I keep getting these free romances to read - no wonder my Kindle thinks that I am gay. I read these romances hoping that I can improve my dialogue in my writing.
This story is set near where I live which is enjoyable as I like reading about familiar places. This story features a straight line plot with no cheating, no cliffhangers and a HEA ending. About halfway through the book I wanted to slap both main characters for being so damned stupid.
Each character was so afraid of putting themself out there that they tried a bunch of stupid evasion tactics before admitting that they loved each other. Granted as what usually happens the woman realizes she is in love long before the man pulls his head from his rectum and realizes that he too is in love.
I know that I am not the target audience of this book so perhaps I am missing some of the subtleties that a woman would catch.
Play Me by J.H. Croix is book 4 in her Brit Boys Sports Romance. In this book we are introduced to Tristan and Daisy. Tristan is a doctor is who on the mend from a sports injury. Right now he's stepping in for a fellow doctor who is out on vacation for a few months. Tristan likes to keep things pretty straight forward. No relationships. He's had a couple bad experiences that have left a bad taste in his mouth and he just prefers to have sex with no attachments. Too bad he remembers Daisy Knight all too well. They had a close encounter a couple years before and now here he's run into her, after her constantly dodging him. Too bad Daisy is looking for Mr. Right and a relationship while Tristan is just looking for sex and nothing else. But can time with Daisy change his mind? The chemistry was always off the charts between them. Play Me is a steamy romance that is mostly full of energy. You get the sense that while Tristan may not have been a playboy, that he has definitely gotten around with the ladies. He makes it clear from the beginning that they are not expect anything from him beyond great sex. No thinking of trying to tie him into a relationship, nothing. Daisy has been looking for two things - that big "o" that eludes her and she wants a commitment. She's tired of the friends with benefits game and wants to settle down. She's been looking for the right guy for so long but has yet to find him. She's never forgotten Tristan but she also knows his reputation. Despite all this she's drawn to him and the spark between them is only looking to further ignite. Will they each put aside their fears and take that step or will it just be the same old same old? Daisy is a strong character but she's very relatable to me. She's focused on her work and beginning to despair of finding that right guy. She remembers that one kiss from Tristan but she knows all too well about him, too. You can feel her eagerness and at the same time her reluctance to get involved with him. But when he makes a bet with her she's willing to take that chance. Tristan is back and forth in his head about her but it's an internal struggle. They share mutual friends who want the best for her but don't want him to hurt her. This book is full of dynamics all the way around that engage you throughout the story. This book flows really well for the most part. There were a couple months of where I lost interest in the story but regained it. It just became a bit listless for me but then it got back in gear. I like how we see the dynamics between the two and how strong the chemistry is. You can tell that they are meant to be together and that they just need to stop fighting themselves and their fears. I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. I really enjoyed reading it and look forward to more works from this author in the future. I received a copy of this in exchange for an unbiased review.
Do you know that feeling of wanting to keep reading and reading until your eyes hurt? I know that I'm being dramatic but I really don't care. When I finished her latest release I knew that I wanted more and the waiting was agonizing. Lol And have you had the chance to see the covers of her books? If you haven't get ready to drool. Ah ah ah J.H. Croix writing is sassy, hot, real and addictive because once you start you will not be able to stop. Play Me is her newest release and explores the lifes of Daisy and Tristan. Tristan is a soccer player that was transferred from England to the US. But don't let that pretty face trick you because he's also graduated from Medical School. Since he knew that his soccer player career wasn't going to last forever he wanted to be helpful and he thought why not. He's a player in and out of the field. Lol. No relationships just some random encounters. He's currently working on a research clinic and he can't belive the woman that's working with him... Daisy is the lead medical researcher at the same company Tristan works for. She seeks commitment, love and intimacy all things that Tristan can't give her so that's why she got away from him a year ago. And now he's back into her life and she's scared... Such a beautiful book. I knew it would be but I didn't imagine the intensity of it. The way the book was written, the way the story was told left me wanting more and more. The plot is amazing and the interaction between the characters is intense, beautiful and so insane sometimes. The chemistry between the characters was tumultuous and I loved every minute of it. It's hard to ignore the feeling that can sweep the rug from under your feet so it's better to trust your heart and don't runaway. J.H. Croix you are amazing and this series is freaking awesome. Will you keep writing about them or not? It was so good to have news from the other couples of this series. Loved it dearly. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Tristan and Daisy's story is complicated, to say the least. They share an overwhelming, if somehow forbidden, attraction as they work together. Also, Daisy wants to commit, which Tristan doesn't ... Ms. Croix has managed perfectly to pair these two such contrasting characters. Her masterful ability to portray the intricate paths it takes for these two protagonists to find their happily ever after makes the book compelling and impossible to put down.
