About the author

Founder of 7K and Elisha’s Room, Dr. Cornelius Quek was born into a Buddhist family in Singapore. Even at a young age, he had an acute sense of spirituality. At sixteen years old, he encountered the love of Jesus, and his life was dramatically transformed. He was radically saved and delivered from temple and pagan idol worship. His father, out of sheer anger and desperation, sought out a temple medium, or fortune teller, to inquire about Cornelius. The temple medium told his father, “The Spirit that is on him, I have no power to touch.” Many years later, he experienced the great joy of leading his parents to the Lord.
Cornelius received his theological training from London School of Theology in the United Kingdom. He also earned master of divinity and doctor of ministry degrees from the world-renowned Oral Roberts University, researching the ministry of the supernatural in the marketplace. He is a fruit of Oral Roberts University’s ministry to take God’s healing power into every man’s world.
Cornelius is passionate about speaking to, equipping, and mentoring contemporary leaders and culture-makers to influence every sphere of society. He and his beautiful wife, Tiffany, have been commissioned by Bethel Church in Redding, California. He also teaches at Bethel Church and at the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry.

When I think about what it means for God to supply all of our needs, I can't help it -- my brain zooms in on the stress of finances. This wonderful book by Dr. Cornelius Quek has gone a long way in eliminating my tendency to worry first and seek God when things come crashing down. Provided reminds me to "seek God first." The author succinctly discusses how God’s provision encompass far more than our finances and physical needs. God provides for our hearts, minds, and spiritual lives as well. He is our Source. Clear, down-to-earth, and salted with good examples and related anecdotes, Provided is well-written and entertaining. Dr. Quek underlines our status as children of the living God. Staying close and connected is key because our Father has already provided all of our needs. I highly recommend this book. It may be a refresher of faith for some. It was eye-opening and original for me.

Provided lays out the fundamental truths and promises of God pertaining to His provision and His goodness. With sound theology and Biblical support, this is a resource that teaches and encourages the reader to stand in agreement with God and Scripture regarding the resources He has for our lives.
I would highly recommend this book for anyone who desires to understand the power and abundance of God's provision over finances, His heart to provide and the way in which He joyfully and freely does so.

Intelligent. Pertinent. Practical. Provided cuts through the thick of a much-irksome matter to dispel the tragic lie that God is stingy or churlish. Using his craft of storytelling and theological prowess, Dr. Quek reveals beautifully that our provision is no fairy tale affair spritzed with a little false hope here and a broken dream there. Really, and oh-so-convincingly, provision’s a done deal!

This book has already brought me to see the Shekinah glory of God. Dr. Quek lays out the reality of scripture related to Gods provision to one of the earliest examples of faith in the bible. As a believer I find we swing either of two ways in our beliefs in the area of wealth & finance, where 1. money becomes our obsession and idol OR 2. where we have the 'poverty' mindset and believe money is evil. 'Provided' has helped me immensely to learn the biblical and accurate understanding of the topic of wealth and to renew my understanding of God as 'Jehovah Jireh'! Totally recommend this book to anyone who feels they need to be 'set free' in the area of trusting God for resource and wealth!

Thank you, Dr. Cornelius Quek, for writing this book and sharing your real-life experiences with the God who has already provided! I have struggled with believing God for provision since I was 10 years old, wrongly operating in the lie that to receive the things in life I needed, it was somehow up to me. God has had me on a beautiful journey unraveling the lies and learning to walk in a true covenant relationship with Him. Your book, "Provided" has brought another fundamental key of truth towards unlocking complete healing and freedom for me in this area! I was hooked from the Introduction and couldn’t put “Provided” down from there!

.we all have things in our life that we need PROVISION for! You name it! I am sure many of you are believing for specific direction with a dream, you are waiting for a job promotion, a relationship breakthrough, or need to know how you will provide for the needs of your family. Whether it seems big or small- God is in the midst of that provision.

It began as a supportive wife but as I continued to read the book PROVIDED it began to wreck me! I began to unravel the truths of scripture that God truly is a good provider. See, I know first hand what it feels to stand on the solid truth as you wait for your provision. I found the profound reality that "How you see God will determine how you see your circumstances." My favorite parts of this book were the real-life testimonies partnered with theological backing. I also have gone back to revisit the prayer of faith sections at the end of each chapter equipped with a prophetic act to usher in a changed mindset.

I was excited to read this book. I already trust God in so many areas of my life but I have not seen the level of favor and financial freedom I know that God has already "provided" me as His child in my life and ministry. Even in the first few pages these words got my attention, "Divine provision is a prerogative of God’s children. As a good Father, He delights in providing for us, and He created us with an innate dependency on Him to meet our needs." This book has already captured my attention and my heart because I know I am in covenant with God, and that is greater than anything I can accomplish or do on my own! This book is a MUST READ for every Christian. It reveals a deeper understanding of what we have access to through covenant blessing from God. I found myself taking notes on EVERY chapter and wanting to encourage everyone I know to get the book and receive the revelation of what it really means to be PROVIDED for by God. I’ve been a Christian for over 10 years and am an ordained minister, however this book opened my eyes to WHY I have access to riches through Christ my redeemer. We need the knowledge and understanding to fully walk in blessing and this book gives us JUST THAT! I highly recommend this book and consider it crucial for the body of Christ to gain insight into sovereign provision as we enter into this next season.

Dr. Quek’s ability to describe heavens economy and encourage his readers is unrelenting in the pages of Provided. It is time we defeat the poverty mentality and destroy the spirit of lack that wants to cripple us and keep us from the promise land mindset that Christ is inviting us into.
