We love this book! It has a lot of fun facts and comparisons that are easy for kids to understand. Plus it has an index of everything mentioned so if we are doing another study, we can look it up in the index and use this book as a great reference

When I saw Harvest House announce via Instagram that they were taking sign-ups for the launch team of their book Bible Infographics for Kids, I jumped at the opportunity to participate. Since I have a two-year-old and a baby on the way, I get very excited when I learn about books that are designed to help children understand and love God's word. Once I received an email stating that I had been selected to be on the launch team I couldn't wait to receive my book - I'm a sucker for great graphics and solid theology. My excitement grew upon receiving my copy of the book simply by reading the premise on the back cover which states, "The Bible is far from boring." I wanted to shout a hearty, "Yes!" in agreement. One of the first things I really came to appreciate about this book is that while the target audience is children, it's not exclusively for children. I love that Bible Infographics for Kids provides information from both the Old and New Testaments it seems to help provide a broad overview of the Bible as a whole and how it all works together. Although I'm not a kid, I thoroughly enjoyed reading each section of the book and learned many new things I hadn't previously known. One such tidbit can be found on page 33 in the section about Jesus's Family Tree. It states, "Jesus's LEGAL right to David's throne, which can come only from the father's lineage is fulfilled through Joseph" and "Jesus fulfills His PHYSICAL right to David's throne through Mary." Prior to reading this, I didn't know that Jesus also had lineage through Mary. Another section I really enjoyed was the one on the book of Daniel (pg. 28-29) which contrasts those who humble themselves vs. those whom God humbles. Overall, I really enjoyed Bible Infographics for Kids and believe you will too! Along with the serious facts, there were some silly ones that were still just as interesting to learn about.
I received Bible Infographics for Kids compliments of Harvest House in exchange for my honest review.

I got this book after first reading volume 2 of Bible infographics for kids. The second volume was so good that I thought I should buy the first volume. The book certainly met my expectation. This is a fun and informative book that kids will enjoy and they will learn from it about the Bible and what the Bible teaches through its many pictures, graph and charts. Harvest House Publishers did a good job with this one!
The subtitle is somewhat long but gives readers a clue of some of the contents covered in this book: “Giants, Ninja Skills, a talking donkey and what’s the deal with the tabernacle?” Two of my favorite sections of the book include “How Can You be Sure Jesus is the Chosen One?” and “Jesus is Crucified.” I appreciated “How Can You be Sure Jesus is the Chosen One?” because it neatly presents Messianic prophecies and summarizes the reason why Jesus is the Messiah. There’s an apologetics’ value here. I also appreciated the details of Jesus’ crucifixion in the book since as Christians the death of Christ is something we can never grow cold in learning about. Other notable section include the first chapter that discussed how the Bible is an amazing book. There’s also a Bible Board Game that summarizes the flow of biblical redemptive history and also what one have learned from the book. My girls loved the board game and from time to time even after we completed reading the book they would ask me to play the board game in this book (it is simple enough for my young daughters between ages 4-7 to play with though the youngest needs additional help and guidance).
I recommend it!

This book is so cool! The entertaining visuals with the way that it's laid out with all of the bible facts make learning fun for kids and adults! I'm learning things as I read through it with my 3.5 year old. One of our favorite pages is the "Unique Characters" layout that highlight some interesting facts that aren't some of the "big ones" that bible books usually focus on. This book is a great way to engage your kids in a fun way (there's even a board game in the middle of the book!), and it also teaches them faith-based facts! This is definitely a unique book that I'd highly recommend! I received an advanced copy from the publisher and am leaving my honest opinion about the contents.

I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher and I’m leaving my honest opinion about the contents. This book is wonderful. It moves through the Bible chronologically which i love, touching on all the major topics. This book is biblically accurate and points to Jesus. There’s a fold out board game in the middle that can be played with one or more people that is REALLY awesome! I wish this book were longer and I’m looking forward to seeing what goes into volume 2!

This fact-filled library find was a great addition to our Bible study time. This book is filled with Bible story timelines, graphics, and scripture references. We used this to work through the genealogy of Christ and during our study of Revelation. This was mainly used with my older students but the younger ones liked the graphics. This would be a good addition for a home library, church library, or youth Sunday School class. We recommend for ages 9 and up.

Very cool. Incorporates a lot of history. We would have loved this as kids. Parents should note that it will say things like "traditionally it has been thought that ..." about some Biblical history, so be prepared for more than your average Sunday School lesson discussion.

I am a sucker for a good infographic. This colorful and delightfully illustrated book is geared towards children, but it is so amazing for any age. So many people are Biblically illiterate and seeing facts laid out in such an appealing and detailed way is appealing in this graphic age.
