Rebel is a standalone 50k word MC Romance set in the Boneyard Brotherhood Universe.
When I joined the force after coming back from the sandbox, I didn't expect my day to day life would be anything but routine. It wasn't. I was barely more than a rookie when I was tapped to go undercover with some biker gang made up of other veterans... the "Boneyard Brotherhood" they called themselves. While my partner Tara posed as my "pretend girlfriend", we were tasked with finding evidence the sheriff could use to convict the members. It seemed easy enough.

It wasn't though. Things soon got complicated, both at the Boneyard and between Tara and me. I had feelings for both. The members of the brotherhood had become just that, brothers and I wanted to drop the "pretend" from my status with Tara. But it was only a matter of time before the Boneyard found out I was a plant, and I was going to get stung.

❤~🌟~❤ 4.5 ENTERTAINING STARS!❤~🌟~❤

Amber Burns ends her Boneyard Brotherhood MC trilogy with a BANG!!! I have enjoyed each and every one of the standalone books in this riveting series and REBEL truly tied up loose ends and left me with a sweet sigh of satisfaction!

THE STORY:
Without giving too much juicy plot away, Chase acclimates to civilian life after a long stint in the military and finds new purpose as a cop. His job leads him to an undercover stint in the Boneyard Brotherhood to gather Intel for the sheriff and a pretend romance ignites into the real deal when his pretty as a picture partner, Tara, goes along for the ride, posing as his adoring “girlfriend.” But as time goes on the lines between love and loyalty, sworn duty and the fierce bonds of friendship become terribly blurred. Especially since the biker gang, which is mostly comprised of war veterans, feels like home to Chase. Can he bring down the members of the club that has welcomed him with open arms or is there another way out of this whole sordid mess? You gotta listen to find out but this story is packed with juicy drama, suspense, raw emotion, and some sexy times to boot!

MY MUSINGS:
I thoroughly enjoyed this entertaining audio listen of REBEL: Boneyard Brotherhood MC, narrated once again to sheer perfection by Gideon Welles. His deep, growly baritone is SEXY AS SIN and his sensitive depiction was perfect for the role of the world weary war veteran turned undercover cop hero. He just nails the macho, alpha male persona to a T, and he brought such humanity into this uniquely nuanced character of Chase, evoking such deep emotions in me that it took my breath away! And he did a lovely job with the various other characters as well.

As for the story, I thought the author did a marvelous job conveying Chase’s inner struggle between his chosen career as a lawman, and his fierce allegiance to the Boneyard MC…a group of brothers who made him feel truly accepted and a part of something worthwhile. The escalating drama as he gets in way over his head, torn between two worlds, had me on the edge of my seat.

I also enjoyed his on-again/off-again relationship with his partner/pseudo girlfriend Tara. Though the romance was more in the background than I would have liked, the scenes this feisty duo did share were fun and sexy and achingly tender, and I thought they had AMAZING chemistry. I got a real kick out how Tara always gave Chase a hard time about his scraggly appearance! And it was a hoot how they were constantly bickering in the bedroom too! Ultimately, there was a realness to this couple that I found incredibly refreshing and their HEA truly tugged at my heartstrings!

BOTTOM LINE:
It’s sad to bid adieu to the Boneyard Brotherhood series but I couldn’t have asked for a more winsome finale!

Rebel Boneyard Brotherhood MC, Book 3 By: Amber Burns I love me some hot bikers, so much so I married one. Rebel is a standalone  in the Boneyard Brotherhood series. It features Chase Miller. Chase is a Army Veteran and also a cop. He is chosen to go undercover in the Boneyard Brotherhood MC Club to get the goods on the group and to take them down. The problem with this is Chase becomes more comfortable with the club and the members then he has ever been anywhere else or with anyone else, and doesn't want to get evidence against them. His Partner Tara is supposed to act as his girlfriend, but this turns into more as well.

Amber Burns has done an awesome job with this book. I loved how she actually took the bikers side of the story. In real life a lot of bikers get a bad rap over a few rough biker gangs. When in reality there are a lot of really good groups. Living among bikers myself I know all to well well that you can go to pretty much anyone of these people and they would give you the shirt off their backs. They are all like family. Even some of the not so straight bikers are the same way.

Gideon Welles narrates the audiobook and really hit home with this story. His voices and emotion really brought the story to life.

