They say that behind every great man is a great woman…but what if that woman is a Werewolf?

The readers love Terry Henry Walton:
“So much action in this book and yet the characters are distinct and thoroughly formed. Your heart beats with each of them.”
“This series just keeps getting better. Awesome Craig has done it again and then some. Speechless.... I love the characters and how the story seems to flow.”
“It was long .... but Craig Martelle filled in a lot of stuff we, as readers, really appreciate. I loved it!”
“…wow I don't care how long a book is when it is good it is not long enough…”

Civilization has returned to humanity and brought with it the vices of the civilized.

The fight for the end begins as petty power seeks to fill vacuums. From China to Chicago to New York City, Terry and Char are fighting for their lives.

The FDG, Vampires, Weres, Michael, and Valerie all collide in this epic climax to the Terry Henry Walton Chronicles.

When the finish line isn’t the finish at all, but the start of something new.

It’s a whole new battle, one for the FUTURE of mankind.

Terry’s just not sure where it will be fought.

I see my other lives, a career in the Marines, those damn hand-written tests in law school, a business consultant, as if they're stories from a book. I see my books as if I lived there, as if I were friends with the characters. All things we remember are behind us, only those we imagine lie before.

I'm not sure which place I prefer, but I don't have to choose. They live together in my mind. My books have some award nominations, they have bestseller tags across multiple countries. I write about justice, honor, and loyalty because that's what I care about. My stories are mostly set within worlds that haven't been, but could be. We have to be ready for when those times come.

No matter where I went, I always had a book with me. Thanks to 21st Century technology, I now have hundreds of books loaded on my phone and always with me. This breakthrough allows me to binge read my favorites. How many books would I have read on deployments had I not had to have a physical book with me? I paced myself so I wouldn't finish too quickly.

We aren't encumbered like that now. I love the works of Robert Heinlein, Anne McCaffrey, JRR Tolkien, Robert E. Howard, and so many more. I have been compared to Andre Norton and that is humbling - she was an incredible author with a huge list of novels to her credit. With every new book, I aspire to live up to those that you, the readers, have compared me to.

Through a bizarre series of events, I ended up in Fairbanks, Alaska. I never expected to retire to a place where golf courses are only open for four months out of the year. But that's the way it is. It is off the beaten path. My wife and I get to watch the northern lights from our driveway. Our dog has lots of room to run. And temperatures reach fifty below zero. We have from three and a half hours of daylight in the winter to twenty-four hours in the summer.

It's all part of the give and take of life. If we didn't have those extremes, then everyone would live in the sub-arctic.

For the fallen

TH has a constant video playing in his mind theatre especially when he's not actively in his desired element. That of his pledged duty to Bethany Ann. She's coming back to earth & as Akio had informed TH, she has something for him upon her arrival. Wanna know? Idk, but 1 thing I'm sure of is, the long 16yrs search for Joseph-san & his beloved is over now. 😊

Glad to see that it is correctly tying into the other spin-off series.
Great series and highly recommended and I am looking forward to the new galactic adventures
of our band of misfits. Akio's mentioning BA's reference to "Bad Company" hinting at the possible resurrection of their new roles.

What!?!? You left it THERE?!?!

Yes, those are the words I shouted out about 3 minutes ago when I read the last line of Galaxy, startling a husband and a couple of cats in the process. Thanks a lot LotC and Yoda :p

Gosh, I don't even know what to say about this one beyond the obvious (and at this point, obligatory) "I loved it, it was awesome!" Honestly, if you're even reading this review, you have probably at least read the previous nine books. And hopefully, you've read all of the main arc TKG books. If you haven't, well, what are you waiting for?!

I haven't decided yet if this is my favorite Nomad book, or my least favorite Nomad book. Why, you might ask? Well, but that would be spoilers! Let's just say that both the nature of this arc (spanning 150 years, remember) and certain events in the storyline, are both stark reminders that true immortality is a myth... and leave it at that. On the flip side, some tie-ins with the early days of "someone's" re-emergence had me literally giddy with glee!

Of course, now I am burdened with a task... now I must go back and reread all the main arc, Michael and Valerie books so I can make sure I didn't miss anything. Because I'm sure I did. And that is just going to NAG at me. *dramatic sigh* Ah, the burdens of being a TKG fan...

