Cord and Jace of the Everglade Clan are looking for a missing clan member. A tiger shifter that hasn’t been seen for a while. Grant’s a dire wolf shifter born of a laboratory. Grant’s got a secret that threatens his life within the clan. A dire wolf shifter hottie that dreams of a normal life. Daniela’s always wanted to have a normal, less nomadic life. Does Grant offer that or does he offer dissension within a clan?
This story introduces us to two members of the Everglades Clan, Jace & Cord who are out looking for a missing member, Grant. Grant is in hiding and is actually doing a good job of it, until his clan-mates find someone who looks like him also with the same name of Grant. Personally, I think that If someone was in hiding, they'd at least change their name and If this was the case then Cord & Jace may have kept moving/ looking elsewhere. Daniella & Grant begin to like each other and Grant finally reveals his secret, and all is happy in the end!
This was an interesting series to read. Although most of the guys were typical alpha male type characters, I did like most of the female characters; their strength and friendships. This was a good and satisfying ending to the series, I liked the realistic take of Grant dealing with guilt and trying to heal from the past in this book. I do wish the books were longer and we had more time with the characters.
Excellent, outstanding, loved, loved this story!!😁 Ava is an amazing storyteller and fantastic writer. Her stories are just so moving and heartwarming😂. I can't wait to read more of her books 📚.
Finally a fitting ending to a phenomenal series. Each shifter had there own personal action movie to play out. You never knew who would be in trouble from one moment to the next. Awesome and very addictive.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Grant stands out for its deeper character development and sci-fi edge. Born in a lab, Grant is the most haunted of the bunch, with a secret that threatens his standing with the pack. Daniela is sweet, grounded, and relatable, and her desire for a normal life clashes nicely with Grant’s internal chaos. Their love story is slower, more reflective, and emotionally rich, with great moments of vulnerability. It’s a poignant wrap-up to the series that adds layers to the overall narrative.
