"Page Turning Feast"

Have you ever had a book call to You? The title plus the colors, purple and black, adorn the cover as the moon beacons you to touch it!

I first saw Melody's words on Facebook. Immediately feeling a kinship, I purchased "Vine: Book of Poetry", loved it, and then purchased "Moon Gypsy" .

"Moon Gypsy" speaks to my soul in words only it understands, leaving me with clarity, hope and dreams to dance my nights, and days, away!

Melody Lee adds something extra for the Reader. After many of her poems, she adds a few personal comments to take us even further into her magic binding us to her inexplicably.

If I could Rate higher than 5 Star, I most assuredly would!

Melody Lee's debut book is what beautiful dreams are made of. Ethereal and ferocious, Moon Gypsy is the perfect collection for any lover of fairy tales, inspiration, and, heart. Melody Lee writes from her soul, and it is often raw, always edgy, but never flippant, her work is as relatable as it is beautiful, and this collection will quickly become a favourite of poetry lovers everywhere.

Melody Lee's poetry feeds my soul. I was so delighted to see that it wasn't a skimpy little poetry book. It's pretty big, I feel that I got what I paid for. Now to the poetry - it's brilliant, beautiful, smart, passionate, human, and soulful. I am so happy I discovered Melody - she has become one my favorite writers.

Moon Gypsy is everything I needed, and five times the things I never knew I needed. The poems in this book are raw, magical, and downright relatable–qualities that are actually very difficult to find stacked on top of each other in any given volume of poetry. The writing in here is absolutely gorgeous, and incredibly elegant at times, but it's the accessibility of the thoughts themselves that makes all of this extra special. Many (including myself) have seen Melody Lee's work on popular social media sites, but this book has a lot of pieces that I've never seen before despite my following of her pages on Facebook for years. If you haven't already picked up a copy of this book from here or from Melody's Etsy site, you should get on that. Immediately.

Outstanding collection of poetry which covers emotions and passions rather than subjects. Melody gives us page upon page of descriptive thoughtful words, sometimes only a few lines long, that take the reader on a venture brimming with fantastical but rooted in reality. Exceptional!

I absolutely loved this book. Moon Gypsy captures her expressions and soul on each page and brings such great imagery to let me see and deeply feel what she is saying. It left me wondering and pondering upon the many ideas and dreams she laid out for me to read. I highly recommend this book to anyone that loves poetry, storytelling and fairytales.

This is utter crap! I only liked one poem! Only one! Does not read like poetry or prose at all. More like inspirational memes n quotes you can find on Facebook, Instagram, n Pinterest. I’m regretting buying two of her books without thumbing through the pages first. Now I have to get through the second book to see if it’s any better but I doubt it.
