Part of a Series: bk3
Setting: Clover Lake Pa
Hero: Caleb (Libby's brother..bk2) A Pinkerton on a mission.
Heroine: Adele - She is a writer and lives in her own world but is trying to make her own HEA. She is Theodore's (the abusive control freak who tried to marry Loraine bk1) cousin.
plot/storyline:4.5* - Adele came from Beckham to get away from her scheming selfish cousin. While Caleb is looking for the gang who kidnapped his sister, he is staying at Clover Lake.
Ending-4.5*- An abrupt HEA. A bit dramatic ending wish there was more details. The epilogue help
cleared thing a bit.
Reading Enjoyment:4.5* - an enjoyable fast read. Excited for book 4 the way that the epilogue left things I am anticipating an unexpected romance with possible drama. It is a fun read and I am sure others will enjoy it as well.

What an exciting tale the author has taken me on! A determined Pinkerton seeking the sheriff responsible for kidnapping his sister. The quest and unexpected find in Adele took me through a fast action book. Book gifted to me.

A fun story. Good characters. I wish I could have read even more about them. I just realized it is book three in the series, I'm thinking I would understand a little more if I would have read the first two. Ha! Great story.

Love by the lake
What is better than writing about love? Knight's in shiny armor rescuing damsels in distress. Caleb is a serious Pinkerton Detective. Adele is a writer and a damsel in distress. Is Caleb the man to save her? Well worth reading.
