VERY STEAMY. And I mean it. Really mean it.
You've been warned :)

The Wylders have only one goal in life, avenging their murdered sister. But when they meet the woman they were meant to love, sometimes revenge isn’t the only thing that can change a man...

BEAR Wylder
I have lived for justice for eight years and now that I’m close to avenging my sister's death, I won’t let anything stand in my way. Not my family, not my conscience and not a woman with eyes that make me want so much more than death and violence. Danny Bright comes to me as a gift and she’s everything a man could want. She’s smart and fearless and I want her. But I won’t love her, I can’t. I shouldn’t...

WOLF Wylder
I don’t know how to love. I lost the will to feel eight years ago and I haven’t cared about anything but revenge all this time. Until Lori Staneslavsky, an ex-stripper and the most gorgeous woman I have ever met fell into my life. She enthralled me and made me wish for more but I let her go once and I should just leave her be. But I can't...

LYON Wylder
I walked away from the love of my life years ago and I thought I would never see her again until I was confronted by her almost lifeless body and the knowledge that I never stopped loving her. Leila Evans has owned me for eight years and she will until my last breath. I just have to convince her to take a chance on me and make me hers...

LYNX Wylder
I’ve lived eight years of my life as someone else. I ate, slept and lived the plans that my brother Bear made when he made us all promise to hunt down my sister’s killer. Now that we’re all free and I have a chance to live the life I’ve always wanted, I don’t see myself settling down or allowing a woman to rule the roost. At least that’s what I think until a tiny little woman barges into my life and turns order into chaos. I can’t escape Teeny Hughs. She’s my neighbour, a friend and possibly the sexiest woman I have ever met. I don’t’ want love but its seems love wants me...

HAWK Wylder
I watched Mika Evans fade away eight years ago. She was young and beautiful and my haven when my life was out of control. I never thought she would survive, never imagined that all those nights spent willing her to live was the start of a love I only had in my wildest dreams. She’s back, I have her, if I want her but it’s dangerous to love this much and harder to walk away when I need to...

Fun stories, true to the tropes, need editing

I get that the wild animal names are a theme in this series, but it's hardly realistic. It would have worked better if the animal names were nicknames. The male protagonists in the books were, with the exception of Bear, more or less typical of the genre. For the most part, I liked them. The heroines have more distinct personalities, with mood swings ranging from self-pity to terminal stubbornness to spineless lust, with a dash of angst and idiocy for good measure. For the most part, the heroines conform to the genre's trope. Then we come to Bear. Quite simply, I did not like the character, because he's what I consider abusive and cruel. Regardless of the author's intention, Bear has the greatest complexity and, therefore, the most well-developed character in the series.

The first book in the series benefits from clean editing. Then something went wrong. Maybe the author got complacent. Perhaps she lost her beta readers. Whatever the reason, editing took a downhill slide as the series progressed to the point where she confused characters.

So, if you're looking to while away some time with an entertaining read the equivalent of brain candy, then this series will do the trick without taxing your mind.

Love me some Wylder brothers

I thoroughly enjoyed each book..some better than others, but each a good read. My only issue is that the author has a tendency to over dramatize and over explain some aspects of the book..there are times where there was too much commentary and not enough dialogue. After book 2 I started skimming parts just to get to the dialogue. The other issue is, some things weren’t explained enough. How did the kidnappers know that Bear wanted Danny? What happened to Teeny’s awful sister and the baby daddy? Why was Mika so irresponsible with her health after the cancer scare she had? (Just a few things that popped in my head) Overall, I enjoyed the stories and the wrap up at the end.

Bear

The story that started it all. To avenge his sisters death, Bear and his brothers embark on a long 8 year plan that includes crime. Bear loves Danny and has been watching her for a while. When she’s kidnapped he has to get her to safety and not botch his plan..but will she fall for him? Once she’s gets over the kidnapping and realizes she loves him, they’ll be fine.

Wolf

Wolf kept Lori locked up for her own good, until he fell for her and let her escape jeopardizing the family’s plan. Once they stop all of the back and forth foolishness, and Wolf works through his unresolved grief for his sister, they find that there love helps to heal all wounds.

Lyon

LYON found his woman in college. He knew he wanted her and her and knew she was his soul mate. Unfortunately, when his sister died, he couldn’t be there for her..and she needed him after her sister was sitting at deaths door. After 8 years, a chance crime brings them back together..can they fight for what they had and realize that time did not diminish the love they’ve always had.

Lynx

Lynx is feeling restless now that he no longer has revenge keeping him alive. He never wanted to fight for his sisters killer like her his brothers, but you stick by family. His brothers are moving on with their lives and he wants to as well. Once he comes to the rescue of his next door neighbor, he finds that having a ready made family, ma6 be just what he needs.