This 4th book's story line was okay. I liked the chemistry in this story. I liked hot & steamy scenes. I liked Daisy's character. I liked Tristan's character. I liked the ending.
Tristan and Daisy were absolutely perfect! I loved everything about them! So happy that Daisy found the right guy! Tristan and her made perfect sense for one another! 😘💙
The Brit Boys Sports series is about four British men who now play soccer in the United States, and three of them have unexpectedly found love. Tristan Wells enjoys talking with women and he definitely has a rewarding sex life, but he has no desire to be in a lasting relationship. Any sexual encounters bring him pleasure, and he makes certain his partner is also satisfied but there is never any emotional connection. But the one time he kissed Daisy Knight has never been forgotten, and Tristan thinks they could have a very gratifying time together if he can just get her to agree. How the lives of this couple are changed following one conversation is expertly handled by J.H. Croix, where feelings and pleasurable fulfillment become entangled. I have adored Tristan since he was first met, and Daisy’s outspoken conduct has caused lots of smiles. Their own story is one I have been greatly anticipating, and PLAY ME never disappoints.
Even though Tristan Wells is a professional soccer player for the Seattle Stars, he still made time to get a medical degree. When he hurt his knee and had to quit playing for a season, he took over the task of managing a clinic which does research. A new study is ready to start, and Tristan is delighted upon realizing Daisy Knight will be working with him. The two met because of shared friends, and he definitely remembers their long-ago heated kisses.
While Daisy appears to ignore the strong attraction between them, Tristan wants to discover if her feelings are the same as his. During a conversation, he learns she wishes for two things in the future, and he is more than willing to be the first man who helps her attain an orgasm. But the idea of being in a committed relationship is certainly not for Tristan, or at least it was not until more time is spent with Daisy.
There is something about a man who does not show much emotion that makes me wants to see him lose control, and I got my wish multiple times in PLAY ME. Whenever Tristan is around Daisy, his normal mindset is overruled by lust, and I so enjoyed watching how he could not think clearly when around her. Both are intelligent people, but they could certainly become rattled when near each other. There is a wide range of emotions expressed in the story, and the intensity of every sentiment let me also experience the moment along with the characters. Whether Tristan and Daisy are blissfully happy or feeling confused and even upset, I was able to sense their inner thoughts and hopes. Since he has something to prove to her, sex between them is off-the-charts scorching all throughout PLAY ME.
It was also wonderful to catch up with all the past couples in the series, and any time these individuals got into discussions with Tristan or Daisy, their comments could be hilarious or very insightful. I have been thoroughly entertained by all the situations that have been compellingly brought to life by J.H. Croix in the Brit Boys Sports series, and I loved how everything played out in the fourth book.
I voluntarily reviewed the book, and all comments are my honest opinion
Oh these Brit Boys how they make me love Soccer (Football) players. This is book 4 in the series by J H Croix and it is heart melting and panty wetting to say the least. This books gives us Tristan and Daisy and both are very intelligent, control type personalities. Neither wants to lost their control of any situation. They share mutual friends so they have been thrown together for a few years now and a year ago the chemistry between them heated to boiling. Daisy broke the spell and fled and has avoided Tristan for the last year. Skipping out on friend gatherings if he was going to be there just to avoid being close to him. No one has ever made her feel the way he does and she knows he is not the relationship type of man that she is looking for so she works hard at not getting in the same vicinity as him. Tristan looks at sex as just that, no strings attached, no feelings involved. He is very upfront with the women he has arrangements with as to not mislead anyone. He is extremely attracted to Daisy but he also knows she is looking for long term. She wants a husband, kids and happily ever after and that just isn’t him. Well fast forward and the two collide and the heat is still there for both of them. Tristan throws down the gauntlet and challenges Daisy to have dinner with him, she accepts and then throws him a challenge of her own, not thinking he would accept.
