It's not vital to read Betrayed before jumping onto Unhinged but personally I think it is, it plays a vital part in the overall story, how these two met, the dramatic events that led up to so many deaths, that set the path towards Zach seeking his revenge against the one female that has to pay for what occurred that fateful night.

UNHINGED: Is the follow up to Betrayed by Natasha Knight. Spoken in ‘Dual Perspectives’ In this we are reunited with Eve and Zach, two years have gone by since these two laid eyes on each other. Eve now has a new identity, working in a restate and living in a new country trying to put the past behind her and carry on.

Eve was fifteen when her parents were taken from her, raised by her three brothers, her world ceased to exist and fell apart around her ears. It was around that time when two of the brothers went missing, like they had vanished into thin air, never to be see again, and her other brother went to work for a dangerous man known as Malik.

Zach is an ex military, special op's and is the person that Eve went to in Betrayed seeking help from his quarters to help save her brother. It all started when Eve was taken in ‘Betrayed’ and placed up for auction for her virginity by her brother, her dignity in shreds as she stands up on a platform, scared, looking over the roomful of dangerous men with scarves covering had their faces, only their eyes are revealed, one mans eyes stand out and she’s drawn to them, Zach can’t believe what he’s seeing, he wants to save her but in doing so a blood bath is to follow.

Only two survived that night, Eve and Zach, both lost so much that night, Zach lost six of his best men, on his back is a tattooed shrine acknowledging his fallen comrades. Now he’s on a suicide mission of vendetta to uncover the truth.

This author is my go to author when recommending good mafia reads, though they may not be classed as dark they are gritty and gripping enough to hook you from the start.
I always go in knowing without an ounce of doubt that she’s going to be waving her magic wand and yet again will bring me everything that ticks my boxes, a dark tortured damaged male alpha, to the woman that stand beside them through the thick of things, these woman are also as equally strong as the men she brings us. And Zach and Eve are no different, she’s the light to his dark, she also has no qualms to survive and shoot if it’s required of her. Both have lost so much in their lives, so many people they loved and cared about but their love for each other always brought them home.

And as they both set the motion to discover the truth behind the grossome act, the secrets and devious ploys revealed, will shatter them once again...

Maybe the last two years were borowed time for us both.

And once forgivness and redemption are set in place, exchanging places with guilt and pain, they will both find the way back to each other...

Finally, after so many years, Zach and I, we've come full circle and we're right where we belong. Together.

I fuckin had a hunch, Zach Amado would be my undoing...
and *grins to one of the glimpses in the back of my mind* he fuckin was/is...

This is above all fantastically written action packed, passionate story with the ultimate sense of tension . Zach is such an intense, vivid and palpable character, that he truly carries the plot. He's tension personified. And one of my fave characters, as of now.
Easy flow of storytelling, with twists and turns , despite some small segments of the plot that stayed somewhat mistyfied, this is still one of the best stories written by Natasha Knight.

Eve couldn’t trust anyone, she had this feeling for some time now that someone was watching her and things in her home were moved around. Until a client came to her workplace;

A ghost from her past,

A ghost that she had lost his protection,

A ghost that she would need protecting from,

A ghost who had come back to...collect.

Sleep well tonight, Eve El-Amin … Because come tomorrow, your days are numbered and sleep will become a thing of the past.

Told in dual POV, 1st person, it’s the third (and the last) installment in "The Amado Brothers" series and it can be read as a standalone. It’s a bit dark and angsty with an alpha anti-hero. I’m a big fan of Natasha Knight’s works but this one was my least favorite of her books. I couldn’t connect with the characters and I couldn’t feel their connection. But as you can see all the good reviews it’s just me! All in all, it was an okay read and hope you like it more than me!

I am a hopeless fan girl of author Natasha Knight and I am crazy about her dark, tortured heroes! After having read and adored her previous works, I knew I would love this one, and it didn't disappoint. It is by far her best work, and you can see the progression of her writing skill in Unhinged. I loved everything about it. The twists and turns kept me spellbound …and the author gave it the only ending it could have had.





