Welcome to King High School!

Love Skyy Hudson is the quiet, smart, and innocent twin. She is focused on maintaining her 4.0 GPA and a faithful relationship with God. However, what will happen when she gains the attention of an attractive basketball player at Martin Luther King High School (KHS)?

Truth Starr Hudson is the wild, outgoing, headstrong twin. Her grades were not perfect last year, so this year she plans to focus more on school instead of boys and partying. Can she do this despite her lack of prayer and being caught in the middle of a love triangle?

Mercy Perez is class president and captain of KHS Cheerleading, and she is dating the star wide receiver of the KHS Panthers. Will peer pressure, pride, and one sinful night get the best of her?

Ava Lee immigrated to the U.S. from South Korea a couple of years ago. She is the best on the Panther Step Team, but can she achieve success in spite of her fear of disappointing her family?

Ryann Warner is the star girls basketball player at KHS. She is one of four siblings, and her father ran off when she was three years old. Given her failing grades, money problems, and adamant disbelief in God, will she have a successful sophomore year?

AMAZING! The incorporation of God and Christianity in the novel brings a fresh view on high school Believers and how they might struggle in everyday life. Great novel!

This is a YA story. It is about students dealing with the struggles of being teens and trying to follow the Christian values that they have been taught by their parents. It deals with peer pressure and the struggle that worldly influences have on Christian children. These teens are in high school and living the life of normal high school students, dealing with relationships, peer pressure, and the need to feel excepted. The good thing is having friends that are constantly praying over each other and reminding them of what's important when it comes to their faith and their walk with God. It shows how if taught right YA can and will do what's right, especially if they have friends that are brought up the same way. It shows how sometimes we make mistakes, but God is a God of forgiveness and you can recover from those mistakes. It is a series, and I am excited to jump into book 2. Great easy to read story, with believable characters and a great read for teens.

This book had a lot of characters but I liked that the chapters were split between Love, truth and Mercy's point of view. They seem to be the main focus of the book. This book had valuable lessons and did take a look at the decisions whether bad or good that teenagers seem to make.

Love and Truth deal with different issues that try to make them turn from God, but it's how the girls react that displays the lesson needed to be learned. I do believe this would be a good book for middle and high school libraries so kids can see how one mistake or one bad decision can change your life forever.
