Loved this new book from Tim Miller!! Nikki Blade is so very cool as a ex cop turned bounty hunter turned...well, guess you’ll have to read to find out! I loved the characters, and ghouls, and other interesting creatures splattered through this book. Of course Tim’s wonderful plot twists and humor abound. Not his usual extreme horror, so any lover of the creature feature or light horror or even a crime thriller should like this. And I’m on to the second Nikki Blade novel! Highly recommend by me ;)

Blood Wolf is an urban fantasy. I love this genre. Tim Miller is new to this genre and does an amazing job! I love the fast pace action of this book. The characters are well thought out and unique. The story flowed well and was wonderfully written. Niki Blade is absolutely BADASS! I am definitely hoping for a book two!

Blood Wolf by Tim Miller

This is a quick read, very fast paced I hadn't realized I read the whole book when I completed it. I enjoy UF as it is one of my favorite genres. I was at first not knowing this author thought he was new to the game. However, after a bit of research, I find he is only new to this genre. I am very curious of his previous books they sound super interesting! He did well on his first jump into a genre that too often becomes repetitive. He definitely will rock this genre boat. I think maybe Tim restrained himself trying to not cross that line of horror books he is used to writing. Well, Tim... let those restraints go we want more of Nikki and her world!

Though I found this story highly entertaining and obviously enjoyed it enough to read the entire thing in one sitting, I did have a few issues. I felt the dialog lacked depth and I felt that only Nikki was being developed to the degree I like my characters. I really needed more from the people around her. The strange and sometimes comical extras in my opinion appeared and were gone too quickly.

That being said it was maybe just over a bit fast and I needed more. Perhaps with more books to come in the series I'm hoping to see the growth in the world around Nikki.

Nikki is a kick ass female lead. She doubts but when faced with undeniable proof she goes with it and gets the job done. She is faced with many beings that she thought were only in make believe. And just what is with her that's so different? Mystery, horror, sci-fi, and action this book covers it all!

Wow! I really liked this book. I know this author as a Extreme Horror writer (which he's very good at BTW) and to read this book it's quite the change of pace. I thought this was a fantastic paranormal book. Plus more. I super excited to read more of this series.
So Nikki was a cop, but now she's a Bounty Hunter. She's pretty much the best one. "Animals" are attacking and killing people in the woods outside town. Nikki is hired by the mom of one of the victims. $100,000 to see if it was really animals. Nikki finds out there is alot more crazy in her town then she could ever imagine. There are a lot of things going bump in the night.

Addictive!

Tim Miller has spelled into pages the ideal warrior! Nikki is anxious for vengeance, protects the innocents, and has a debt to pay! With paranormal activity on the rise and mysteries around each bend Nikki must transform into the warrior and savior she is meant to become. This is an amazing introduction to this series. The pages flew by and I was both full of desperation and despair when I started to run out of pages! This is the exciting story you've been waiting to read! Tie together your hopes, dreams, fantasies, and a myriad of paranormal creatures for the recipe for this story. For adventure seekers only!

Tim Miller takes a leap of faith and writes Urban Fantasy. Veering from his extreme horror, he introduces us to Nikki Blade, Bounty Hunter. This book will not disappoint! Loved the story, the unique paranormal creatures and Nikki Blade. It has enough gore to please both seasoned Tim Miller fans and new fans. Definitely looking forward to next books!

Blood Wolf Review

This was a total change of pace for the author who is best know for his extreme horror books and I loved it. The heroine is a smart, sarcastic, bad ass that comes with her own set of emotional baggage even before shit hits the supernatural fan. Overall it reminded me a bit of the early books in the Anita Blake series. Which I personally think is pretty impressive considering it's the authors first crack at this genre type of book.

I have been a fan of this genre for a very long time and it's always exciting to find a new book or series that grabs my attention the way this one did.
I can't wait to see what book two has in-store for Nikki Blade and in my opinion Blood Wolf is definitely recommend.

New favorite series!

You're probably know Tim Miller from his Extreme Horror books. But Nikki Blade isn't anything like those previous stories. And not surprisingly, he hit his new Paranormal book out of the ball park. The story is filled with everything a paranormal book needs. Drama, suspense and of course the creatures. Vampires, werewolves, oh my! And they're not the only creatures you'll meet in this story. With a quest to save her town, Nikki is also trying to learn more about herself... will she succeed?

Arc review written by A.Frazer from the author and publisher in exchange for an honest review...

This is the first book I've read by Tim Miller so I'm not sure what I expected. I understand this book was his first urban fantasy novel after writing extreme horror. I guess I was expecting a little more horror to be woven through the storyline but found he stayed true to the urban fantasy theme.

This story has a very strong lead Nikki Blade. She's a disgraced cop who find herself working as a bounty hunter. After taking on a missing persons case she finds herself in a situation where the world she knew is never going to be the same. Vampires, Wolves, ghouls exist and nobody is safe.

I found the main character Nikki a little 2 dimensional and hard to empathise with. She's very strong minded and kicks ass in her world, but I would have like a little more emotion from her character. I did however really enjoy the twists in this book and how realistic the paranormal world blended into the real world.

I must admit that I had never heard of Tim Miller before reading this book. I am a reader who has never cared about what others are reading. I don't care what Author or book everyone else is reading at the time. I read and buy books based on what I'm in the mood to read at any particular time. Thank goodness I choose this one.
Long story short I discovered Tim Miller on Twitter because I was looking for something new to read even though I own over 500 books and after searching I saw him post this book so I decided to purchase it based on the synopsis.
Tim Miller you now have a new fan. I didn't have a clue what I was in for but you sir had me hooked after page 10. I truly loved every character of this book. And I do mean EVERY!!! If I could give this book 10 stars I most definitely would.
I highly recommend this Nikki Blade Novel. You won't be disappointed.