I voluntarily read this as part of the ARC and this is my honest opinion. I absolutely love this book. Lots of women will be able to relate to Daisy and you will all fall in love with Tristan. They have a fantastic story and JH takes us on the journey with them. I am a huge fan of this author and love all her books, highly recommend all of them. This is a standalone book that is part 4 of the series. You do not have to read the first 3 to read this one but trust me you will want to; they are all fabulous. There is no cliffhanger here either, which we all hate so no cliffy. I will not give any spoilers away as I hate that but I will say there are many challenges along the way for these two and LOTS AND LOTS of heat in the sheets. I loved it and think you will to.
Tristan and Daisy are often together, since her two best friends are married to two of his soccer teammates, but after they share an explosive kiss she’s managed to avoid him for the past year. Now that he’s putting his medical training to use overseeing a clinical trial at the hospital, and Daisy is the one handling clinical trials for her pharmaceutical company, there will be no more avoiding Tristan. Their chemistry is undeniable, but she wants a commitment and he doesn’t do relationships.
I’ve been eager to read Tristan’s story so I was happy to get my hands on an advance copy. He Intrigued me in the previous book since he was both a professional soccer player and working on becoming a medical doctor. And I absolutely adored both Tristan and Daisy. They’re both brilliant and talented while still coming across as human and believable.
Play Me is another terrific addition to the Brit Boys Sports Romance series. As we’ve come to expect from this author, the plot is well thought out and the storyline is engaging, interesting and perfectly paced. She has a way of setting the scene so the reader experiences things right along with the characters, from hearing the sexy British accents of the “boys” to seeing and feeling the gray rainy days in Seattle. (And a personal thank you for including the glass art scene in the Pacific Northwest. As a lamp work glass artist, I was tickled to read that scene!)
One of the things I really appreciated about this book is the way the author managed to create a conflict without having strong, mature, intelligent characters do something weak, immature or stupid. That’s certainly a sign of quality writing. And the scene where the conflict is finally resolved? Classic, beautiful and so moving! With Tristan and Daisy standing in the rain, it’s like the scene was taken right out of Breakfast at Tiffany’s and I could hear Moon River playing in the background! (Or The Notebook, if you prefer something not quite so classic.) Another excellent work by Ms. Croix – fun, emotional, steamy and satisfying!
Be ready for a whirlwind of an amazing story. J.H. Croix will take you on a journey through her words and make it so real that you can picture everything crystal clear like a motion picture. I have read all books of every series and she continues to blow me away with each book. Tristan and Daisy have known each other for years through their mutual friends. After a hot make out session that ended so abruptly a year ago Daisy has avoided Tristan expertly until she met the temporary doctor overseeing her research studies. Tristan has forgotten how much Daisy affects him until he runs into her, literally. There is so much chemistry between these two that they should be quarantined. The problem is Daisy wants it all, the commitment, love, children and the elusive O, and Tristan does not to relationships... too messy. When Tristan learns of the elusive O, a gauntlet is thrown down and with the agreement of thirty days together neither expect the outcome that is guaranteed to be delivered as only J.H. Croix can deliver. I LOVED this book and highly recommend it. The dialog between these two strong willed people will leave you shaking your head one minute, laughing the next and fanning yourself after. With the POV from both you know what each is thinking and feeling, and no cliffhanger. Even with receiving the ARC I purchased this book to have in my collection and to support an amazing author. Thank you J.H. Croix for your time and the love you put in each story. A solid ten stars in my opinion!!!!
