousin Kenny to try and make it as an actress. She mistakenly got in the wrong line at an audition and ended up getting a job at a resort for an entertainment specialist for one week. She met Griffin there and sparks flew. They ended up having a night of passion and he unexpectedly got called away while she was sleeping. He told his brother to give her his contact information but she jumped to conclusions and was heartbroken. She went home to Georgia to lick her wounds and decide what to do, because besides receiving a broken heart, she found out she was pregnant! She finally decided to return to LA to talk to him but his mother ran interference and caused Nina to believe Griffin had another family. She went back home and tried to move on with her life having her baby and get a degree. Fate steps in and they meet up again but can they they each explain what really happened and forgive one another to overcome the obstacles? I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Nina Charles is a struggling actress so when she gets offered a job that caters to rich men she takes it never thinking how much it would change her life. Griffin Wallace is a last minute fill in for the party going to the resort however this isn't the first time he has met Nina. They almost had a collision when she was leaving after a failed audition and his driver almost hit her. So when they reconnect the sparks fly. An unexpected situation pulls Griffin away after they spend an amazing night together. Nina thinks she's been played and won't listen as his brother tries to explain and takes off. However Nina learns later that Griffin has left her with a little more than a broken heart. This was a great story I couldn't stop reading once I started. The heat between the characters scorches from the pages. These characters have a lot of misunderstandings on their way to their happy ending which makes their love that much more stronger. I would recommend this to anyone that loves a enduring love story.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I received an ARC for an honest review.
I enjoyed this story more than I thought I would. It took me on a little emotional rollercoaster ride and I caught myself talking (out loud) to the characters more than once!

Nina and Griff made a good couple, but their continued misunderstandings made their journey difficult. While Nina was ikeable, I liked Griff better. He was more laid back and stayed the course trying to achieve his goal. She jumped to conclusions and blamed others for those conclusions as facts. However, this combination of personalities managed to work to produce an engaging story about two people navigating a relationship or some semblance thereof. I always enjoy a good billionaire tale as they are my escape. This one was good, but would have liked to see more of Griff and a little less of his mother!
I recommend this book to all readers of this genre and also recommend it to those who are looking for a first book in a new one. I look forward to reading other works by Ms. Cooper.

Nina gets a job at an exclusive resort as an entertainment specialist. Not knowing exactly what she is getting herself into, she agrees. Griffin is the man she is slated to be the entertainment specialist for. This is a bachelor party for his brother. Things get hot and heavy between Nina and Griffin and the next morning, Griffin is gone. Unwilling to listen to his brother, Nina is hurt, upset and angry. When Nina finds out she is pregnant, she tries to tell Griffin, but there is an obstacle in her way – Mom!

Griffin never forgot about Nina and has his cousin help get her a job – unbeknownst to him that he is a father. When the truth comes out after spending more time together, Griffin is hurt and doesn’t realize that mommy dearest is the one who keeps standing in his way.

Lots of miscommunication, lack of communication, jumping to conclusions, secrets, hurt feelings and wounded pride in this story.

Excellent contemporary billionaire second chance/secret baby romance. Nina recently moved to LA to find a job. Presently for the past few weeks she's been living with her cousin and his partner. She goes to a job interview where a misunderstanding occurs but she ends up getting a position as an entertainment specialist. Turns out to be something very unexpected. This is where she meets Griff and they hit it off. Suddenly he leaves the island and in her dismay Nina gets angry so leaves never to see or hear from Griff again. Eventually they meet again but Griff's mother did her best to see they don't reconnect much to Griff's dismay. The situation blows up in both their faces and Nina never gets chance to tell Griff about their daughter. There are circumstances (people) working against them and others trying to help. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Cooper.

First of all, I received an advance reader copy for free and a honest review.

I really did enjoy this book. I like that the heroine, Nina, didn't sit around waiting for Griffin to get his act together. Yes, she did get pushed over and was led to believe the worst by his mother but I am glad that she didn't let it stop her from doing what needed to be done. I like their chemistry with one another too. I thought Ms. Cooper did a good job with it even though there was only one point of view. Maybe because I've been so used to reading books lately where you have both view points that at first it threw me off. However I didn't mind. Although...I would have loved to know what Griffin was thinking during certain situations and especially with the time jump.

If you are considering reading this book, I hope that you do give it a chance. Ms. Cooper has disappointed yet in the books that I've read.

All I can really say is that you must absolutely 1-Click this book today...or miss out on one of the best books of the summer. Grab your tissues, a cold drink, and find a place where you won't be disturbed--then hop on the emotional roller coaster that is Billionaire Retreat. The storyline is beyond awesome; the characters are fully developed...and so real you believe you're right there with them sharing these experiences both good and bad. Plot twists--oh yes. HEA? Not without a price. Please...do yourself a favor and add this to your personal library. This is one story you'll definitely read more than once! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and literally devoured it in one sitting. I read it two more times waiting for the release date. It's a very moving and touching story.) ❤️❤️