Unhinged is the story of Eve reuniting with Zach that had been presumed dead for the past two years. I loved this book. I loved Zach’s overbearing ways, loved Eve and her innocent-naïve attitude, and loved their messy relationship. Zach has had so much to deal with in his life and feels so much love for his friends! Eve’s unconditional love for her brothers is, also, so moving! Zach wants revenge on the people who framed him. In an ugly world of lies and betrayal, Eve and Zach must fight for their love and try to find beauty where they don’t want to look.







Once again this author has penned a great romance. With great characters who are easy to like. This one has all the right amount of love, action, possessiveness and romance this kind of genre needs! READ the book, it is well worth the time.

Unhinged tells the story of subterfuge, betrayal, death, secrets, family loyalty and love. Both Eve and Zach should be dead. A mission gone wrong back in Beirut killed all of Zach’s men and he shouldn’t have survived. But somehow he did and the reasons why are unknown to him… for now. However, he’s out for vengeance and his first stop is with the girl who got away… Eve. He’s a changed man and someone’s gotta pay.

This was my first read from this author and I was thoroughly impressed. This story was dark, suspenseful and intense. It gave me exactly what was promised and I will definitely be going back to Natasha Knight for more. So why wasn’t this a 5-star read for me? There were a few discrepancies that, despite my willingness to suspend realistic belief, I couldn’t accept. I’m pretty sure most people will overlook the little things I couldn’t, but I’m a particular person. I will say that I was absolutely hooked from the beginning and I was kept entertained right to the end. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys dark and suspenseful reads.

I thought this was a good book and I found it pretty interesting. I didn't fully connect with the story though since the thing between Eve and Zach moved really fast. The story was more focused on Zach's vengeance than the romance with Eve so it was hard to see the chemistry between them. Though they had some very hot scenes that I enjoyed.

My first Natasha Knight read was superb. Not only is the cover delicious, but the book was quite entertaining and engaging. Although this book reads well as a standalone, I really want to go back and read book 1 to learn more about how these two characters met.

Here’s the breakdown: When faced with an impossible decision, Eve makes a deal with a trusted devil. She thinks she’s making the right decision, but it ends up costing her dearly. Two years later, she comes face to face with a ghost from her past. The one person who lost everything dear to him because of her decision. Zach is intent on finding the truth. Believing Eve was involved in a setup that led to unbelievable tragedy, he plans to get to the truth of the matter, regardless of the cost.

What I loved: The tension and chemistry between these two characters is amazing. It’s thrumming and palpable. I immediately liked them both. Each elicits a different sort of emotional connection, but both are equally strong. They’re haunted and broken. Zach is dark and tortured. He’s intent on making Eve uncomfortable until she gives him the information he needs. Getting to the bottom of the mystery that will give him the answers is all he seeks.
The tone and theme of the book. I was immediately drawn in and didn’t want to put the book down. It’s very well developed and executed. From beginning to end, I was all in!

Overall, this is an amazing read by a new to me author. I can’t wait to see what else she has in store for her readers. Recommended!

I really enjoyed Unhinged, Zack Amado was the youngest brother an a Master Sergeant a bad ass in a uniform. Zack was part of an elite team special op's. So when Eve came to him trying to save her brother from the grabs of an Arms dealer name Malik he was working for. Eve wanted to do anytime not to lose another brother. At the age of 15 yrs old Eve lost both of her parents to be taken care of by her three older brothers, which two are not to heard of again presumed to be dead.

