Three young American women vanish in Aix-en-Provence, France. The FBI suspects their American tour guide.
Leon Beaudet, formerly a U.S. Olympic wrestler, is proud of his five-star guide business, but when tourists disappear on his watch, the FBI dredges up a violent episode in Leon’s past and tap him for the crime. Worse, his new tour group includes Aline Kerig, who is as beautiful and carefree as the three missing women. Leon is fascinated and puzzled by Aline even while he fears for her safety. She refuses to go back to the States, forcing the FBI and local police to involve her in the hunt.
With the French tourist industry about to collapse and Leon as a prime suspect, how does he protect Aline and find his lost tourists?

Her hope: You'll devour her ‘makeover’ suspense novels in the wee hours of the morning, because her stories, settings and characters, capture your imagination and your heart.
An entertaining read. I love a good mystery, esp. if it contains a little romance. Cezanne's Ghost delivers both. I'm a fan of Rolynn Anderson's books. I always know I'll get an entertaining story that makes me play detective. I thought I'd figured out the mystery in Ghost. Hah. I'm sure if I reread the book, I'll see the clues she so carefully laid. Aline is a strong character with a surprise I didn't see coming. Leon, disturbed that 3 girls had already disappeared from his tour groups, seemed befuddled but determined to discover the whereabouts of the girls. I loved the setting, Aix-en-Provence, France. It's obvious Ms. Anderson visited there. Many insights into the tourism industry.
I loved this unique and imaginative suspense set is the historic French town of Aix-en-Provence. The setting is so rich in details, the reader can almost smell the pastries baking and feel the texture of the stones of the walls of the ancient castle. The plot is filled with twists and turns as Leon Baudet, former wrestler turned tour operator, races against time to find the four missing young American women who have disappeared from his tours in recent weeks. If you like suspense set in a romantic, exotic locale, you'll love this book.
What a unique way of presenting a story. Ms Anderson uses quotes from Cezanne to weave intrigue and deeper meaning into the mystery as it unfolds. I was totally taken by her heroine, Aline. She's a quirky lady, and who she really is will surprise. This isn't my first novel by Rolynn Anderson, and won't be my last.
But an intriguing suspense story. Blind American tourists keep disappearing in France in the old haunts of the French artist. Four guide Leon is suspected. It's up to him to find the women and clear his name. A delightful trip through the French artist's haunts with a surprising and satisfying ending.
