This novel is not only good, it is really awesome. I never read a so well written and compelling psychological thriller where the characters are human monsters disguised by mother, teachers and the dean of a college. I will never forget the main character, Jennifer, the daughter of a cruel mother who despises just the girl she gave birth. Strange relationship among them, but the vicissitudes endured by Jennifer at the college are even stranger. At home, the girl was closed in the attic as a punishment and the basement of the college could also be a punishment place like the one. The environment of the novel is murky, creepy, mysterious, and I remained enthralled by this gripping plot. This novel is not only very enjoyable to read, but also unforgettable.

The story was ok, I was rather intrigued with the plot, it somewhere I got lost in the story, the beginning was confusing, jumping from scene to scene, then the story took on a bit of understanding, then I was confused again, still not sure about how we got to the end...