Malik the arms dealer is testing Eve's brother loyalty they put Eve on an auction block to auction her virginity and to flush out Zack. In that moment Zack knew it was a trap and this night is the night they both lost everything. Assuming no one lived the chaos, two people were pulled out and survived that night. Zach lost six good friend and his best men. Now he worn them tattooed on his back with burned guilt of how his men suffered. Now he’s on a suicide mission every since he found out Eve was still alive a vendetta to uncover the truth. The one questions he has in his mind, how could she betray me!!! The only regret I have with this book is Zach & Eve never met his brothers I believe they all would have been stronger together.

This is not my first book by Natasha Knight so I knew what I was getting myself into.
I have a book hangover. Seriously.
This is a dark romance at it's best.
This book was exactly what I needed, cause' let's be real... from time to time you just have to dig into some good old dark romance.

I will not write about the plot, because for that, you have to buy this and read it.
If I go into too many details, I will reveal too much and spoil it for others... but I will tell you that this is so much more than the romantic suspense.
Don't expect an every day hearts and flowers in this one.
It is a story of love and hate. You know that feeling when you are not really sure what a relationship is? It is complicated. Both main characters are very complex. Chemistry and passion between them is so palpable and off the charts!

I was hooked from the very beginning. I couldn't put it down.
Trust me, you don't want to miss out on this.

4 "Habibi" Stars!!!

When I first read the blurb from UNHINGED I told myself: "MG, this is right up your alley, you need to read this book." So I requested, but I didn't know it was part of a series. The book can definitely be read as standalone, but being the completely ADD that I am, I decided to read the first one. And gotta be honest pals, it didn't live up to my expectations. I mean, it was good, but I was expecting more. Needless to say, that after reading it I wasn't that excited to dive into Unhinged, but I knew I have to read it, and I'm so happy I gave it a chance.

Unhinged was nothing like the first book. And that was good, like really, really GOOD!!!!!!


A secret plan full of promises turned into a bloodbath and released a chain of events that changed their lives forever. Two years later, they're face to face again. Just like fate, the past is a bitch. And it's here to collect.

"Being with me is going to get her killed. Because I'm a dead man walking."

In the middle of a dark and messed up situation, there's always a kind of silver lining. Spoiler alert: There was none of that here. Eve & Zach knew they were fucked up since the beginning, and that it was just a matter of time for shit to hit the fan.

"Be a good girl. Stay wet for me. And when I get back, I'll let you sit on my face and I'll lick your pussy until you come."

There's no denying the fire and ice between these two. The moment they got together was explosive. The lust-hate relationship they start with turns into so much more and the intensity of their attraction radiates off the pages.

The first chapters were a little on the slow side, but things got wild, and I just couldn't stop reading. I was a fly trapped in a web full of lies, deceit, and vengeance.

A well-written story, filled with darkness, fear, hope, and love. Twists and turns that will make your heart race more than once, and scorching scenes that will definitely have you hot under the collar. I still need to read the story of the middle brother, and after reading this one, I'm thrilled to do it.

Eve is a determined, strong and feisty woman, but she will soon know better than to provoque Zach. Will that she her, though????

A dark, gritty, erotic love story with two tortured souls that were looking for revenge and redemption. 

Taking on a new personality and hoping that she was safe and free, Eve, starts living her life but the one person she didn't expect to ever see has now become her nightmare. Reading everything that she went through to survive had me getting goosebumps and it felt like it was me going through that. 

Oh Zach, he felt betrayed and wanted revenge at any cost. Yet my heart went out to him because the more I read the more I saw that his emotions were all over the place and the revenge he was looking for was misunderstood. AND I kept hoping that he would look deep down and see that Eve was not to blame. 

I felt like I was in a rollercoaster throughout the books and at times a scary fun house. Ms Knight you knocked it out of the park!! 5 Dark Stars

Natasha Knight is my go to author. I freaking love her books ever since I picked up Dishonorable and my love for her writing grew. It kept on growing more as soon as I started discovering her books. Her dark and sexy stories make me keep coming back for me and her ability to construct such a spectacle in a story just dazzles me. I become transfixed. I become spellbound. I become transported to her world. I knew I was going to love Unhinged. There was just something so powerful about it that brought me to my knees. Unhinged did not disappoint at all. Equipped with smoking hot and powerfully charged scenes, Unhinged was freaking brilliant in every way. It definitely was the best work ever written by Natasha Knight.

