Lucy Appadoo is a prolific author who writes contemporary romance and romantic suspense novels about strong women who manage adversity with strength and heart.
After a childhood spent reading and imagining escapist worlds, Lucy has put her imagination into stories. Her work as a rehabilitation counsellor, and former work as a counsellor in private practice, have led to an interest in writing inspirational stories about authentic, driven women who struggle with a new love interest or stalker.
Lucy enjoys plotting the next love story, travelling for fun and inspiration, researching crime stories and news to inspire her work, watching romance and suspenseful movies, reading, meditating, and spending time with friends and family. She also appreciates her Italian background, which has inspired her to write imaginative stories about her parents’ childhoods that have led to The Italian Family Series novels.
I rea?my don't know how she didn't feel anything off with Arthur. It was like he was a little to smooth. That is until the stranger shows up causing commotion. At least he help save her.
A short , scary story. Caterina and her boyfriend are interrupted by an intruder. All she wants is to save Arthur. Would have loved it even more, if it was a bit longer.
Collection of Short Story Thrillers - This is my first read by this author and this collection has three short stories. I was not able to finish all three, while they might have been based on true happenings, the write ups were not realistic. Everybody's into Psychology, but the women make assumptions that are asinine in order for the stories to develop. Of course, everyone confesses. I contacted the author to review her books and receive this book through Booksprout. 2*
Evening Interrupted - I didn't care too much for the female character. She has low self-esteem but thinks she going to create new methods working in law, and knows she's bad with men, yet goes to an isolate home to be with her new boyfriend. Didn't care for the sex. Some of the violence was too Hollywood. I couldn't finish the story.
The Dreamcatcher - Another silly female character. She's 22-years-old and working on her Master's. With not very much evidence she thinks her father lied and is tied to a serial killer. She thinks he's lied all her life. I couldn't finish this either.
Red Flags - I did not even bother reading more than two pages, so there's no review for this one.
