Although this is a book intended for Roman Catholics anyone who is interested in Mary Magdalene can read this. All the legends concerning May Of Magdala are in here as well as the verses in the lost gnostic gospels which mention her. The author's opinion of Mary Magdalene being the Beloved Disciple instead of John is in here also. Simple to read and inspiring, I found information in here that I did not know before.
Mary Magdalene remains a controversial figure in that so little remains most having been removed from The Holy Bible. although the Catholic Church has now changed her position to that of Apostle Of Apostles they still haven't returned the lost gospels to the Holy Bible which I wish they would do!

I borrowed this book via InterLibrary Loan. It is good!! I ordered a copy of my own because this will be a valuable resource for the future. Not only is it a good resource on Mary Magdalene...it has prayers/devotions and the author recommends additional reading.