Just when I thought J.H. Croix couldn't top the last three books this author blows it out of the water and comes up with another story that makes me think and go...WOW...BLOODY AMAZING....WOW. This story had me from page 1 and wouldn't let me go till I was done with Tristan and Daisy's story. Tristan doesn't do relationships and is very upfront with every woman he is casual with, he doesn't do messy that comes with emotions in a relationship. Daisy wants it all though and every one of her relationships has never been satisfying so when Tristan offers to satisfy her...how can she turn him down. But she wants a commitment as well but agrees to his terms...one month, exclusive only them two and will revisit their agreement after the one month....how could any sane woman deny that!! But what happens after the month? I LOVED LOVED this story and this author has a way of telling a story w/o too much drama from outside forces or between them but concentrates on the two main characters and their developing relationship, telling both POV's of their thoughts and feelings which left me sighing and swooning and hoping that my kindle wouldn't melt with the sparks, attraction and heat between these two. All four of these Blokes and their women from this series I fell in love with and I can't chose which one of them or their stories is my favorite....they are all GREAT !! Even though I received an ARC of this book I HAD to buy it as with all the others...it's that BLOODY AMAZING. 10 +++++ stars
Not much to say here! A very hot a steaming romance between Tristan and Daisy the main characters. A very well written story were the usage of the words makes is so real that you feel you are there with the characters. It is a great chemistry between the main characters and it is very well described. You have met Tristan and Daisy in the three previous books in this serie. Here they have tried to avoid each other and have not had the guts to go for it. They are both into each other but have different sight of what a relationship is - they think. They make a deal of one month and then they will leave with no strings attached. The story in this book is much about their relationship and their monologue. There is not much else to it but it is enough to make it an enjoyable read but because of that I think you should have read the previous three books to get the whole picture of this group of friends and to get the impression that this story is enough for you. I can only recommend this book because it has a lot to give you. There is steamy chemistry, hot scenes, a football/doctor alpha male, passion, banter between the main characters, I love that this book is written in dual POV because then you get to now all the aspects. If you like to read about two people who have to find themselves and what the really want, this is the book for you.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book
That was an experience! I love a book that curls me up in a ball getting me as close to my Kindle as possible as if I needed to feel the same intense connection as the characters are that exact moment. I am pretty sure I was in the fetal position throughout 70% of Play Me, how could I not? With it's off the charts white hot intensity it gave me goosebumps! Avoidance is what Daisy has been doing for a year, trying to avoid messy- however hard it has been to avoid messy, and no matter how much she wanted to explore messy she kept her distance knowing it was the right thing to do- she needed more than messy was willing to provide. Until Daisy and messy collided... Tristan, once the two connect- all rational reasoning seems to only come in small doses. What she needs and wants are different from his, but the offer he has made her is very appealing, and neither can deny the electrifying connection. Can her heart handle the fallout from his proposed plan? Will Tristan want’s be the same in the end? This all encompassing, making up for lost time romance is a well written, detailed beast of hotness, fun and emotional hang-ups had me hooked from the first page left me wanting more at the end! The second book I have read by the unique J.H Croix, I have to say this author is quickly becoming a favorite of mine! Standalone, Dual POV #ONECLICK material
This book scores! Sizzling Romance with a Shelf-Life!?
Wow! I love this series, and Tristan and Daisy are among my favorites!
If you're looking for your next read, this one should be downloaded immediately. Ms. Croix sure knows how to write smoking hot romance with characters that will make you wish you could transport yourself into their world and dialogue that will make you constantly sigh!
Daisy and Tristan are familiar friends from the previous books in the series (but you can read this as a standalone). Daisy is after the all elusive "big O" ... and a commitment. Tristan isn't into commitments, but he's willing to help Daisy out with the "O" part of her mission! Once they realize that they sizzle together, they give themselves a month before they move back into the friend zone.
.... or will they? Daisy and Tristan have chemistry outside of the bedroom where they find that they are colleagues at a research hospital. Tristan, despite being a sportsman, is taking time when he's injured to work on wrapping up his medial degree commitments. Friends from previous books are a key part of the story, and make you wish you could walk into their bar.
I am a huge fan of Ms. Croix. My re-read list is dominated by her books ... and this series is my "go to."
This is the 2nd Brit Boys book I have read and I loved it just as much as the first. The books can stand alone although previous characters do appear in the later books. This book is the story of Tristan, a confirmed bachelor and Daisy, a believer in a forever mate. These two met a year ago and shared a mind-blowing kiss and then Daisy ran and has been avoiding Tristan ever since until their mutual work throws them together. Tristan is a love-them-and-leave-them-happy type of guy who definitely does not want to settle down. Even though he has seen three of his friends settle down with one lady, he swears that he won't succumb. Daisy has always wanted to be a part of a forever relationship which is the reason that she has been avoiding Tristan. Daisy knows that Tristan doesn't plan to ever do forever so because their kiss rocked her world she plans to not tempt fate. Then their medical research groups them together for a study and Tristan winds up proposing that they become friends with benefits for a month at which time the benefits part will end or will it? Can Daisy really be with Tristan and not fall deeply in love with him and not get hurt? Will this month finally convince Tristan that being with one woman forever is not as bad as he believes? Read the book to find out the answers. You won't be disappointed.
