Holy Smokes!! Will you just look at that cover!! Mr Insatiable aka the gorgeous Kit Fawkes falls in love with Enya, his best friend’s sister in a beautiful romance set in New Zealand.
We first meet Enya and Kit at Enya’s brother Tristan’s wedding. Tris and Kit have been best friends forever and Enya has been like a kid sister to Kit for as long as he can remember. Kit has quite the reputation amongst their social set for being a very good lover and being INSATIABLE! Enya has recently broken up with her boyfriend having caught him In flagrante delicto with a friend of hers and Kit catches her in a moment of melancholy and asks her what’s up. Kit is very, very charming and with a cheeky smirk he’s able to get a rather inebriated Enya to confess that she thinks she’s terrible in bed and Kit offers to show her the ropes in a one time only deal. Cue some really very delicious hotel rolm action and the blurb is right – you will need to read with the air conditioning on.
Of course, after mind-blowing sex and life-changing orgasms, one night was never going to be enough and, with a business trip to China already planned, they allow themselves a few more nights together. Other things are at play though, Kit’s desire for a large family of his own because he’s adopted, a dark and sad secret from Enya’s past and Kit’s father attempting to influence things. I know he only had Kit’s best interests at heart but, seriously, I wanted to hurt him. Badly!!
Kit is an awesome hero. He’s good looking, charming, shit-hot in bed but he’s not arrogant about any of this – he values his friends and family, he’s very protective where Enya is concerned and wants only the best for her and delights in the responsiveness of her body when they are together despite her belief that she’s no good in bed. He’s loved her forever as a friend but, despite his succession of beautiful girlfriends, he finds something in Enya that he’s been completely unable to find anywhere else.
Enya is a bit of a sweetheart – she’s full of self-doubt, bad experiences having shattered her confidence. She’s also loved Kit forever and was worried that kissing him would feel like kissing her brother but, one brush of the lips later, and pyrotechnics are going off inside her head and she knows, straight away, that what she feels for Kit is anything but brother/sister love.
I really love friends to lovers stories – these two know each other so well and have had other relationships but they’ve never felt about anyone else they way they feel about each other. As they take their physical relationship further, stronger and deeper feelings are beginning to develop between them but Enya tries to hide away from these as she feel she’s just not what Kit needs to make him happy ever after but will Kit just let her walk away after all that they’ve shared?
It’s a great contemporary romance with some super-hot, very steamy scenes. It’s my first novel by Serenity Woods, it definitely won’t be my last.

This was a book that was a little predictable, but still an enjoyable read. The sex is hot and there is plenty of it! Enya and Kit {or should I say "Kinky Kit!"}have been family friends since she was ten years old, and have always been very close. When they attend Enya's brothers wedding, they share a kiss and sparks fly! Suddenly they no longer are thinking familial thoughts; instead they are both pondering whether to take this attraction further or not. Enya has had a trauma in her past with drastic results because of it, so she has troubles with her relationships with men. Just recently her boyfriend cheated on her and she is trying to overcome that as well. Her sexual experience is very limited, so she decides to throw caution to the wind and mentions to Kit that she needs help in the area of "loving!" They share a hot night and then decide one night will not be enough! Kit and Enya are going on a trip together for four days and have come to the conclusion; what happens on a trip - stays on a trip! They have four days of hot, passionate sex and are enjoying every minute of it! What happens to the two of them when they go home? There is one huge road block that could destroy everything that has developed between these two. Will they be able to over come it?
This read is short, but fully entertaining and the chemistry between Enya and Kit is on fire! I loved them together both romantically and for the emotional bond that they both shared. Even though Kit is "Mr. Insatiable," he also has a soft side, and he wants a wife and children so bad. Enya is a woman who I can totally respect because even though she went through something extremely traumatic, she didn't let it define who she was. She also didn't let the trauma dictate her life, and with determination she rose above it and carved a wonderful life for herself.
Even though this book does have a lot of sex in it, there is a great story with some substance to it as well. I look forward to finding out what other books Serenity Woods has written because I do like her style of writing. This is a book I would enjoy rereading down the road.