I listened to this book during an 8 hour drive to visit my daughter and it really helped pass the time and miles. I am looking forward to the listening or reading rest of this series.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review

Chase returns home from his military career and needs to start civilian life. He becomes a cop, but soon into his new chosen path, it is decided to put him undercover into the Boneyard Brotherhood. Little did Chase know how this move would change his life. Like many veterans, Chase suffered mentally upon his return, and really had no idea how severe. When put in this Club, he finally found a sense of understanding and belonging. With his partner Tara, both at work and home he has to make decisions. Will he be able to take down this Club that he has grown attached to? Will he warn them of impending arrests? Will he be found out and extracted? There are many questions that are in this story, but the wrap of the situation is well thought out and executed. Amber Burns understands this kind of situation, and writes a compelling drama with a splash of romance bringing much needed attention to our veterans. I love the brotherhood and how they look out for each other, it's a true testament to their ties and commitment. I also enjoy the interaction of characters from the previous two books, especially Cole, the tough enforcer that he is! This is a great addition to her series.

Continuing narration with the same voice is always a pleasure. We get to know the characters by that voice, and for this story, Gideon Welles is key. His raspy, deep sound is perfect for these incredibly, masculine men of the brotherhood.

*** AUDIO BOOK REVIEW ***
** SPOILER IF HAVENT READ PREVIOUS 2 BOOKS IN SERIES**
This was another great book in this MC series. But this one was way different than the others. This one is about Chase. Already from book 2, Enforcer, we suspect that he is an undercover cop. (If you haven't read the other books, stop and go now) Now we know that he is and even though I wanted to be against him, because in the MC biker club world an undercover cop is a rat, I ended up totally loving him. I get he was put into a job he didn't want. He was just doing his job. But this is not your typical undercover cop story. No way. Like the other members of this club he found what he needed in The Brotherhood. But now Chase doesn't know what to do. He doesn't want to expose the club for anything that may be illegal but not bad. He also is dealing with his partner who thinks he's lost sight and also his attraction to her. Then something happens I didn't expect and this story went in a direction I didn't see coming but loved. This is a great MC story. Get ready to feel conflicted between your love for Chase and your dedication to The Brotherhood. I guarantee you won't be able to put this book down (or stop listening in my case).

Absolutely Loved this Book
I was pulled into this book right from the beginning, staying there until I had read every single word that was written. I even had my mini movie playing along in my head.
Twists, turns and surprises await you within the pages of this story, some of the surprises are large, while others aren't. Some you may see coming where as others you won't. Some may pull on your heart strings and others may hit you square in the face, regardless of how the surprises are found, each and every single one of them holds equal importance. None of them will disappoint you.
The emotions that the characters go through in the story can be felt. I actually went through the emotions along with the characters. I did find that a time or two I really wanted to smack a couple of the characters, but they redeemed themselves in the end.
This is the first book of Amber Burns I have read, I highly recommend both amber burns as a author and this book. So worth reading and I don't think you will regret it.
This book is also available on audible and it is fantastic.

My Thoughts on Rebel

This was my third book in this series written by Amber Burns and once again it was a pretty enjoyable story.

An undercover officer finds himself relating to the group of bikers he was sent to infiltrate. He's torn between loyalty to them and loyalty to his badge and job, especially when his partner and pretend girlfriend are getting closer and connecting more then either of them planned.

Overall this was a pretty good story. I especially liked how everything wrapped up at the end.

The narrator occasionally confused me when he was in "the heat of the moment" because I couldn't tell which which of the two he was voicing. And I still think initially he sounded a bit older then the character needed, but after a while I just moved beyond it and got into the story.

I'm curious if the author will continue the series and who might be next from the brotherhood.

I was given this as an ARC for an honest review. Chase is like multiple men that get discharged from the military, they are trying to move on from what they witnessed in the sand box and move on with their life. He is sent undercover to a motorcycle group made of Veterans. He builds a close bond with the brotherhood as well as his partner Tara. Amber Burns brings attention to Veterans suffering from PTSD and how it affects them out of the military. Hopefully it helps get rid of the stigma that Veterans face once they get discharged while they deal with PTSD. The relationship with Tara is a slow burn and is just right for this story. Tara is extremely supportive of Chase and his pursuit of him finding himself and righting himself. The bond between Chase and the brotherhood is unlike any story I have read! Amber Burns definitely knocked this one out of the park!

this book was a little better than the previous two. Surprisingly, the heroine wasn’t some little mousy prude. She was strong and smart and an equal to her partner. The story coincides with the previous story so to understand what’s going on… I would recommend at least reading Enforcer first. THAT IS, IF, you actually get through Overhaul. A little more mystery and intrigue here as far as the story goes and it seems the author is starting to get the hang of what an MC is. A little bit but not completely. It’s still very rough. However, the brotherhood part begins to come together more. Unfortunately, I still don’t get chemistry from the couple and I don’t get any heat from the sex scenes. They are just kind of there. Once again with that very same narrator. He’s almost like nails on a chalkboard at this point.

