This time Atticus McLaren is on his own. Fresh off of a course on Architectural Archaeology, Atticus travels to Shetland to work on a 3D mapping project of one of the islands’ dig sites. Before long, though, he is wrapped up in another mystery when he finds the body of a young man, mysteriously dumped in a stairwell. With the help of new friend, Sergeant Drake Mallard, and the rest of the Shetland Constabulary, Atticus investigates a case that spans the length of mainland Shetland and takes him to the tiny island of Foula. Along the way, he runs into danger, greed, and the surprisingly seedy underbelly of the Archaeological world.
I am an author, scriptwriter, and filmmaker. I've recently started my own publishing and production company called Divergence Productions. 2017 was an exciting and crazy year, and I hope things only get better from here. I write mainly mystery and fantasy novels, which usually focus on LGBT or neurodivergent characters. The Atticus McLaren Mysteries is my baby, and the company is currently working on turning it into a television series.