This is the second book I’ve read by Serenity Woods and just like Seven Sexy Sins, I absolutely loved it. I love the whole ‘best friends have sex then become lovers’ books and although this book is that, there’s much more to it than sex. It’s about crossing the barrier into uncharted territory and changing up your friendship status into something more. Something you’ve both wanted for years but never acted upon it. Never wanted to cross it until it was actually time to do something about it. And I’m so glad that they did!
Kit and Enya have been best friends for years. Kit is also best friends with her brother, Tristan, as well. They have seen each other in relationships, broken hearted and have always been there for one another. But at her brother’s wedding, Enya is feeling insecure having broken up with her boyfriend and that is the moment that everything shifts in the way she and Kit look at each other.
Kit shows Enya just how great sex is, how great having an orgasm is but after that one night, Enya starts to withdraw from Kit, feeling that everything can’t go back to friendship as they have crossed that barrier. But there’s a little problem, she and Kit are off to Beijing for 4 days so Kit needs to make everything okay between them before then.
And they always say, what happens in Beijing, stays in Beijing (Ok that’s not true, but they do with other places so why not Beijing?). But what happens if Kit doesn’t want that? He wants them to continue seeing one another back home? Enya wants that but with her secret, she can’t give Kit what he wants. Will Kit fight for her or just let the love of his life go?
Enya was a sweet character, but full of self-doubt. I really felt for her throughout the book. Something happened to her and its shaped her into the person she is now. As much as shes put a front on by making people think it doesn’t affect her anymore, it still does. And of course it does. I know it would with me too. But she acts like everything is fine, until Kit sees through her insecurities. He was also blinded by her front but now he’s seen her shred it, he knows shes more vulnerable than she puts on. But with Kit, he makes her see that it’s not the first thing he sees in her. He sees her for the beautiful person she is and makes her see that he’s not going to run away, because he truly wants to be with her.
Kit is a brilliant character and my new book boyfriend. I instantly fell in love with him. Sure he’s flirty and named Mr. Insatiable, and of course, he lives up to his name in the bedroom, but he’s more than that. He’s kind, considerate and is always there for his friends not matter what. He has a big heart and he has loved Enya for years. Much as she has loved him too. He knows what he wants out of life and he’s not afraid to share it. It’s way too cute when guys are upfront about wanting families. I love it. And it was also great to see a kinky character, not afraid to admit what he likes in the bedroom and how upfront he is about it and about his sex life. It certainly made better entertainment on the pages for me!
The sexual tension between these two…whew, even I could feel it through my kindle and those sex scenes. Why hellllllo Mr. Insatiable. How I wish he could come round mine and show me a thing or two. They were hot and steamy and really showed how Kit and Enya were compatible. Not just in the bedroom, but outside too. How shifting from best friends to lovers was probably always inevitable for these two.
I had an inkling in the middle of the book that the ending might happen that way. And it did! But I was so glad it worked out that way and they got their happy ending at last, despite Kit’s dad trying to interfere. Although Kit’s dad did have good reason, he was trying to protect his son from being hurt, I felt dislike for him the way he treated Enya over the whole ‘relationship’. Okay, he had fair points as to why Enya should leave him alone but at the end of the day, it’s not down to him, and Kit and Enya ended up happy together, with everything that Kit wanted in life.
This book was a great, short read. If you’re looking for a ‘friends to lovers’ book, which includes some steamy sex, but also includes some sad moments too then Mr. Insatiable is definitely your book. It takes you on a journey throughout Enya and Kit’s development into becoming lovers, Enya insecurities over it, due to her trauma but overcoming them in time and Kit’s undying love being showed to her each day. It’s a perfect read and Serenity Woods has hooked me in once again with this beautiful and sexy story!

Mr. Insatiable es un libro que leí hace tiempo. Bueno, cuando digo leer quiero decir, lectura rápida. Le leí por encima y no quise leerlo entero. No quería perder tiempo dos veces con él.
No recuerdo ya mucho de este libro pero sé que no me enamoró. Solo fue un libro más, del montón. Sin protagonistas achuchables ni nada especial. La trama es muy, muy corriente, y tira de un recurso fácil, añade mucho sexo para rellenar el libro.
Los protagonistas no me dijeron nada. Ni para bien ni para mal. Eran los dos tan robóticos, y tan prototipos. Ella era la típica chica enamorada por siempre de su amigo, la chica timida, insegura y con problemas de autoestima. Y con problemas de fertilidad (eso es nuevo, ya, pero no me gusta como llevó el tema la autora). Esa es Enya, la típica chica modosita y muy virginal que nunca ha hecho nada y que en secreto sueña con un semental que se lo enseñe todo.
¿Y quién es Kit? Pues su mejor amigo. Ese que está dispuesto a darle muchos, muchos orgasmos, y todo en nombre de la amistad. Kit lo ha hecho todo, se ha acostado con tantas mujeres que ya no puede llevar la cuenta, ha hecho trios con el hermano de Enya, vamos, el prototipo de pecador dispuesto a redimirse por la chica buena a cambio de sexo las 24 horas. Porque esta clase de chicos son como las pilas duracell, nunca se agotan, siempre están empalmados, y provocan orgasmos solo con parpadear.
Vale, no me creí a estos protagonistas. No se sintieron nunca reales y tampoco me gustaron.
Menos aún me creí la relación entre los protagonistas. Esa tensión sexual, esa química... nunca existió. Kit pasó de verla solo como una amiga a desear metérsela con desesperación en cuestión de segundos y a raiz de una conversación con Enya. NO ME CREO NADA. Después Kit y Enya solo follaban. Bien, ¿dónde estaba entonces el amor? ¿Escondido tras todos los orgasmos?
No gracias, no quiero reencontrarme con esta historia tan sosa. Hasta aquí mi corta incursión literaria con Serenity Woods.

