A fantastical, in depth tale.
Twist Roots is a fantastical, in depth tale that I throughly enjoyed. I read it in one setting and loved the detail the author pulled in throughout the story. The relationships between characters are undeniable and realistic. The special elements throughout the story were well explained and easy to understand.
I highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys a short read with a lot of depth weaved throughout!
The reason for 4 stars is that there were some minor issues with edits. They would throw me off for a moment and pull me out of the story.
For example:
"...Cora explained everything to her that Angela and told her."
I believe it should read:
"...Cora explained everything to him that Angela had told her."
They are minor issues, but I didn't let it purturb me from enjoying the story!