Let me tell you, I was like one of those weird people who kept creeping on Natasha Knight's Facebook page waiting and wondering when she was going to finish writing Unhinged. I was so excited and when I got reading Unhinged, my whole entire self was in those pages. Unhinged consumed me. It was a live wire building and threatening to break out in my system. Mysterious. Edgy. Dark. Brilliantly gritty. Wild. Unhinged was deliciously spanking hot dark romance that oozed suspense and intensity that took every bit of morsel out of me. Damn, I was damn addicted to the very essence of the storyline that gave so many thrills, twist and turns to my soul that I felt I was being hit by wrecking ball. Hell, I wanted to be hit because Unhinged offers so much power and dominance that stirred me. Natasha Knight definitely wrote a quality dark romance that exuded seductive and a phenomenal story that crushed me in the best possible way. She definitely outdid herself. Not only was it dark and pitch black but there was a story of one man's pain and one woman's survival. Unhinged proved to be best than the previous books and I sit here with a grin on my face satisfied.

Omg, Unhinged was just perfect because of Zach and Eve. These two were just fantastic to read. That pull between them just intensified and electrified this book to a new level. Wow, there was such power. Such control. Such chemistry. Zach and Eve had that predator/prey kind of relationship that was freaking hot as hell and sunk me in so deeply. Eve was resourceful, strong. For a virgin, she was not meek. She could hold up on her own. Fiercely independent. But it was Zach I was attuned to. Seriously these Amado brothers rock my world but Zach tops them all. He was mysterious, dark, commanding animalistic, wild and unhinged. My little dark heart called out him. I loved him. I tell you, Natasha Knight writes best dark heroes/antiheroes.

Unhinged really topped everything for me and ticked the right boxes. You really need to read this book and be transported to a high paced and crazy ride that this book offers.

Wow. Like W.O.W. I wasn't expecting ANY of that. Zach Amado has just whipped the rug right from under me in the most gripping way.

Zach is the brother that was like a ghost in the background. I knew he existed, I saw him briefly, but the man he was & the darkness that surrounded him had remained a mystery - until now. I've literally just finished this totally engrossing, captivating, tense thriller of a read & damn did he leave me speechless.

Zach & Eve are brought together in what will ultimately change the course of both their lives. What they don't realise is just how much it will change who they are, who they are yet to become & how hard it will push them to the very brink of hell. A hell that brings death, darkness & the devil himself.

Gawd my eyes were riveted to this book from start to finish, like I could barley lift them from the pages, the pull was that strong. Natasha has written an utterly enthralling story shrouded in lies, deceit & vengeance. The plot twists had me holding my breath, not knowing what would happen with this beautifully broken man, whose thirst for answers left me covered in goosebumps, shivering in anticipation & licking my lips in want.

I was hooked with the dark edginess of Zach & the courageous innocence of Eve. Their whole connection was so well developed, that I couldn't help but feel their deep level of sadness, ache at their overwhelming level of loss & taste the bitterness of the hate & anger that pulled them together as much as it tried to pull them apart.

Unhinged was so much more. Zach was so much more. Addictive. Gripping. Seductive.

Would you listen to Unhinged again? Why?
Yes and No. Yes, because the story sucked me right in and held me hostage, but also no, because it's darker than my normal books and that can be a little too heavy for me. I honestly really enjoyed this story though and didn't want to stop listening. I couldn't wait to unravel all the mysteries.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Unhinged?
When Zach calls her habibi and recognizes that he means it affectionately, as well as when Eve tells him that she is safest with him. They finally see that what they share goes beyond revenge and retribution. There was so much anger and confusion between them prior to that. Eve was fighting and protesting (though halfheartedly) and Zach was still taunting her and playing games. They both started to heal and move forward once they let the other person in.