I voluntarily received and reviewed an Exclusive Copy of this book for an honest review.
Chase Miller, an ex-Army personnel but a cop for two years was given an assignment to filtrate the Boneyard Brotherhood MC for illegal activities. Tara Dunn is a cop and Chase partner when on patrol, however, she was assigned to go undercover with Chase as his girlfriend. Chase found out the Boneyard Brotherhood is not what his Captain was expecting the club to be and his assignment allowed him to fine his true calling. Chase wanted the family and brotherhood he long for. The story was refreshing and the characters are interesting and intriguing. A great addition to the series.

AUDIOBOOK edition

Another great addition to the series in the same lighter MC-mode as the previous books but with a little more edge though. From soldier to cop to brother in the MC club, it almost feels like a natural evolution for Chase. I was not sure about Tara for a while and was thinking it might not be a lasting relationship. In the end, it worked out and we got their HFN ending. A mix of romance, a few suspenseful moments, and what I liked the most is the strong bond and loyalty of the brotherhood that the club members have for each other. - 4 stars
Mr. Welles did another great audio, I enjoy listening to the many voices he gives to the characters. Always a pleasure. - 5 stars

Chase, ex-military, is a cop and given an undercover assignment to infiltrate the Boneyard Brotherhood MC. His girlfriend Tara is also an undercover cop. When their fake relationship turns into something more will Chase still be able to do his job. Not only is he torn about how he really feels for Tara he is starting to feel like he really belongs in the club. This is a great story. I really like how Chase was conflicted between the Brotherhood and his real job it made the story more believable. I received this Exclusive ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.

Chase is a cop who has been assigned to work undercover in the Boneyard Brotherhood MC. This MC comprises of ex-military...Chase is ex-Army. The job is to dig up illegal activity by the MC but after a year, Chase is finally feeling accepted somewhere and does not want to report anything. Not to mention that his relationship with partner, Tara, has become more. Chase has a decision to make...will he turn in his MC brothers or quit the force? Love the ending...true family never gives up on you.

Rebel (Boneyard Brotherhood MC #3) was a good red by Amber Burns. Chase Miller joined the police force after returning from the military. While a rookie, he is ordered to go undercover with a biker gang made up of veterans. His partner Tara poses as his "pretend girlfriend". They are told to find evidence that can be used to convict the members. Things get complicated from the beginning. He wants to be a member of the club but also wants a relationship with Tara. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

This is book three in the Boneyard Brotherhood MC Romance. This book is about Wilson who is a cop who goes undercover with a motor cycle gang. His 'pretend' girlfriend Tara was really is police partner. Their attraction kept growing and he wanted to drop the pretend status from girlfriend and biker member. Great story with a strong storyline and likable characters. I received an advance reader copy and voluntarily chose to review this book.

Loved this book! I'm really into reading MC books lately, but must say, this one was completely different (as far as the plot goes). I really enjoyed how Chase forged relationships within the brotherhood, and felt his pain as he was faced with decisions he really didn't want to make. The heat between Chase and Tara was HOT! This is a must read, Amber Burns killed it with this story.

I was provided an ARC of this book. This is my honest opinion :)

When I realised this story was about the "traitor" I was worried there wouldn't be a happy ever after, but I should have known better. Chase and Tara's story is fraught with danger but they get there in the end. I was delighted with the decision Chase made, I was hoping that was the way he would go. I wish Amber would write more stories about the Boneyard Brotherhood, so many interesting characters to write about.

Uncovered

We met Miller in a previous book. He is sent undercover into the Brotherhood and his partner Tara is his alleged girlfriend. What he finds is a brotherhood and a family with the guys and it's not all what he preconceived a MC to be. He found what he was missing after leaving the Army

Ohhhh I love it

Such a great book. I have loved the other books in this series and this one is no different. I wanted more because I still have questions but that's no different from most books I read. I want to know the characters more and more.
The author does an amazing job of pulling you in so you want to know everything. Where are they now?

Stuck til the End!

This was very good. It had me intrigued to the end. This was a different MC story than what I'm used to. Cop turn biker...more intense than the normal MC's I'd ever read.

I enjoyed the story about Miller and the brotherhood. The relationship between Tara and him was not really the main focus of the book, which was good even for a romance. I still think the author needs a proof reader, that is why I couldn't give it a 4 star review.

This was a sweet little read, very tame for an MC book, but it can't all be trouble and strife. The characters were appealing and very down to earth and the storyline had a different perspective than other MC books with the view from another side.
