Why 5 stars you ask? Because there is no 6 star rating!

Simply magical reading! Kerry Reed’s DREAMSCAPE is possibly one of the most enchanting tales to grace bookshelves in a while for me! If you are looking for something a little different, a little magical, something you cannot help but be pulled into, this is it. Be ready for a fresh and unique tale that is filled with adventure and imagination, as well as some nostalgic moments that will take you back to a time when you believed in fairytales.

Did you have a special friend when you were a child? Chloe did, back when she was innocent enough to turn her stuffed tiger into a living and breathing playmate. Like all children, she grew up, and that special playmate was relegated to a shelf, a little tattered, still loved, but no longer “alive” in her heart.

Now a teen, Chloe's dreams take her to another land, where a special boy is winning her heart, but of course, it is just a dream, or is it more? Follow Chloe as she takes us with her into her dreams, where she will reunite with a special friend, face an evil queen, and save a boy who was not all he seemed. Through it all Chloe will learn more about herself and how special every dream can be.
Chloe has a gift, her dreams feel real, could it be they are? Does she possess something the evil queen wants? What other evil lurks in the shadows? A contemporary version of falling into the rabbit hole, or a magical wardrobe, or being whisked away in a twister, Kerry Reed’s DREAMSCAPE is an exciting tale with characters that are endearingly realistic or terrifyingly horrid.

You will believe in Chloe, her adventure and the land in her dreams as if they are real, because maybe Kerry Reed has her own special magic in her imagination that she pours into her words on every page!

A brilliant hidden gem for ALL ages who want to believe in the power of dreams, friends and doing the right thing, no matter what.

DREAMSCAPE is imaginative and beautifully written! Perfect for the teen (or adult!) who's a big dreamer.

I love when stories explain something ordinary with a bit of magic.

Can't wait to see what Kerry Reed writes next!

This creative story perfectly pulls the reader in and weaves a tale that combines realistic characters with an imaginative dream world of possibilities. By the end I was both completely satisfied and ready for another volume from this author!

A brilliant and fresh YA voice! Drawn into a unique world, deepened by creative elements, readers will yearn for more clues as truths within Chloe's life unfold - a reality she knew nothing about that is almost impossible to believe. Almost. Reed gives flexibility to her words, empowering the reader to explore his/her own conclusions of where the story might be headed. You feel as though you're really there and, frankly, wonder if maybe you have been. You'll question your here-and-now with what you've always thought you knew.

With glimpses of an inner-story mythology and mystery, this is a story that fluctuates from fairytale to real life, but all experience is real. The characters are believable; some will make you laugh, while others leave you wondering. And the budding romance between Chloe and Zak is very sweet. This is definitely a clean YA read. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to see what happens to these characters next!

What a fun and engaging story- I loved Dreamscape! I couldn't put it down until I finished it. Loved the entire dream world created, and Chloe's adventures throughout the novel. I read a lot of YA (even though I am not technically in that age group) and this story was fresh and inventive, with unique twists- everyone will love it, regardless of age! Definitely recommend this book! A must-read :)

An interesting book but it didn't keep my attention. It took me awhile to finish it because I kept stopping. It has strong descriptions and the characters are okay but just wasn't for me.
