Nora Newberry is back in her latest whodunit! And this time she’s going digital!
When a young lady disappears, Nora finds the residents of Milburn, Wyoming surprisingly unconcerned. But this is because they knew it was coming. After all, Lulu had been complaining about her "dinky, little town" for years, vowing to leave it one day.
But not everyone is convinced that she left of her own accord.
Lulu's best friend, Val, swears that something isn’t right about her disappearance. And it seems Nora is the only one who will listen. Unfortunately, finding Lulu proves to be more difficult than either of them anticipated. And the twisted trail they follow, both online & off, may prove more dangerous for the seekers than for the lost…

I'm a mother, wife, homemaker, pet lover, teacher, student, reader, writer, drinker of tea & wine (depending on the time of day) and sleep-deprived dreamer. I live in Syracuse, NY, with my husband, Doug (also a writer with books available on Amazon), our three children and too many furred & feathered friends to list!
Nora is extra busy at Madness Diner, while her partner, Tina, is taking some time off.
Preparing to close up for the night, Nora notices a young man with a hoodie pulled over his head, storming out of the diner. There is a young woman at the table he just left and she is in tears. Nora, being a kind soul, brings her a chocolate sundae in an effort to cheer her up.
Nora learns that her guest is Valentina (Val) and she is upset because she hasn’t heard from her best friend Lulu in three days. Neither the Sheriff, nor their friends seem to take Lulu's disappearance seriously. Valentina, however, is certain that something bad has happened to her friend. Nora offers to help Val search for Lulu.
Will Nora and Val be able to locate Lulu? Has the young woman left town without telling anyone? Why is Lulu not responding to Val’s attempts to contact her?
This is a quick read, and one that will grab your attention and not let go…you get to figure out what happened to Lulu, along with Val and Nora! As usual, Nancy McGovern has included lots of twists and turns within the story, while introducing you to many very interesting people you might find in your own town. Definitely worth reading, I look forward to the next book and reading the whole series again in sequence.
I gave this 5 stars, I was wanting a quick read, and YUP it was, I gave it a first few to get in, and I was ok this will end fast, I first though it was the funny none really gave a monkeys, and then as soon as a few things came in, It was like well then everyone was solving the crime, I was like lousy cops, friends were fobbing friends, stupid, I was like the stories were getting scrambled, And then the light bulb came on and it was a mad rush to whom was going to get more attention.
Yet again Nora solves a case in the small town called Milburn. A girl disappeared from social media Nora and a young friend get together to convince the town to put out a search party for her. I enjoyed this very short but good cozy reading. I recommend this book to anyone.
Nora is again trying to solve a mystery and help a friend. Things get confusing and no one knows what happened to ???? Not as much suspense as the other books in series.
Nicely written cozy mystery with lots of twists and turns.
Once more Nora and Harvey find them selves enmeshed In another mystery. Will it be able to stop anything more is from happening? And who is behind all of this, read more and find out!
A fast read that keeps your interest. Perfect poolside book (which is where I read it) The characters are well developed and the pace smooth. All the clues are nicely tied up and the crime is solved.
