A hot romantic interlude in an island paradise sounds like the stuff of dreams… but some dreams quickly become nightmares.
Three years ago, alpha Liam Aguado made a deal with the devil to get the money he needed for his mother's cancer treatments. To this day, drug kingpin Julio Romero still holds his leash, forcing him to continue smuggling shipments to their island home. When Julio offers Liam a way out, he jumps at it–all he needs to do is deliver a package to a woman at a hotel. But with devils, things are rarely as they seem.
Dragged to the island for his brother's wedding, Simon Duncan is a lonely omega who's more interested in working on his blog than interacting with his dysfunctional family. He slips away from dinner one night and finds himself confronted with a devastatingly handsome Liam.
When a chance meeting in the lobby of an exotic island hotel brings Liam and Simon together, their hot one-night stand quickly blossoms into something more. But their idyllic new romance is soon interrupted…
As Liam's sister goes missing and an underhanded plot strands Simon on the island, the two find themselves turning the aforementioned devil for help. Now, they must work together to find a way to free themselves from Julio's stifling grasp, but the clock starts ticking when Simon discovers he's pregnant. If Julio learns their secret, he’ll surely exploit Simon to ensure Liam’s continued cooperation, and the new family may find itself forever trapped under the thumb of a vicious drug lord.
In this hot and explicit MM Alpha/Omega Mpreg 50,000-word novel (intended for adult readers only), two men from radically different worlds fall hard and fast for one another. Will they be able escape Julio’s insidious clutches and build a future for their budding family, or will the devil ensure he gets his due?
Living in paradise on a topical island. Working in the business created by your family, as well as the home built by your family is ideal. Having a supportive loving sibling is also wonderful. So why isn't Liam Aguado happy? Why is he desperate for his sister to attend college on the mainland even though neither liked being there when they spent time away from their island home? Despite this time Liam pushes her to a different life.
One mystery man who finds himself emeshed in a bevy of lives & danger Liam seeks solace in another unhappy man. A guest at one of the island's luxurious hotels. Not a rich guest but the black sheep of a well educated family, Simon Duncan. An One Night Stand that imprints on them both. When another opportunity offers itself they fall into bed again. Each finding something attractive and intriguing in the other despite the fact that Simon will soon be leaving.
Little does either man realize their relationship is cloaked in deception from the beginning. There is despair, desperation, miscommunication, and unexpected happiness. The happy times are brief but the danger level escalates exponentially. Coming clean is a hard thing to do, but the lies & subterfuges could tear them apart, as quickly as the outside dangerous elements that first surrounds then envelopes them.
A mini-miracle or two is just what's needed for them to get their acts together& combine to become the force for good in a cauldron of evil. I found that Liam in spite of his sincere desire to better the lives of himself and his sister, he made poor decisions then proceeded to compound the problems. Simon was another vulnerable soul like Liam and like was attracted to like.
One of my favorite characters was a very blunt doctor. He got down to the nitty gritty involving male pregnancies. He made Liam and Simon face reality & some hard truths. Then they individually had to determine how they felt at the possibility of fatherhood. You can count on Liam to be impulsive, only semi-rational, and 100% annoying in how he tried to Alpha decision their situation.
OUR PARADISE was an interesting story, but the contrasting family dynamics made you want to punch a few people, including an in law to be & a drug lord. Paradise is a subjective world on this island, where peril and unhappiness abound.
A MM romance that will have you on the edge trying to figure whats next in this little romance thriller. Simon is on a family vacation with his not so friendly family. They resent him for doing his own thing in life. So he's considered the blacksheep of the family. He never wanted to go but went because of his brother paying for his round trip flight and says he wants him there at his wedding. He has no choice to go. On the plus side of things he can get some awesome island pictures for his blog. But now a mysterious man comes into his life and someone frames him. Can he ever catch a break? And why would someone want to frame him?
Liam is worried about his only living relative which is his sister. Even though she's an adult she doesn't know what he is up to to keep a roof over their head. Now she is missing and he has a man in his life that he actually cares for. Will he be able to get out of trouble and keep his boyfriend too? Besides finding his sister...