Calling Dr Tristan calling Dr Tristan. The footballer and a medical Dr what more can a woman ask for. You get a guy doesn't do drama messy relationships everything has a time and a place. He is so set in his ways but should I say he completely compartmentalized a lot of his life and his sex life it's no different notice I didn't call it a love life.
In today see a woman who has been left sexually want to but doesn't stop her from looking for Mr permanent. A whole her friends have hooked up with different guys on the football team but she still the single person out. She's decided to take a break from dating hoping that Mr Right forever will come to her. Thanks have a way of not working out and changes happening when you least expect it.
This book was interested in that Tristan didn't believe he was the settling down type of kind of guy he had made plans for his life and he planned on following them. . Daisy on the other hand was chipper happy and looking to settle down with the right guy for her who could give her commitment love and babies and hopefully forever.
This book was a good as the others in the serious what should I say stand-alone assortment.
Wow! Another score by Ms. Croix. Play me is steamy and so hot with a great story line. I finished the book a week ago and I’m still fanning myself. It’s also one of her books that you just can’t put down. I finished it in a day because I had to know what was going to happen.
Tristan and Daisy have been dancing around their attraction for a year now. The other books in the series have mentioned the sexual tension between these two and it explodes in this book. Tristan is calm, cool, and collected, nothing gets to him, until he meets Daisy. Oh, and did I mention he’s a doctor and a professional soccer player? Brains and a hot body?! Daisy is beautiful and smart. She’s attracted to Tristan but she also knows he’s not into relationships. They have one explosive kiss and then she avoids him for a year; which is hard to do as they have a lot of mutual friends.
However, then she ends up overseeing a research project for her company that’s doing clinical trials at the hospital and Tristan is overseeing that department. Sparks fly, but will Tristan realize he wants more than just one-night stands? Will Daisy finally get her HEA?
Tristan is a British Soccer player who had to take time off sports after an ACL injury to the knee. He got his Ph.D. in the meantime and works at the research facility for a hospital. He's a typical guy in a romance for not wanting to settle down and is discrete about who he dates. He lays it out before getting involved and hates drama. In walks Daisy, a blast from the past, and he's into her. So into her that he starts to spend all his nights with her. Daisy wants orgasms and commitment but Tristan can only promise to deliver on one front. Her feelings get mixed as their relationship progresses. Despite her friends warning her, she ignores their advice and focuses on the month she committed to stay with Tristan.
It was cute and sexy but I didn't see enough sport in it to qualify as a sports romance. Just my opinion. I also found it a little weird that Daisy is friends with these people but managed to miss all the engagements for a year where Tristan attends. How exactly would she maintain a friendship with them while focusing on her demanding career? Overall it was a quick enjoyable read.
Tristan is one hot soccer player, he is a playboy and tells the woman in his life that he doesn't do relationships. He is also working as a doctor to double his attractiveness.
Daisy has to work with him for some time and she knows him really good, because they are in the same group of friends. She is avoiding him since that KISS from a year ago, a kiss they both can't forget. A kiss he wants a second one from and more. When she can't avoid him any longer he dares her and they go out together, making her tell about never having an orgasm during sex before. Of course he wants to proof her that is possible and more.
After their first night they can't get enough of each other and they make a deal about a month together. Which follows is a very hot month for them and for me as reading. The sparks, pleasure and hotness are steaming from the pages of this book. Just wow.
But what will happen after this month? For that you have to read this book, you won't regret it at all.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review
Another great book by JH Croix.
The heat between Tristan and Daisy is so intense that you can almost feel the electricity through the pages. How she avoided him for a year is beyond me. A soccer player and a doctor and British to boot? How could you go wrong. He doesn't want commitment and she wants a commitment and an orgasm but not necessarily in that order. They agree to one month of him giving her orgasms and then "reassess" at that point. Daisy goes in knowing that she will get hurt and her heart will be broken beyond repair at the end of the month because she loves him but knows that he thinks relationships are messy. Tristan has always felt more than just lust for Daisy but will he realize in time that he loves her and will he admit it to himself and her or will he let Daisy walk away like she has requested? What happens when their friends find out they have been seeing each other but keeping it hidden from everyone?
