“The life of a fugitive sorcerer is rarely dull. I’ve spent the last few years on the run from the Senosi Huntresses, the Grand Inquisitrix’s personal mage-slayers. Most men wouldn’t mind being chased by a bunch of beautiful women clad in tight leather armor and high heels, but trust me—they’re a lot less sexy when they’re trying to siphon the magic from your blood and perforate you with crossbow bolts.
I never expected to survive this long, and I definitely never expected to meet a gorgeous, red-headed amazon warrior willing to defend me with her life and pleasure me with her perfect body. But I’m sure as hell not complaining, and together the two of us might just have a chance of getting out of this alive…”
Mark of the Huntress is an action-packed erotic fantasy novella and the second installment in the best-selling THE AMAZON'S PLEDGE series (24,000 words)
Sarah Hawke is a prolific writer of science fiction and fantasy in multiple genres, including erotica, harem, and bondage. Her books are known for their intricate world-building, twisting plots, and fleshed-out characters—and of course their many intense, steamy sex scenes.
If you are interested in "pure" traditional harem stories, The Lost Fleet is the perfect place to start! Wings of the Seraph is a shorter, older series but also hits most of the traditional harem notes. Shadow of the Seraph features a rotating male and female pov with some F-F scenes involving temporary futanari, so avoid that unless it is your jam!
Her fantasy universe features many types of erotica stories involving bondage (Elf Slave, all the Spider Queen books) and non-traditional harems (The Amazon's Pledge, The Amazon's Vengeance). She also has two ongoing fantasy erotica series with intense action and multiple points of view, War of the White Throne and The Blade of Highwind.
Pretty good but not as enjoyable as the first. The character Valuri is so irritating that I lost a lot of respect for Jorem for letting her taunt him and insult Kayesa. I wanted to throw the book in disgust. Still hoping Sarah Hawke tones it down a little (or a lot). That much animosity is draining the fun out of an otherwise great book.
There is plenty of e-book fantasy for Kindle and also a good bit of erotica, but very rarely does a book succeed as both. I was very pleased to discover Ms. Hawke's works as it does succeed as both. In Amazon's Pledge we have interesting characters and really good world building, especially for rather short novella-length stories. And the sex is hot! Highly recommended.
First book was a little better because it was new. This is still pretty good. I am still a little surprised that there is an actual story here. We meet Kayesa's sister in this book and find out more about her mission that allowed her to meet Jorem.