The book blurb tells the story a lot better than I ever could or does it? I felt the story was better than the blurb; does that make any sense? I totally loved "Our Paradise". It had drama, angst, a new love interest which hit all my buttons. We have Simon, arriving to the tropical island for a family member's wedding, mind you under duress: his estranged family paid for his trip and accommodations. Liam, a tour guide for the family touring business. They met at the hotel, Simon to avoid his family and Liam, to deliver a package. Simon, thought him to be a currier, but Liam assured him this was a side job. Liam is under a lot of stress; running the family business by himself while his sister Lacy is in the states looking into colleges; but she is missing; trying to get out from under the foot of the local drug lord with out getting killed; plus, meeting his mate, Simon. As the saying goes" stuff starts happening" at this point. This kept me entertained and I ended up reading it in one sitting. Austin wove these knots through out the story; and I was glued to the pages; wondering how this was going to end. I want to say this was an entertaining and engaging read . One the many things that for me will either make it enjoyable or I put it down; for something else: is the sentence structure, the word usage and of course his imagination. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a good entertaining read, low heat, and with great characters should take a shot at "Our Paradise. ************************************************* ""I read a complimentary Advanced Reader Copy of this book & am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review."
Our Paradise is an exciting and entertaining read from Austin Bates, I really enjoyed this story. Austin packs a lot into this story and I couldn't put it down. Liam lives on a tropical island where he runs a boat tour company but his life is not a dream vacation. He's in debt to a drug kingpin who constantly threatens his sister in order to keep him working for him. Simon is on the island to celebrate his brother's wedding but it's not really a happy occasion, his relationship with his family really isn't the best. When Liam and Simon meet there is an immediate connection between these two and it quickly develops into more than just instant attraction.
Liam and Simon's story is full of action. I really liked Liam and Simon both, they are strong characters individually and just great together. Austin Bates throws in some interesting twists as well, some things I really didn't see coming. Liam and Simon aren't perfect, and even though they had their share of issues, I really liked how in the end they communicated with each other. Overall I really enjoyed this story and absolutely loved how it all came together. Our Paradise is another very enjoyable read from Austin Bates!

Liam lives on a tropical island running the family tour guide business with his sister, Lacey. Simon is visiting the island for his brother's wedding. They meet one night when they both feel alone, needing someone else to connect with. Both believe things between them was only going to be a one night stand, but when a family member's betrayal strands Simon on the island, Liam takes him in believing he was part of the cause. Liam however has his own problems, problems that seem to drag him in deeper with each passing moments. When they receive shocking news, Liam gets desperate to break free of his problems for the safety of them all. Will love conquer all?
I love this book. It was emotional, humorous, and drama filled. Liam and Simon's relationship was far from perfect just like a real life relationship. I loved how they dealt with things together and apart. They were strong characters that complimented one another. I definitely recommend this book.

An entertaining book with writing that was good. The plot was diverting and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters interesting. The characters were well developed and thought out. Liam and Simon are the MC’s of this book. There was humor, a missing sister, drugs, a tour business, blackmail, blogging, cartel, family and so much more in this book.
Here is a quote from the book, “Liam Aguado, we have it on good authority that your boathouse was being used as a staging area for illegal drug smuggling. You’ll be coming down to the station for questioning.” Stated the police sergeant without so much as looking Liam in the eye. Liam had no choice but to submit and follow them. Was this Julio’s way of letting him go? Erase all ties that they had worked together and then throw him to the sharks?”. There is more but you will need to read the book which I can recommend as a good read. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.
MM. Chris wants to see the best in everyone around him, including his long term boyfriend whom continually takes advantage of him and cheats on him. He overlooks the indiscretions and terrible behavior because he has been with him for nine years and he enjoys his body. Even traveling to Hawaii does not appear to break his cycle of thinking until he makes a conscious decision to focus on what he needs. It is difficult to not let his ex's behavior influence his decisions on other men or entering a new relationship. Explicit. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Like many of these styles of stories I liked reading about Liam and Simon. Their fast romance and romantic setting was easy to relate to and I was pleased that they had an HEA ending.
If you like MM Preg books you would enjoy this story.
I have read all of Austin's books to date . Each one sends me on a new and exciting trip of love and romance . The intrigue and hints of danger only added to my reading enjoyment . I recommend this novel to all who not only likes a good story line but also a look into what true love looks like .
Striking and *snickers* arresting," this book has intrigue as well as romance. They are both equally represented and dashing. Though I personally wouldn't have had anything to do with my family if they were Simon's, but that's me... I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
i enjoyed this story.. it had twists and turns and unexpected things happen.. i was a little thrown off on the fact that the omega didnt know he could get pregnant but it was still a very good story and i enjoyed it. i am glad i got to review it
