Does Destiny have a hand?On a lookout above the ocean late one night, Jack stops for a moment to breathe and sees the most beautiful woman he could ever imagine lying on the beach below, naked, perfect. Hell! Well, there were few days off for vampire hunters. When Ife finds out what this man she is falling for does for a living, she wonders how Destiny will answer for this screw up.Book 17 brings Ife's story, and an homage to one of the most famous vampire hunting brother teams in television history. My name is Charlie, everyone has a story, and this is mine...

That's how the book Last Best Hope, by author T.C.Butts, introduces Charlie Quinn, happy at last living in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, finally at home in her cabin surrounded by nature's beauty. From her isolated life, she makes her living writing a highly successful vampire romance series, where she proclaims, "So I didn't create timeless canons of literature...I created moments of escapist enjoyment, and in the lives we often trap ourselves, it was as important as any Shakespeare sonnet or Tennyson poem." When fireballs rain down on Denver one early spring night, the world is changed forever.

Author T.C.Butts has brought Charlie Quinn's vampire romance series to life, which has grown deeper and richer with each new volume. It has been a labor of love!

Another Adventure Begins

The saga continues in this series with a new and different twist. Hunters are enlightened to the Vampire world and have a change of heart to everything they have ever learned. Wonderful to see how two worlds collide and a love story evolves into something beautiful.

*Sigh*

I'm thankful to you C. L. Quinn for such a wonderful tale. Every book that I have read so far has been an excellent trip through your awesome imagination. The characters are very well formed and have a lot of depth. And the world building is fantastic. I'm looking forward to Dangerous Days.

Loved it!

I am so in love with this series and so excited to see that it is expanding to new generations. I am hoping to see more updates from the "original" firsts.

Good read!

I started this with increasing dread as I realized it had vampire hunters. Surprisingly that issue was handled with some grace and little bloodshed all-told. At least this generation of firsts has learned to trust fate, believing if their love is their destined mate then it WILL happen when it is MEANT to. That removes some of the horribly dramatic angst. I like that there was non-angsty plot development here, too. The author is getting better with dialogue so there are not many soliloquies. Maybe some day I'll even feel compelled to give 5 stars! (See what I did there?)

Another one day read!

I love the series and despair each time I get close to the end of each book that comes out, knowing I have a lengthy wait for the next one. I read this latest book in less than one day. I am disappointed in myself that I couldn't save a few chapters to read later and prolong the enjoyment of reading this exceptional Author's work. Here we go again waiting for the next book.

I just hate it when I have to wait for the next book

I thank the Gods that I found Charlie and the world of the First Bloods!. I don't get anything else done when she gives us another experience in this wonderfully developed world - I missed class cuz I was so engrossed. It says a lot about an author who can keep readers enthralled 17 times. Fans of paranormal, you can never go wrong with one of Charlie's books!

Am so loving this series

And I would so recommend it to everyone. Each new character brings added mystery of these "first" vampires. I can't wait to find out Saul's back background. I would love to revisit the elders of the "Firsts" in keeping them active in all the books yet to come. Thanks C.L. Quinn for continuing this great series. Waiting for the next book is the hardest part.

A Bit Different

This series is outstanding. It's a bit different in the vampire genre, but because of that it makes them seem more human. They live, love, marry, have children and are more concerned about Mother Earth than seeing who will rule the land. It's a series you don't want to miss.

Fantastic

This series is fantastic! Usually I have to take a break and read a different book, then continue the series. Not with these books. I've read them nonstop since book 1.

I LOVE this series!

This author has built a truly remarkable world, and a whole new spin on vampires! I wouldn’t have missed it for the world! And, in fact, have read the series several times now! It’s THAT good!
