This story tells Emmalyn and Carlos’ story as they both act on their longtime feelings for one another. Those actions go against everything moral and good since Emmalyn is married to Carlos’ cousin Dave. Dave is an abusive alcoholic who has spent their entire marriage abusing Em and cheating on her. As she decides to better herself for herself, Carlos comes and acts on his long standing feelings. Things hit a complication when Em and Carlos do not see eye to eye on how she moves forward in her life and in her marriage. This story leads into Favors and Freedom.

Favors and Freedom is available on sale for under 1 dollar. It tells of Em’s plan for Freedom, how Dave’s ex-girlfriend does her a favor to gain that freedom and the suspense of where this plan leads.

About the author

I started my writing career off with my series, The London American Brides. It is a Historical Romance with 3 novellas. I can honestly it was my beginning work. I love it cause it was the series that started my career and allowed my to follow my dream as an author. I did this after suffering a stroke, brain tumor and brain damage. I have had mixed reviews for this series, but I still love it. I can honestly say I felt that I grew as an author with each book I read.

My Finding Change Series is my favorite!!! I wrote The Beginning: Emmalyn's Journey, Book 0.5 as the prequel to Favors and Freedom, Book 1. They tell the story of two strong females and their plot for one's freedom so they both can find the love they deserve. Meeting Jane is Book 1.5 of the series and it begins Lorenzo and Jane's story. It's the prequel to Plain Jane, Book 2, which will be released in 2018. Meeting Jane is currently available in Weak in The Knees, A Love and Romance Anthology.
