This is a ten or fifteen minute read short, and we follow a woman who has been badly treated but manages to escape on a car/ spaceship which she drives to another neighbourhood/ flies to another planet. Methinks this story has been adapted from another one and not well edited.
The woman has no way to protect herself when the bad guy eventually finds her with her new love, except to spit in his face. Odd, then, that later she is suddenly a skilled and willing killer of various bad guys. She could have done a lot more damage to the bad guy with her bare hands if she'd wanted.
This is a physical adult romance - the cover shows a guy with blue skin but I didn't see that in the text; the good guy looked like the woman, who wasn't blue, except he had different ears, and the bad guy wasn't described.
Overall this is a fun short read but the quality of the writing lets it down. We get a lot of switching from past to present tense within paragraphs and simple vocabulary. I downloaded a copy from Instafreebie. This is an unbiased review.