Good not-ending!

Completely loved the end because it's not the end! Best bits - mashup heaven, really well done and prepared me nicely for the next parts of Valerie and Michael's stories. Best Buffy reference of the whole series! The references have been brill all the way through. Can't wait to catch up with Terry and Char as I read my way through the bigger story. Well done Awesome Craig!

In this episode of Nomad's Land the story line thus far is wrapped up and prepares us for the next big thing... why not shoot for the stars? I will be eagerly awaiting the 1st beer TH tries... I'm sure it will be "out of this world". Great series Craig!!

Just outstanding

Could not ask for a better final book. So much happening. So much to settle in oneself. But still fighting the good fight with family. Still teaching. Such core strength. Just one extremely exciting story!!!!!

Set up

Spoilers...sort of

So that scene where Butch and Skippy get kidnapped... It could just be my mind over thinking things. But they really didn't want anything to do with the pack or pack business or saving humanity blah blah. They have spent a lot of time in NY and they never wanted to leave. Withholding info about Weres moving in. It was an ambush but who tipped the black plague off? It was assumed the Black plague are getting info from Foresaken and Weres. So what if it was Butch and Skippy? They found bodies in an underground garage with clothes on them... what if they switched out of their clothes and put them on already dead Weres? It was pointed out that the bodies were decomposing already... ijs... what if?? 😨 Haha! Anyway great ending to this series and of course can't wait until the others roll out! Great job Mr. Martelle.

Wow

Not an ending but a true beginning.
Mr Martelle has done the amazing. He has held us through the good, the bad, and the ugly.
He has tied this series, seamlessly, into the KGU and makes us wish that we could be in a post-apocalyptic earth alongside some of the best of the best. Humans who aren't just humans but are the best of humanity. He makes us want to be worthy.
Thank you.

Wow!

So much happened in this story that it set my head spinning.

I found it amazing that Craig Martelle, and Michael Anderle, could fit so much history into this one book, but they did, and it worked so well in bringing Terry, Char, and all the gang up to the point where Michael has reappeared, and it won't be too much longer before Bethany Anne gets back to Earth, and her love!

This whole series has been a blast, especially as it was reading one series of Craig's :Free Traders, that got me interested enough to see if he'd written anything else, and thus my addiction to the Kurtherian Universe was born!

This book is awesome, and I'm going on to read the Nomad's Journal after finishing the authors' notes (I love the Northern Lights pic that Craig added to them! Thanks, Craig!).

From there, according to my reading list, I go on to : Returning Honor, the last of the Reclaiming Honor series, then two more books until this first Kurtherian Gambit Arc finishes, and a whole new lot of series begins again!

I really love this never-ending tide of awesome books to read - it makes me so very happy!

One of the best series I've read.

Craig Martelle had written an amazing epic fantasy in the Kurtherian Gambit Series. It is deeply filled with humanity and a rousing plot which has characters that keep bringing out the best in the storytelling. TH is dynamic yet full of the failings a truly great man lives with. He can't help but care for everyone he is entrusted to protect. He finds love in spite of himself and family where he least expected. The story will continue in outer space, but I recommend rereading the Nomad series to catch all the wonderful one-liners hidden in the text. Kudos, Craig for an outstanding job! Oohrah!

Excellent!

These is a wonderful book. A culmination of all the others before it. I have a few issues as I read Darkest Before Dawn before this (as per the suggested reading order list) and I do have a few issues. Mainly that in those books, Akio hasn't suggested a time frame for BA coming back to earth to Micheal and is encouraging him to help find the pieces of a sacred clan ship to put together to go out and meet her. In this book, Akio knows exactly when BA is planning on arriving amd is rkng towards that end. That was a bit jarring. Still, it was very enjoyable. Really looking forward to the next one.

Even better the 2nd time

Whether you like paranormal or military sci fi, there's something for everyone in these series. Werewolves and vampires in the military! And some romance too. A little fighting, a little loving, a little saving the world and making it a better place. A little Shakespeare, a little pop culture, a little marine corps trivia. Brings back fond memories of running with my dad's troops and thinking how easy the obstacle course was - I was 8! Not so easy when I visited Quantico in my 20s😕

The End...not really

I marathon read all 10 books and in the end I feel cheated. Cuz there was no end. To be continued in another series. I also was put off by how they bring in another new characters in the last chapter, drop a few hints and teasers. Enter stage right, drop a few lines, and exit stage. You want to know their back story then you will need to read another series. I think I will go find a book that has a beginning, a middle and a real ending not a cliffhanger.

Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing...

It's definitely a daring adventure in the Kurtherian universe! Ten amazing books spanning 150 years of post-apocalyptic Earth. Craig, as well as Michael, is a master at keeping it real. The twists and turns that are thrown in keep things very interesting, to say the least.

The thing I enjoy most about reading is the study in human behaviour, and it frustrates me when things characters do or say just don't make sense. I have no frustrations from this entire series. I will most certainly be reading all of the books again.

A CM/MA SYFY Novel (NGl (AKGS) (THWCB - 10)

CM/MA have penned the tenth novel in the THW chronicles. In this episode a discovery is made that WERE's are disappearing. THW and CW form an assault group to determine who and why they are creating problems for the FDG forces. Once they determine the location of the culprits the FDG Assault Force attack their primary facility. THW and friends hold the high ground and put an end to any future problems. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

This book is part of the series titled "The Terry Henry Walton Chronicles" It is a series within a series set in the Kurtherian Gambit Universe. This is a post apocalyptic science fiction and fantasy spin off, and I consider it one of the top 10 series I've read in the last 5 years. Craig Martelle and Michael Anderle do a great job creating a world and characters you can believe in and get excited about. When you've finished this series, try the first book in the Kurtherian Gambit Universe, then hold on tight and enjoy the ride!

What a great ride!

So much going on in this book and one epic battle!! I don't even know where to begin reviewing it! Things are dismantled, rebuilt, and there is even some destruction...ok there is quite a bit of destruction. We get cameos from other series and whispers of our beloved Patriarch. Some work to better humanity, making trade and travel easier while others continue the mission that has driven them. I cannot do justice to all that is going on in this installment of one of my favorite series in the TKU so you are going to have to read it to discover it all!

As part ends, more continues

We continue our flashes of activity interspersed with the inactivity that drives TH to frustration. The FDG is still putting out the fires that crop up as well as trying to maintain their standards of quality. The book ties together several story arcs together at the end with a big finish that doesn’t end our time with TH, Char and their family. Akio is getting to spring several different surprises together that will bring big changes for the future… Well done!

I see from some of the other's reviews that there is some confusion going on. TH and Char's adventures are not ending ... they are just beginning. I for one can't wait for the next book that brings all of our favorites together for another wild ride through space! Merging all the timelines and plots into this book is a work of genius, I am standing up and cheering/clapping for a big Well Done. The only other comment I have is, can I join "Bad Company", please?

Wow!

What an end to this series! This has been well worth the time to reread all 10 books in a run across very few days, but lots of hours. Michael Anderle says that he doesn't know how to write post-apocalyptic fiction, but he certainly knows how to pick absolutely first-rate authors to join him in the Kutherian universe. I highly recommend this series, and if you haven't already read it, the Kutherian Gambit series itself. I will be rereading more of these books very soon.

So much happening

Ok first off never, ever give TH a man bun!! The cover looks like he has one. Wow does this one cover a lot of years. TH and Char have some down time and then step right back in the thick of things!! We loose some people which is always hard to see. Can't wait for the next step in TH and Char's life!!

A race to the finish line

It was great to see how the different storylines from the other series came together. It could have easily been covered in multiple books but I understand that this series needed to come to an end so the others could continue. Therefore, it felt like a race to the end of the book to tie up all the loose ends.

Another Winner!

From the very first of the Terry Henry Walton Chronicles books, Craig Martelle grabs your attention and doesn't let go. Lots of action, humor and characters you can't help but admire. Looking forward to the spinoff series that will take their story beyond the confines of earth.

Nomad's Galaxy

I'm not sure how close the end of the series. I know I am going to hate it, there has been so many adventures with Terry and Char. I have enjoyed every single page written. There has only been a few series written that stays with me and I have been reading for 50 years! Thanks for the books you both have written keep up the good work!

I LOVE a book that the good guys win, not easily and not without some loss. You can be for the good guys from the get go and the good guys stay true to their moral compass.
Thanks for all the hard work you and your team have done for our enjoyment! Now off to read about Bad Company!