Have you listened to any of Michael Pauley and Tracy Marks ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have listened to several books by Tracy Marks and one other title by Michael Pauley. I have enjoyed all of their performances and both narrators did a phenomenal job on Unhinged. Tracy Marks was amazing as Eve, but I also thought her male voices were fantastic as well. Michael Pauley was the perfect Zach and he brought an intensity to the character that truly made him seem unhinged.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes, at the end when all the secrets have been revealed and the truths discovered. I don't want to give anything away, but it was an intense showdown and it had me on the edge of my seat.

Any additional comments?
I don't normally read a lot of dark romance/romantic suspense, but Natasha Knight continues to amaze me. Zach is an ultra alpha anti-hero and as much as I loved him, I also hated him. I also wish Eve had a little more backbone. She had her moments, but overall she was a little too damsel in distress for me. It worked though, since there was a lot of predator/prey and cat and mouse between Zach and Eve. It was both unnerving and incredibly sexy. Definitely recommend this audiobook!

No one does DARK and DIRTY like Natasha Knight!

Even if Dominic is still my favorite read by this author, Unhinged was pretty damn good. Our hero, Zach, is out for revenge after his Special Ops team is slaughtered in Beirut. He's convinced that Eve, our heroine, betrayed them all. Once he finds out she survived the attack, all bets are off and he's going to get answers, whether she wants to give them or not.

There were a lot of things I really liked about this one:

4 Stars for the plot The premise of the story was perfect for this author, and best of all, it wasn't just a re-hashing of her previous books. It was complex and, for the most part, well-paced.

5 Stars for the writing which continues to get better and better with each book. Everything from character descriptions, to emotions, to the setting are delivered in crisp, polished sentences that are a pleasure to read.

5 stars for the characters Zach and Eve were both a wonderful mix of strong yet vulnerable. I thought Zach pushed Eve a little too far in some scenes. But let's face it, nobody reads a Natasha Knight novel for the hearts and flowers, so I knew what I was getting into.

4 Stars for the dark/kink factor I completely believed in the evolution of their sexual relationship. It felt organic to the story, and added depth to the plot. Oh yeah, and of course there were those moments of Did I just read that?! ;)

There was only one thing I didn't like about this book:

1 Star for the villain For someone who's supposed to be such a bad-ass, he had a real flair for the silly and over-dramatic. I would think that a successful mercenary/arms dealer would have been caught long ago if he was really into all the puppeteering/meddling he did in this book.

But hey, I was in this one to read about Zach and Eve - and I got that in spades! 4 solid stars!

THE STORY:
This spine-tingling, high-octane dark romantic suspense tale, featuring Zachary Amado, a dark, formidable man teetering on the edge, and his beautifully bewitching prey Eve El-Amin, is chock full of electrifying intensity, scorching hot angry sex, palpable suspense, and exhilarating twists and turns!

If you’ve read DISHONORABLE and DISGRACED, Zach is the third Amado brother, and although this story is technically a standalone, I highly recommend reading the prequel BETRAYED first, which sets the stage for UNHINGED. In nutshell the prequel provides the backstory of how Zach, a master sergeant in the armed forces, was part of a covert military opt to hunt down and kill Malik the Butcher, and Eve was the skittish informant who’d agreed to provide them inside intel. Her motives were pure, or so they seemed, and her compliance came with the promise that Zach and his team would protect her older brother, Armen, who’d gotten in way over his head with the bad guys. But then, once the wheels were set in motion, the operation went south, leaving six of Zach’s men dead and Zach badly injured and presumed dead.

Which leads us to the premise of UNHINGED. Turns out the reports of Zach’s death were greatly exaggerated and when he discovers that Eve too survived the deadly explosion that wiped out his teammates, Zach believes she may have laid a trap for him and his men and makes it his mission to track the traitorous beauty down and get the answers he desperately seeks! BY. ANY. MEANS. NECESSARY. But the explosive fallout may prove to be his ultimate downfall!

