"... The fracturing of my marriage proves that all it takes is one person to wreck a relationship."Kyle has done the unthinkable. He knows Merissa will not easily forgive him, still he is determined to make atonement. He will not allow a meaningless encounter fueled by his stupidity and lust to torpedo his marriage. But Kyle is completely blindsided by Merissa's quiet but steely determination to exit their marriage. He knows he's hurt his wife, but this unyielding woman will force him to re-evaluate everything he believes about love and marriage."I will not give you another chance to betray me."Merissa is devastated by Kyle's actions, but she will not be another island woman winking at the indiscretions of her husband. Neither Kyle's pleas for forgiveness nor her treacherous heart will make her sacrifice her self-respect. But leaving a man with a dogged determination to win back his wife, might not be as easy as she thinks.

Enjoyable

Christian second chance romances can be hit or miss. This was a hit for me. It wasn’t too preachy and I didn’t feel overwhelmed with constant praying. The H did grovel and I have to admit I found the Christian counseling sessions to repair their marriage were some of the best parts of the book. My only complaint is the book itself needs to be better formatted and there are a lot of ticky-tack grammar issues which detract from a smooth read, but overall this was very enjoyable.

Enjoyable read

Loved it...both times that I read it. Highly recommend this book and all her other books because she writes well about relatable characters and relationships. This was a wonderful story about broken spouses growing back to love and appreciate each other. The love scenes were clean...didn't have to be graphic...allowing the powerful lessons to have positive impact on the reader. Cannot wait for her next book. Kudos to Rachel.

decision point for love and romance

Great story reflective of everyday marital and family struggles. Forgiveness and reconciliation are often the process that we minimize. So glad that redemption was allowed into the hearts.