I really enjoyed this story! It was a fun read. I really liked Daisy and Tristan's story. This is a stand alone book even though it is the 4 in the series. It's connected as they are all friends but you don't need to have read the others before reading this one. This was a steamy story that concentrates on the relationship. Tristan has approached sex practically and without emotion and drama in the past, but he can't do that with Daisy. He can't stay away from her and things just grow between them. I loved how they were both upfront from the beginning when they started things and because Tristan is so logical, he has a hard time seeing things for what they are. He doesn't quite know how to deal with it. I liked how the story developed and paced itself. It was a fairly quick read and had a good plot for me. I enjoyed reading it and thought it moved along well. It had plenty to keep me entertained. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Where to start there is so much to say. Let's start with the author... J.H. Croix writes with so much passion that you can feel it as you read. The friendship and loved just jump off the page. It plays a movie as you read and you feel EVERYTHING the characters do. I had butterflies thru the whole book. When Daisy sent Tristan that text I swear I felt her pain and my stomach sunk. Tristan tried his best to keep to his no commitments but Him and Daisy were fire. The sparked from the get go. I love how the other characters come back it's like you never left the last book. I adored Tristan and Daisy. She took his month long deal and fell hard. There story is beautiful. I hated it ending but sure did love the HEA. This started out as an ARC for me but I had to own this book. Only fitting since it owned me as an ARC. Wonderful wonderful book.
I usually love J.H. Croix books, but this one was not great. It was super steamy, but there was no story to go with the sexiness.
I mean that literally NOTHING HAPPENS except these characters entering a No-Strings-Attached sexual relationship, having copious amounts of sex (I'm talking 8+ detailed sex encounters detailed in the book), and then think about wether they want an actual relationship. There are no other plot points. None.
I was also really disappointed by a scene in which the heroine meets a female in a bar and, before even being introduced, immediately looks her over and thinks to herself, "One glance at her and the description I promptly assigned her was 'shallow bitch'." Women who immediately judge other women as a "shallow bitch" based solely on their appearance are not the heroine of the story, they are the heartless mean girl of the story. The fact that the female lead was so catty and judgy is a real problem and I would expect better from a female author.
Wow I said it last time and I will say it again. I absolutely love this series. There is just something about the British Men in these books that get my blood pumping. First we had Liam, then Alex, then Ethan and now we have Tristan. Let me tell you each one of these guys had it all. I loved Tristan he was a little broody and did not say much but when he did say something I melted. He had such a big heart. Then you throw in Daisy. She was a very opinionated woman who said what she was thinking and said what she wanted. These two had so much chemistry together. This book had it all and then some. I can`t say enough about this book or this series. I would highly recommend both this book and the series. They are definitely way more then 5 star books. I cannot wait until the next one. I know that it will be just as amazing as the last 4. I voluntarily received a copy for my honest review.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.
Tristan and Daisy = hot chemistry!
These two have danced around each other (when they weren't trying to avoid each other) for the first 3 books in this series. Both are super smart, hot for each other, but have different relationship goals - or so they think. They come to an understanding with each other - one month then they both walk away.
Other than the details of their relationship, internal monologues of their thoughts, and some super-hot toe-curling turn up the AC srx, there isn't much else going on in this book. And that's okay for those who have read the previous three books based around this group of friends. Otherwise, it feels a little like you joined a movie in mid-stream.
I enjoyed the book and would highly recommend it to others.
This is book four in the Brit Boys Sports Romance Series. This story features ex-soccer player Tristan who is a Doctor and working on a clinical trial. Daisy is working for a pharmaceutical company so they will end up working together. They have known each other for years because her two best friends are married to soccer players for are Tristan's friends. Tristan doesn't do relationships so Daisy has been avoiding him after they had an explosive kiss. She doesn't want a casual relationship. Now they are forced together and the attraction is stronger than ever. No spoiler here but the chemistry is over the top and there are lots of twists, roadblocks and surprises. An emotional roller coaster. A well written books with a strong storyline and characters you'll adore. I received an advance copy and voluntarily chose to review it.
Daisy is a woman who wants it all in a relationship. But the ones she's had are leaving her wanting. Tristan is a no strings attached kinda guy. he is very upfront with every woman he is with that it's one and done. When Daisy tells Tristan her small problem he agrees to satisfy her. Tristan offers her one month exclusive and he will satisfy her. Daisy can't turn him down. But what happens when the month is up? Can you really just be with someone for a month and not have feelings for them? The author once again gives great character development. There isn't much drama outside of this little cocoon that these two have made and their internal drama is minimal allowing the story focus to be on what is really going on with the two of them throughout the agreement. I received this book and am leaving an honest voluntary review.