MY THOUGHTS:
This spellbinding tale of love and hate, lust and revenge, betrayal and retribution is nothing short of breathtaking! No one writes dominant, FEROCIOUSLY SEXY, tortured antiheroes and courageous, beautifully complex and achingly vulnerable heroines quite like Ms. Knight, and as always, the writing is top notch. Her masterful plotting, nuanced characterizations, searing conflicts and alluring prose commands your attention, titillates the senses, and holds you in a chokehold. From start to finish, the intricately layered, brilliantly woven storyline moves at a breakneck speed, and she did an amazing job of intertwining the mystery and suspense and dark romance elements throughout.

As for the main characters, Zach and Eve, they burrowed themselves deep within my morrow, and I was sucked so viscerally into their story that I was a QUIVERING JUMBLE OF NERVES from start to finish!!

Zachary is truly a MAN ON THE VERGE! This volatile, filthy-talking, fallen soldier vibrates with so much pent up fury and unbridled, animalistic passion he made my knees buckle and liquefied my insides!! A savage beast has been roused inside this tormented ex military man after surviving the unthinkable, and he has the scars to prove it. Now he is out for blood against the sinners who have betrayed him and will stop at NOTHING to obliterate his enemies. And in his quest for vengeance he has the beautiful and traumatized Eva completely at his mercy.

But Zach’s burning rage soon morphs into wild, red hot lust that’s verging on obsessive love…and as the mystery unfolds, and he uses some mighty intense interrogation tactics to wrench answers from Eve’s luscious lips, he begins to question whether she is truly a guilty vixen deserving of punishment or merely an innocent pawn in a treacherous conspiracy who warrants his around the clock protection.

Ms. Knight’s depiction of this hero was SPOT ON as he wages an inner battle between light and dark, self-righteous fury and harrowing self-hatred, forgiveness and retribution. And while his hardcore tactics pushed me to the brink at times, his agony resonated deeply and I could not help but feel for this man who is so ravaged by anger and regret and suffocating survivor guilt he is on a virtual suicide mission to right past wrongs. And beneath all the hard layers of scar tissue lies the tarnished soul of a man who DESERVES to be vindicated, and loved.

Eve is equally fascinating, a soft-spoken and courageous, beautifully nuanced heroine who has been to hell and back out of family loyalty. And while she may appear to be a “traitor,” once the author unravels her devastating secrets and puts a magnifying glass into the inner recesses of her splintered heart you can’t help but root for this tragic young woman who was forced to make some impossible choices to ensure the survival of those she loved most in the world!

The love-hate chemistry between Eva and Zach is OFF THE CHARTS intense and I was a giddy spectator to their explosive fireworks! All of their scenes crackle with a plethora of sizzling sexual tension and a powder keg of volatile emotion that’s set to detonate at any moment, yet interlaced with all the vitriol is an undercurrent of raw, aching emotion that's profoundly moving.

Their erotic encounters are filthy hot, wickedly kinky, and oh so scintillating, and definitely NOT for the vanilla crowd. And while a couple of the dub-con power exchanges pushed me a bit out of my comfort zone, that’s pretty much par for the course with Ms. Knight’s books! She does not write warm and fuzzy romances, but holy smokes can she whip her readers up into a lather! And even though Zach and Eve are not a conventional couple, when everything reaches a shattering crescendo in the chilling climax, I was on the edge of my seat, clutching my chest, hoping against hope that their beautifully twisted love would prevail!

BOTTOM LINE:
Natasha Knight weaves a brilliant, highly addictive, thrillingly suspenseful novel about two broken lost souls who are brought together by love and loss, treachery and betrayal but eventually bring each other into the light. So if you are looking for a shiver-inducing dark r/s tale that quickens your pulse and gives you emotional whiplash from start to finish, then UNHINGED is a must one click!!!

