Great book; poor Kindle version

This was a great treatise on the Eastern phronema on the holy ikons. Abp. Lazar Puhalo’s handling of this topic with copious references to the Sacred Scriptures and the Ikons of the East versus the ones in the West, make this book an intense read. His fluency in multiple languages — right from the Greek to the Hebrew and Slavonic and French, also makes it easier to understand the commonalities as well as their core differences. This is where this format of the book comes as a disappointment (Kindle). The footnotes are not properly linked. In fact, they hardly are. Likewise, the Greek characters are not at all displayed properly. If only this book is available in print… But, this is a great book for anyone interested in the holy ikons — some of which are pictured from the catacombs of the 2nd century to the ones in Sinai and Serbia and Hagia Sophia.