Such a sweet and fun read. I love the friends-to-lovers trope too much to pass this up. Read it straight through and thoroughly enjoyed myself. So what it was a little predictable? I always felt that there are certain stories or tropes in romance that I'll never get tired of. And the friend-to-lovers story of Enya and Kit's is definitely one those stories.

Mr Insatiable Serenity Woods
I received this book free from publisher in exchange for an honest review. I don't gush and give false praise – I don't believe that helps readers or authors so what you read is what I truly feel about a book.
I'm new to Serenity's work but love a good romance with a bit of spice and this one was excellent. Easy to read, good fun plot and some sensual sex scenes. You need to suspend belief a bit to overcome how they get together – her male best friend teaching her about sex....but then most fiction novels have some sections of implausibility and its necessary to carry the plot along.
This has some great elements of humour in it too along with some sadness for Enya and her past experiences – I can see how they shaped her problems too and that worked well for me. I need some sadness in my romance to balance the highs – I just enjoy it better than way. Kit – well, sex on legs is a phrase one of my female friends often uses and its an accurate description of him : ) but he's kind too and not just up his own ar$e as so many good looking and popular guys are in books! I felt for both of them for what they wanted out of life and why it seemed on the surface they would work but the problems they faced would go against them.
The content warning is accurate – the sexual tension between them was definitely hot and the sex scenes well handled (pun there not intended!) Its quite a short book – I prefer longer novels but have many friends who are slow readers and love shorter books as they only read a few pages at a a time and never finish longer ones. All personal taste issues. This definitely will provide you with some light-hearted escapism for a couple of hours. It's not a keeper for me, not enough depth to it but its an enjoyable one off read.
Stars: At 156 pages for £3.25 I think its a bit expensive so that brings my star rating down from 4 to 3.5

Nice title, hot cover... and that's aobut it.
Mr. Insatiable is my first approach to Serenity Woods, and truth to be told it wasn't an incredible experience.
Though the start seemed to be quite interesting, this book turned out to be painfully boring.
I liked the fact that Enya and Kit were old friends and cared deeply about each other.
Enya is the sweet and innocent type of girl that has trust issues when it comes to men, justified by a past terrifying experience.
Kit is Enya's brother best friend and her best friend also. He's sexy, successful, and well... Mr Insatiable. Enya on the other side, has never had an orgasm and believes that it's all her fault and that she's not good in bed. Kit intends to convince her that the fault is not her's at all and that all she needs is to have sex with a person she trusts and cares deeply for. Sweet, right?
Again, a promising start.. only that it turned into not that interesting.
For a 155 pages novella, you'd expect the the book to be an intense read. Well, in my case it wasn't intense at all. It was plain boring.
About 30 pages into the book I found it difficult to remain focused and I started to skip the pages. Half way through the book I decided to quit reading it. I only got to page 100 because I wanted to give it one more chance, but I only wasted my time.
The writing was all over the place, the sex talk scenes looked rather like some kinky medical interviews and the 155 pages space (100 in my case) was just wasted.
I did not finish this book and even if the last 50 pages will turn out to be the intense reading I anticipated in the begining of the book but never got, it will still not balance the fact that I had to suffer of boredom through the rest of it.
I will probably not purchase this author's titles again.
Mr. Insatiable is my first approach to Serenity Woods, and truth to be told it wasn't an incredible experience.
Though the start seemed to be quite interesting, this book turned out to be painfully boring.
I liked the fact that Enya and Kit were old friends and cared deeply about each other.
Enya is the sweet and innocent type of girl that has trust issues when it comes to men, justified by a past terrifying experience.
Kit is Enya's brother best friend and her best friend also. He's sexy, successful, and well... Mr Insatiable. Enya on the other side, has never had an orgasm and believes that it's all her fault and that she's not good in bed. Kit intends to convince her that the fault is not her's at all and that all she needs is to have sex with a person she trusts and cares deeply for. Sweet, right?
Again, a promising start.. only that it turned into not that interesting.