4 star solid read. This was my first time reading this author's work and I really enjoyed it. The writing style is on point with detailed characters and fast moving plot. The story was full of suspense, action and pretty hot moments. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on more of her books!

A sizzling and suspenseful read.

Unhinged is the story of the third brother in this series of deliciously tormented heros.

Zach; he's ex military, special op's making this book completely different in both settings and plot from previous books, Raphael's which was based in Italy, Disgraced the second book was Damon the priest, a forbidden romance not lacking in its own hotness and danger and Unhinged is in America then moves onto Beirut where Eve is from.

All books have an element of darkness, suspense and gripping scenes. I've loved the previous books and loved Zach and Eve's story just as much as the characters before.

There's more than enough to keep you turning the pages in Unhinged. Action, danger, lies, deceit revenge and In the midst of it all are casualty's caught in the crossfire through one persons dark and dangerous games.

It all starts when Eve is taken, placed up for auction, her virginity for the highest bid, betrayed by her own brother surrounded by a roomful of men there faces covered but one man's eyes stand out, Zach bids on Eve, drawn to her innocence, wanting her, wanting to save her until gunshots, smoke and blood fill the air and the room is a massacre.

Eve survives, she's saved by someone claiming to be with the US government and with a false passport is then sent to America and srarts a new life alone thinking everyone else in her home of Beirut incliding her brothers are dead.

Zach also survives, undergoes a long recovery, he lost six of his men that night his back a tattood shrine to his men and now two years later wants answers, he believes it was all a trap, Zach wants revenge and the only way to get it is to find Eve. A mission of private vendetta.

Unhinged is exciting, crammed with drama and has sizzling hot scene's. Zach is one dirty talking, hot, alpha hero.

☆Only some things didn't click for me, why was Zach there that night in the first place what was the purpose of it, to what end? what was the connection to Eve, it was like the connection was one of two people who had met before but no mention of it, just some things felt like they were missing or maybe I just didn't pick up on it.

Many thanks to the Author for making me aware there is a short prequel. How Zach and Eve met and events leading up to the beginning of Unhinged are in the short prequel so my questions above did get answered so READ THE PREQUEL, it's short and free.


In summary;
Great book, action packed, perfectly balanced keeping you on your toes, told in first person dual pov and leads to hea.

Before even beginning my review, I'm going to highly suggest reading the free prequel, Betrayed before beginning UnHinged since it sets up the back story that explains so much about how Zach and Eve are in the position they are at the start of this book.

Zach should have died the night his life as he knew it was destroyed. Somehow he survived and he has been on a mission to track down the reason for his team's demise. Eve shares the same dark secret that Zach does and when he stumbles onto her, he is consumed by this woman that also should be dead. Eve wants answers just as much as Zach does, but for different reasons. He has to remind himself he has a mission to follow through on, one he doesn't plan to survive. Then he allows himself to touch Eve and it becomes harder and harder to separate her from his mission. Eve knows she should stay far away from Zach, but she can't help being drawn to the dangerous and unhinged man in front of her.

I really love Natasha Knight's dark romances and Unhinged is my new favorite. Zach is the perfect kind of dark and tortured hero I am drawn to in a well written dark read. This was full of action and suspense and Zach and Eve had a dangerous unavoidable passion that burned up the pages. Another fabulous read by a dark author who gets better each and every book I read by her!

I have quickly become a huge fan of Natasha Knight. Her heroes are dark, twisted and downright broody heroes and I love them. Unhinged was no different! I loved Zach and Eve and their story, which was full of secrets, lies, betrayal and chemistry dripping from every page.

Side note, there is a prequel to Unhinged, Betrayed, that is available and provides background to what leads to the story in Unhinged. Does not have to be read, but does provide background that is helpful.

