Touching the Holy

Rate this book
This repackaged edition of noted psychologist Robert J. Wicks's most popular book encourages readers to share and receive that sacred presence more openly, especially through the gift of friendship. The book's enduring popularity is due in part to its practicality: principles of self-respect, skills for stress management, and more. Also includes a new introduction by Wicks.

Such a great book on spiritual formation. You learn what it means to live in 'ordinariness' and how much reflection plays a part in your spiritual growth. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn spiritual disciplines to grow deeper in their faith.

Something that you’ll keep going back to to keep you grounded. Super good read. Helps you discover parts of yourself. Therapy in a book in a way that also ties back to the Lord and His love for us

A great book in theory, and definitely interesting, but it did get pretty academic for my tastes, in terms of the psychology. For someone who is into that though, I could see this being a great read.