***5 SCORCHING HOT-AS-HELL STARS!!!!!!!!***
Every once a awhile you come across short, but oh so sweet books that surprise you in the best of ways. This was one of those books! It was hot, and I mean pull the fire alarm hot, sweet, honest and just plain sexy! DAMN! Where you been all my life?!
And because I'm a sucker for them, it's a friends-to-lovers type. The story revolves around Kit Fawkes, a late twenty-something who's close friends with his best friend's( Tristan )sister, Enya.
They've known each other for a long time and we learn that scandalous feelings were always simmering under the surface!
While at Tristan's wedding, things get a little hot and heavy and the story basically picks up from there. There are secrets, break-ups, betrayals and buried memories that threaten to tear these two apart, but no one counted on love to make the difference.
The blurb outlining what this book is about is also quite misleading. It doesn't even touch the surface of how sweet and beautiful this story is. Kit is the dream man! He's hot, successful, sweet, honorable and quite the intense devil in bed! He shows Enya a whole new world and she is beyond smitten for him.
Despite it being a short story, it moved well and up until the last chapter didn't rush along. I wish it was longer though, because once you read that last chapter you're begging for more! I do wish there was an epliogue that could have made up for that, but no luck :(
I recommend this story to anyone looking for some lust-turned-buried-love with a Hero worth losing your panties over and a heroine we all love to envy! LOVED.THIS.LIKE.CRAZY!

What a cute, sexy read. Sometimes in romance novels, I dislike one, or both, of the leads, but I'll keep reading because the sex is well-written or the storyline is actively engaging. NOT the case here! It was short, but I appreciated that the angst was on the backburner, and not drawn out at all.
A sexy and quick scratch-your-itch read with great, surprisingly well-developed leads given the length of the novel.
I'll be back around Ms. Woods.

The reason why I docked the stars was the whole can't have children bit.
Not that I was bothered by Enya's condition - I thought it was terrible that she'd have to pay for what had happened to her. But I was NOT a big fan of how Kit's adopted family treated her like she was "damaged goods" because Kit kept saying he wanted kids of his own. So, um, they love each other to bits but they're not supposed to be together because of that? Don't you think it's THEIR decision, not someone else's?
Otherwise however, another quick and easy read!

Mr. Insatiable was an awesome read!!!
It was a sweet romance between two longtime friends. Kit is the best friend and business partner of Enya's brother, Tristan. He and Tristan's younger sister, Enya, meet again at the wedding of Kit's sister, Lisette to Enya's brother Tristan. He sought her out because he noticed her sad disposition throughout the wedding. She confides in him that she and her boyfriend (who is attending the wedding with another woman) broke up and asks him he thinks she's attractive . He reassures her that she is by giving her a kiss on the lips that changes absolutely everything about how they see and relate to each other. All of this in the first few pages so the book starts out with great chemistry!
Kit and Enya end up in bed where she learns that she has the ability to be passionate. Kit is especially sensitive to Enya's belief that she is unattractive and lacks passion because she was the victim of rape. Throughout the book you saw a portrait of unselfish love, devotion, and caring. One of the things I really enjoyed was even during the times of conflict or argument each one knew the other well enough to see the emotion behind the action. For example, when Enya pulled away Kit knew it was due to her fears and insecurities rather than a real rejection of him.
I rooted for this couple throughout the book. It was a quick read that found me crying, laughing, and reminiscing about my brother's friends and our relationships. Who among us didn't have a sibling or relative with a hot friend? The author did an excellent job of weaving the plot so that the dynamics of embarking on a new romantic relationship were contrasted with maintenance of a friendship with many years invested. I adored the book, and I marked it as one of my treasures that I will return to over and over again. It's that kind of book. Do yourself a favor and read it.

I love this kind of love story. Best Friends younger sister...... The cover is absolutely beautiful BUT I really wish the ending had not been rushed. I had already figured out what was bound to happen.... then it just happened and end of book. Still enjoyed it!

This was a sweet, short story. The ending could be predicted from earlier in the book, but it was still an enjoyable read. I really liked the best-friends-to-lovers theme, because the characters had a long history together and really knew each other.

3 1/2 stars. A little repetitive with some hot sexy stuff. Didn't get to the "kinky" that they kept alluding to. Kit proved himself to be Mr Insatiable and Enya certainly held her own. A little twist at the end rounded the story off relatively quickly.

Enya O’Donnell is at her brother Tristan’s wedding. He’s marrying her best friend but she’s feeling pretty morose. A week ago, she walked in on her boyfriend in bed with another woman, and he’s at the wedding as they don’t want their breakup to dampen Tris’ day.
Tris’ best friend, Kit Fawkes, notices she’s not as happy as she should be. He and Tris have a firework company that’s doing really well but his exes say that the real fireworks happen in the bedroom with Kit.
Enya has heard this and wonders just what it’d be like to not have to fake an orgasm. She can look after herself, but she’s never had one with a partner.
Drunk at the wedding, she tells Kit this, and he offers to help her out.