Hawk

The broody Wylder Brother has no use for wives and kids.he has the hots for Mika and helps her get through her constant battle with her health, but he keeps telling himself what he doesn’t want, but his mind and body are telling him something different. Once he stops running, Mika will finally catch him.

Overall this boxed series is only a 4 and that is being generous I think.
The blog stated that it was steamy/spicy and I found it to be anything but. It said "you've been warned"-- so I was thinking it would be smoldering; again that was a disappointment. So the 4 star rating is for stories that were entertaining, no typos nor misspelled words, & no extreme violence.
Book 1: Bear & Danny-- it was a choppy story, rough around the edges with the main character being large & in charge and some of the plot/storyline was confusing that I had to go back and re-read pages to "catch up" so this story only was a 3 star rating.
Book 2: Wolf & Lori started out similar (choppy) but eventually picked up momentum and maybe should've been released as the first story because I almost dumped the entire boxed set after book 1 was finished. Wolf & Lori had more grit, more drama and some very realistic behavior that made the characters more believable to an extent. (4 stars for this one)
Book 3: Lyon & Leila: another 3 star rating, too much flipping back and forth between past and present, I will not lie that I skimmed rather then read this story.
Book 4: Lynx & Teeny: like book 2, this had more interest & was able to keep me glued to the story; between Teeny's niece, her idiot sister & her loathsome boss there was plenty going on but it seemed better in the planning in this story (4 stars).
Book 5: Hawk & Mika: honestly? I didn't even read it because I just didn't want to read it after the flip flop of so-so book to a better book and repeat the pattern.
I certainly hope the other 2 boxed sets I have by this author are much better.
So if you like arrogant and bossy men, women that sometimes have their acts together and a whole mess of drama this series might be for you.

Just great

This was an awesome series. I enjoyed every book and didn't want any of them to end. I loved their mom Rain and love how even though she was a little thing the boys were scared of her. The family dynamics are great and it makes you wish for a better relationship with your siblings. I'm glad all the brothers got a happy ending and were able to finally heal. Books like these make you ask where are all the men like this? The super protective, do anything for their woman, kick butt type of men. I love the man I have but these brothers made me give him the side eye for a minute lol. I recommend this book if you love feisty women who take no crap and their men who love to growl and take charge.

Wylder Brothers

Love the Wylder brothers! They love ultimately, loyal to family, friends and have integrity that is unmistakable. The well defined details of their loss, pain and suffering their family endured was and intricate part of the storyline and how they rebound to become stronger and regroup their lives and family. This book had all the elements of a good story. It made you laugh, cry, sad, angry and made you happy. Steamy chemistry and lots of heat that made you break into a sweat. Strong protective, possessive sexy men and feisty, spirited, independent women with a lot of sass. Each brothers story is different and captivating. I really enjoyed this book!

Stopped after the first one. Dude kidnaps her, uses her for sex, repeatedly tells her he only wants her for sex, then sends her back to the sex traffickers as a some kind of gift, knowing there is a very strong probability that she will be beaten, raped and killed. And she forgives him afterwards cuz he finally says he loves her, and he was avenging his sister and knew she could protect herself with the shiv made from a toothbrush in her shoe? Nope, done. Maybe the rest get better. I have read other stuff from her and liked it but just couldn’t get over all that.

Brothers will be brothers

I enjoyed this series. Saved the best brother for last though in my opinion. The story is sad that all of them are based on. But each brother was so different so you don't get bored. I did feel that the storylines get exciting but then rushes to the end but I was not ready for them to end. Some parts are funny and I enjoyed that. I am glad I read these as I love stories about brothers.

Good read.

Was confused some. Description stated it was about the brothers getting revenge on their little sisters murder. That started and ended in the first book before we were introduced to the triplets. So I wasnt sure if I wanted to continue, but I did and it just showed how the triplets lived after that tragedy. But I love family oriented books and I finished.

Nice series

My favorite new writer. The characters are well develpoed, interesting, and I couldn't put this series down. Like her other series Grey river shifters. Each book can be stand alone with the characters flow to each of the other books. Hot sex and nice endings to each.

Wow! I loved reading all these stories. A couple of names were mixed up, but it didn’t matter cause u should know who’s who by then. With all the snarling and mating and with names like Bear, Wolf, Lyon, Lynx & Hawk, not to mention the next generations names, u would think these were Shifters 😂
Love this author 💜

I only read the first book. I just couldn't continue because the first book upset me so much. The writing is peccable. I couldn't get past bear's betrayal to read the ready of the book. If you like a book were you her is an antihero then this is a great book.

Jeez these books are full of hot guys who take no prisoners. A group of five brothers who have lived through tragedy to come out the other side to meet the women of their dreams. These women all have their own tragic story and wow what a story they are.

OMG! another home run

I absolutely love all of Mrs Wilder books. And I mean it! This series of books are funny, full of alpha makes who struggle to love, but in the end they make it seem so effortless. The females are strong and just wonderfully portrayed.