Zach Amado is a man on a mission. He wants revenge to what happened that night all those years ago. He is filled with guilt and is determined to find out who set them up. He assumed everyone else died that night. But when he learns Eve survived, he is determined to get answers, no matter the cost.

Eve has a new identity and is living in Denver trying to put the past behind her. Even with what happened to her in the past, she was sweet, innocent, but also strong and determined. She keeps to herself and is barely living, until Zach storms back into her life.

Zach and Eve had a messy history and even messier relationship of sorts. Zach was a man with mission and determined to get his revenge. Together they embark on discovering the truth. Can they find the answers they need and survive?

I loved Unhinged. I was consumed from the start. The story was a wild and twisted ride. It was a story of betrayals, secrets, family and love. It was dark and full of suspense and consumed me from start to finish!

So, not too long ago I read Dishonorable and Raphael Amado stole my heart....I THOUGHT I had met my all-time FAVORITE Natasha Knight BBF!!! Well, move over Raphael, there's a NEW Amado taking your place in my heart and his name is Zach!

Zach is soooooooo messed up. sooooooo heartrendingly PERFECT, I can't begin to tell you!!! He took my heart in the first few chapters, COMPLETELY rendering me a speechless mass of unintelligible mush! His depth, his DARKNESS, his damaged, twisted heart called to me and I answered!! And Eve...she's the antithesis of Zach. She's innocent, yet feisty and has experienced horrendous things, withstood the worst betrayals and yet she's still got a huge heart and doesn't want to believe the truth! MY heart bled with pain and disbelief at the twists and turns, the explosive revelations that just Kept. On. Coming!!

This book, this CRAZY INTENSE, wonderful, heart-shattering and compelling story is an ABSOLUTE MUST READ!!! YOU MUST get this UNPUTDOWNABLE book and read...no, EXPERIENCE, one of MY top reads of 2017!!!

A rollercoaster ride of what is real? What happened?
I liked this book but sometimes Eve really irritated me because how naive she was about her brother. That entire situation with her brother was just so off. He was willing to sacrifice his sister to save their brother but didn’t he care about her at all. Just weird.

Anyone who knows me knows that Natasha Knight is a drop EVERYTHING and Run kind of author for me. I have FLOVED everything she has written and can't get my grabby hands on her books fast enough. I absolutely loved Zach and Eve. He was so deliciously sexy and dirty and I could not get enough. His chemistry with Eve was out of this world combustible and after reading Betrayed I was hooked!

We first met Zach Amado in Disgraced and after one look I was hooked. I NEEDED his story bad. We knew something happened to him but honestly had no idea that it would be this dark and sexy! We find out that he is on a quest for vengeance and needs answers from Eve El-Amin about what happened that fateful night he and his team were ambushed and attacked. No one survived except for him and it is now two years later and he is back and darker than before. But worse he is now tortured, more dangerous and a scarred, tattooed savage. He's become unhinged; through devastation and tragedy he lost most of his humanity and became more of a deadly machine on a warpath with Eve being his target.

Gah. THIS STORY was amazinggg! I was consumed and could not stop reading. I love that Eve was equally terrified and consumed by him. Zach was alpha to the core and so intense he takes your breath away. Their chemistry was steamy AF. Lord my kindle was smoking. This author knocked it out of the park with this one as their quest to figure out what happened in the past was perfectly balanced with their sizzling attraction and dark need for each other. Absolutely fantastic!! Bravo! 4.5 stars! ~Ratula

The perfect ending to the Amado brothers. During the first two books, we only got small glimpses of Zach, but this book was all about him. Raphael and Damon weren't even mentioned in this book, and I was secretly hoping to see some more from them. Maybe Ms. Knight will do a final book to wrap this all up in a neat little bow. If not, I am ok with that.

As always, the writing was phenomenal, and the characters were perfect. The best part was that this was a complete stand-alone, and if you haven't read any books by Ms. Knight, then you are truly missing out.
